Volume 2 - CH 7.2

After Yuuri and Kanade rejected me, my world turned gray.

I knew that since I had betrayed them, they would have to break up with me when they found out. But I never expected to be cut off from any relationship.

Yuuri had always been next to me, and I thought that our relationship was like an inseparable family. So I mistakenly thought that even if I did something wrong, he would eventually forgive me.

I realized this when Yuuri rejected me. We are not family, we are not relatives. We are strangers.

I really wanted to apologize to Yuuri, so I asked Hana-chan to let me see Yuuri again so that I could talk to him again. But that failed due to Hana-chan’s refusal.

Hana-chan called me Hazuki-chan and loved me like a real sister. However, when I met Hana-chan for the first time in a long time, she looked at me very coldly, and the way she called me also changed to Hazuki-san.

I thought that perhaps Yuuri had told the whole family about the incident, but I was wrong.

Hana-chan, who came to the park in response to my call, asked me in an emotionless tone of voice as soon as she arrived. I was upset by Hana-chan, who was so different from before.

“Well, let’s see. Hana-chan, you know that I broke up with Yuuri, right? We’ve had some misunderstandings, so I was hoping we could talk again and get back together again. Hana-chan, would you be willing to help me?”

“……What?”

“A slight misunderstanding? How dare you say such a thing? Did you really like Yuu nii-chan, Hazuki-san? I honestly despise you.”

“Wait, why do you say that? I love Yuuri. I still love him, that’s why I’m asking Hana-chan for a favor.”

“Hah…”

I sighed loudly and Hana-chan glared at me with hostile eyes.

“Hazuki-san. Then why did you go to a hotel with someone other than Yuu nii-chan?”

I was so surprised that I lost my voice, not expecting Hana-chan to know. Somehow I managed to regain my composure and asked, “Did you ask Yuuri?” I asked.

“No, I didn’t. I heard from Yuu nii-chan that you broke up with me, but I didn’t hear that you betrayed him and had a relationship with another man.”

“……Then, why?”

“Hazuki-san, shouldn’t you think a little more before you go into a hotel? Using a hotel in front of a train station that people in this city frequent, and in front of a train station at that, is like asking me to find you.”

Finally, I covered my face with Hana-chan’s words. Hana-chan continued to laugh at me and continued her story.

“At first, I thought that maybe Yuu nii-chan had run out of love for you. Because Yuu nii-chan really loved Hazuki-san until just before he said he was going to break up with her. But three days after I heard about it, I saw you in a hotel with another man. That’s when I understood everything. I knew that you had betrayed him.”

“Oh… that’s….”

“I was very sad when I heard that Yuu nii-chan and Hazuki had broken up. I believed that one day they would be good childhood friends again, even if they were not lovers. However, I didn’t think that you had a relationship with the person Yuu nii-chan calls his best friend and that you would go to a hotel with him. Therefore, I will never forgive you for hurting Yuu nii-chan. From now on, if you see me, please do not ever speak to me. Even now, I am having a hard time because I have to hold back so I don’t hit you.”

Hana-chan, who had said all this in one breath as if she was pouring out her emotions, walked toward the exit without waiting for my response to her paragraph. Then, perhaps remembering something, she stopped and looked back at me.

“Please be assured that I have not told our mothers about what you did to my brother. I think Yuu nii-chan thinks that there is no need to break up the relationship between the mothers even if the daughter is a scumbag. Well then, goodbye.”

After Hana-chan left the park, I remained sitting on the bench.

I didn’t think that Hana-chan would see me as well.

I guess when you get caught, you get caught all at once.

Although I completely deserved it, I can’t help but burst out laughing at my own ridiculousness. I am now completely unable to have any contact with Yuuri.

Even if I tried to talk to him at school, Kanade would definitely stop me, and I don’t think Yuuri would listen to me honestly. That’s probably true. Because if Yuuri had been in that kind of relationship with Kanade, I would have never forgiven him for it.

I lost Yuuri.

But we still have Kouki, so it’s all right.

The other day, Kanade said something strange, but Kouki clearly denied it, and there’s no way it’s too soon.

Until now, I couldn’t go on dates with him because we were in a relationship that couldn’t be made public, but from now on, I don’t have to be afraid to go on dates with anyone. What I used to fill with Yuuri, I can have filled with Kouki.
