Chapter 882: Bully Si Fuqing, Slap in the Face (2)

Chapter 882: Bully Si Fuqing, Slap in the Face (2)

This wasn’t the first time Si Fuqing had crashed the game system; she had done it multiple times.

The reason Oracle’s operating system was so smooth today was largely thanks to her constant bug discoveries and system attacks.

Ji Yun and Si Fuqing had actually met in Eternity.

The two had clicked instantly, later recruiting the then six-year-old Lu Xingci, eventually creating the game Oracle.

“No problem,” Si Fuqing agreed. “By the way, be careful when you go to Eastern Mulberry. Watch out for wandering spirits.”

“Is it really that scary?” Ji Yun felt a chill, goosebumps rising on his arms. “Should I hire a few Masters of Yin-Yang?”

“I’ll introduce you to a reliable one,” Si Fuqing said after some thought. “He even burned down the Fujisan family’s ancestral hall once.”

Ji Yun trusted her connections. “Alright, send me his contact.”

Just as Si Fuqing ended the call, she received another one from Gu Huiyan.

“My dear student,” Gu Huiyan said gleefully, “There’s an internal treasure appraisal meeting at the Heaven Earth Alliance tomorrow. I’ve prepared something good for you. Make sure you come.”

Although Si Fuqing had insisted she needed nothing, he couldn’t skimp on his gift for taking her as a disciple.

Gu Huiyan had already started preparing to transfer authority.

When Si Fuqing had some free time, he would fully hand over the Heaven Earth Alliance to her.

After all, the role of director was largely ceremonial with few duties.

Si Fuqing knew Gu Huiyan was always generous, so she asked, “Teacher, is there anything you need? I can bring you something.”

“I lack nothing,” Gu Huiyan replied, chuckling. “Just give my social media posts a like if you have time.”

The middle-aged man nearby sighed internally.

The director was beyond help.

Since taking Miss Si as his student, the director often smiled foolishly, making it seem like the Heaven Earth Alliance had a new groundhog infestation.

“Director, you’re still missing an antique that will be at an auction in Eastern Mulberry,” the middle-aged man whispered cautiously. “Miss Si will be there for a competition after her variety show. You could ask her to bring it back.”

“This item is valuable; how could I ask my disciple to get it?” Gu Huiyan glared at him. “I’ll get it myself.”

Many antiques and cultural relics from the last century had been lost, and he had been working tirelessly to retrieve them for the Great Xia Empire.

Money shouldn’t be spared in such matters, hence saving on other expenses.

Si Fuqing opened Gu Huiyan’s social media and, unsurprisingly, saw that he was gathering likes again.

She silently gave him a like, resolving to learn his frugal spirit.

She then posted a status herself.

Barely a moment later, her phone rang.

Yu Xiheng’s voice was calm, “Come out.”

“Brother Nine, you don’t understand. This is frugality,” Si Fuqing coughed, justifying herself. “If I can save ten bucks, why spend it?”

Unexpectedly, he encountered her again so soon.

“Si Fuqing?” Duan Jingtao’s expression darkened with disgust. “What are you doing here? This isn’t a place for you.”

He blocked her path, refusing to budge.

Si Fuqing’s eyes cooled. “Move. Don’t make me repeat myself.”

“So what if I don’t let you in?” Duan Jingtao sneered. “Aren’t you supposed to be a big shot? Didn’t you show case your skill at the International Youth Cultural Exhibition? I didn’t see you have the qualifications for the treasure appraisal meeting.”

“You wouldn’t be trying to leech the Heaven Earth Alliance’s internal event, would you? This isn’t the red carpet of the entertainment circle!”

Duan Jingtao still didn’t believe that Ji Qingwei had plagiarized.

He was convinced that Si Fuqing had somehow seen Ji Qingwei’s designs beforehand and copied them, causing Ji Qingwei to be falsely accused of plagiarism.

Unfortunately, no one else believed him.

A bunch of brainless people.

Duan Jingtao’s artistic achievements were indeed high, and he was a senior member of the Heaven Earth Alliance.

However, he was stubborn and only listened to Master Zhuang and Ji Qingwei.

Si Fuqing didn’t say another word. She rolled up her sleeves and approached slowly.

Duan Jingtao felt a chill in his skill cap and saw a flash of fear in her eyes. He shouted, “Guards, throw her out. This is the Heaven Earth Alliance, not her entertainment circle!”

He was at least a senior member.

What was Si Fuqing?

Si Fuqing was just a celebrity, reeking of money and entirely different from their noble artists.

Duan Jingtao had been holding back for so long, but today he could finally vent his frustration.

Who else to blame but Si Fuqing for being so oblivious and run head first into danger?

Then he wouldn’t hold back.

He would show Si Fuqing that she had no place to act arrogant in the Heaven Earth Alliance!

The guards knew Duan Jingtao and recognized Si Fuqing as a top star in the entertainment industry.

Not wanting to offend either side, they hesitated.

“I’m a senior member,” Duan Jingtao said arrogantly. “Talk to me when you can reach my level!”

It had taken him eight years to rise from a junior to a senior member.

Joining the Heaven Earth Alliance was relatively easy, but advancing was extremely difficult. He had piled up countless awards to get here.

Gu Huiyan had just come out of his office and was heading to the hall to personally escort Si Fuqing inside. He planned to use this treasure appraisal meeting to officially announce her identity to the elders of the Heaven Earth Alliance.

Seeing this scene, his anger flared instantly, unable to be contained.

“Senior member, huh?” Gu Huiyan walked over, his smile cold. “Alright, from today, you are no longer a member of the Heaven Earth Alliance.”

How dare he bully his precious student right in front of him! Did he think the name Gu Huiyan was just for show?
