"System, does the delivery warehouse have medical surgical masks and alcohol disinfectant?"
"Responding to host, I have searched for these two items for you. Would you like to confirm the purchase?"
"Buy them!" Qi Huan issued the command without hesitation.
She still had over ten thousand points, so she wasn't worried at all.
As soon as she finished speaking, whoosh—
Two delivery boxes suddenly appeared at her feet.
She pulled out the dagger tucked at her waist, crouched down, and gently sliced the tape on the box closest to her. The seal split open neatly.
After opening the box, four bulk packs of masks immediately caught her eye. The box indicated the quantity - fifty pieces per pack, all individually wrapped.
She then opened the second package, which contained six bottles of alcohol disinfectant spray, along with a small bottle of hand sanitizer gel as a bonus.
Qi Huan attached the spray nozzle to the alcohol bottle, then took out a mask. She stood up and waved it in front of Li Shuchen.
"A'Shu, masks can effectively block droplet transmission, and alcohol can kill germs. Using them properly can reduce the risk of plague spreading. Look, this is how you wear a mask."
She stood on her tiptoes, stretched the strings on both sides of the mask, and helped Li Shuchen put it on behind his ears, taking the opportunity to caress his earlobe.
The warmth of her fingertips tickled him, sending a tingle straight to his heart.
He grasped Qi Huan's mischievous little hand, then asked her a few more questions seriously before finally nodding slightly.
As he bent down to pick up the cardboard box, Qi Huan quickly stored it in her space. She opened her arms wide and said with a coquettish laugh, "A'Shu, carry me. If you take me with you, I can give you these supplies anytime, anywhere."
Li Shuchen obediently embraced her, stroking her silky hair. However, he didn't agree, instead coaxing her in a low voice, "Be good, A'Huan. There are many people with prying eyes at the government office. Stay here obediently, and I'll find time to see you tonight."
"I won't be good," Qi Huan wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her cheek against his chest, her pink lips slightly pouting. "I want to be with you."
"During the day when you're busy, I'll hide in the space. At night, I'll come out, and I can give you whatever you need anytime, anywhere. This way, you won't have to rush between two places and can get more sleep."
After saying this, she let go, took off her necklace, and put it around Li Shuchen's long, jade-like neck.
Previously, when the space couldn't move, she had obediently stayed cooped up in her room. Now that the space had a physical form, she could completely rely on it to stay by A'Shu's side, making it more convenient to take out and store items.
After putting the necklace on Li Shuchen, she explained her intention and then flashed into the space.
When the person in front of him suddenly disappeared, Li Shuchen's heart tightened abruptly. Then, realizing she had just temporarily entered the space, he let out a slight sigh of relief.
He silently clicked his tongue a couple of times and ran off swiftly.
After all the unwanted onlookers had retreated, Li Shuchen took some undergarments and entered the bathroom, summoning Qi Huan.
"A'Huan, wear this after you finish bathing. I've already asked Yan Wu to fetch your clothes. You can change into them when they arrive."
Qi Huan softly responded with an "Mm."
After she finished bathing, however, she found that Li Shuchen's clothes were too long and too big for her to wear comfortably.
She thought for a moment, first repurchasing underwear, then taking out the little dress she had obtained earlier. She tucked the white short-sleeved shirt into the pink plaid skirt, which was both cool and fitting.
After dressing, she opened the door to see Li Shuchen slightly stunned, his eyes then growing dark as he gazed at her steadily.
Li Shuchen habitually picked her up horizontally, the soft feel of her making him realize that her skirt was very short, her legs exposed, with one of his hands supporting her at the knee.
It felt as if a fire was burning inside him, and he couldn't help but quicken his pace, carrying her back to the room.
There was only one bed in the room, not even a soft couch.
They lay side by side, and Li Shuchen averted his gaze, waving his sleeve to extinguish the candle on the table. He closed his eyes and began reciting the "Heart-Clearing Mantra" to himself.
Meanwhile, Qi Huan took several ice basins from her space and placed them beside the bed, instantly cooling the room.
She lay on her side facing Li Shuchen on the inner side of the bed, her breathing gradually becoming even.
When she woke up the next day, she found herself sprawled on Li Shuchen like an octopus, her hand on his waist, her leg draped over his, while he lay ramrod straight on the bed, sound asleep.
Qi Huan, afraid of making him too warm, quickly moved away, collected the ice basins from the floor, and replaced them with new ones.
Then, she repurchased a large quantity of masks and alcohol, filling the entire room and leaving only a small path for people to pass through.
By the time she finished with these tasks, she turned around to find that Li Shuchen had awakened at some point. He was now reclining with his shirt half-open, propping his head up with one hand as he gazed at her. "Morning," he said.
"Good morning, Shu," Qi Huan replied with a sweet smile, reaching over to adjust his clothing.
The delivery boxes blocked out most of the light from the window, leaving the room dimly lit. She sat on the edge of the bed, her smooth, slender legs dangling naturally, swinging back and forth. The sight made Li Shuchen's throat go dry and his eyes darken with desire.
He quickly averted his gaze, turning instead to the stacks of packed delivery boxes. "That's quite a lot," he remarked.
Qi Huan explained cheerfully, "After distributing some to the doctors and patients, you can also share some with the common folk, Shu. We should require them to wear masks when collecting water and food rations, and to disinfect with alcohol when they get home. It'll help minimize the risk of infection."
She added, "Also, make sure they maintain some distance while queuing and avoid unnecessary gatherings."
