Seeing that Bai Lixin didn’t say anything, Mr. Mo slightly lowered his eyes. A hint of amazement flashed in Mr. Mo’s eyes when he finally took in Bai Lixin’s face but it quickly disappeared.
Mr. Mo asked once more, “Mmm?”
In the distance, the blacksmith was already drowning under the frantic gnawing of the Bloods.
He tried to wail, but the Blood had already bitten off his neck and scrambled to swallow it before it could spill out.
[Ding! Players dead X6, currently 44 players remaining.]
The Bloods who had been gentlemanly a moment ago had begun to take on their prototypes, their faces gradually took on bat like features, with dense fluffy hairs spreading over their entire faces.
Some had taken on this appearance while some remained in the solemn aristocratic style of refined scum, but the the corners of their mouths were stained red by blood.
The blood flowed down the corners of their mouths and stood out on their pale faces, which was then licked away with their sharp tongues.
Countless players shivered.
It was horrible and disgusting.
Mr. Mo also seemed to be disgusted by the way the Bloods’ devalued themselves with their mad-dog eating behavior and he raised his cane before knocking heavily on the ground.
The Bloods who were still gnawing on the bones stalled in their movements and spat out the meat in their mouths unwillingly.
The bat-like faces turned back to human faces, they stood up one by one as they tried to recover from their frenzy and cowered to the side.
There was nothing but a mess left on the ground.
Corpses were reduces to pieces of flesh, some with tendons hanging from the bones, while others had the limbs completely torn off.
The heads of several players were now unrecognizable and a round object rolled a few times on the ground before landing in front of one player’s cage.
The player took a look out of curiosity and his soul nearly flew into the air.
It was a bloody eyeball, the whites of which were covered in blood, and the black pupil that was constricted out of fear looked straight at the player, as if complaining about why he hadn’t gone to save him.
“Bleh!” The player’s face was white as he covered his mouth and vomited against the railing.
Mr. Mo frowned as he glanced at the player indifferently and said with disgust, “Food should be food conscious, what food should do is to stimulate the appetite of the eater, not to dampen it. You have committed a food taboo.’
The blood had faded from the player’s face, and he looked fearfully at the Count, who had the power of life and death at his fingertips. He tried to restrain the urge to vomit, his eyes pleading bitterly.
But Mr. Mo did not soften his heart because of this. The corners of his handsome mouth curled up slightly as he spoke to the Bloods, “He’s yours too.”
It was another carnival for the Bloods.
[Ding! Player death X1, 43 players remaining currently.]
The air was unusually cold, and the players looked at each other through the iron cage silently.
Too many changes had just occurred, causing Mr. Mo to forget about Bai Lixin for the time being, “Well, 7 people have been eaten and you’ve all fed well. We’ll enjoy the rest of the food another day. Take the rest back.”
The cage door closed again and the forty or so iron cages were lifted up and trooped towards the outside.
As they neared the door, one of the Blood guards winked at Bai Lixin.
Bai Lixin looked dumbfounded: “.…”
Xia Chi?
Isn’t this A-rank luck value too anti-human?
It cannibalizes people?
The private chat prompt sounded.
Xia Chi: [Brother!!]
Bai Lixin: […… ahem.]
Xia Chi:[When I entered the copy, the system told me that I was a gold assist in the last game, so I was given a chance to draw a prize.]
Bai Lixin: [And then what?]
Xia Chi: [Then I drew the identity conversion card and turned into a Blood. This prop is awesome, even my body turned into that of a Blood.]
Not far away, Xia Chi smiled faintly at Bai Lixin, revealing two sharp, white fangs.
Xia Chi: [That perverted Count has called us, I’ll come see you when I get a chance, and I’ll also talk to you in a private message if there Is a situation.]
Bai Lixin: [Okay.]
Bai Lixin closed the private message and fell into contemplation.
How is it that Xia Chi could turn into a hunter with a lottery draw and he turns himself into a buffet with a lottery draw?
The iron cages were taken into a huge room with fifty beds neatly lined up.
The Blood Guards first moved the extra beds out of the room, stopping only when there were only 42 left.
Then, one by one, the Blood Guards opened the cages and put the players inside.
One of these Blood Guards was dressed differently from the others and was clearly their head. The head of the guards stood at the door and threatened the players, “You are all precious food, don’t upset Mr. Mo in the future.”
“I repeat to you, do your duty as food and do not do anything retarded that will turn the stomachs of those who feed on you.”
“In this castle, only laughing and no crying is allowed.”
“No vomiting like that idiot just did, it affects the appetite.”
“You are not allowed to make any noise when you eat.”
“You must bathe on time every day to ensure that the food is fresh and clean.”
“And most importantly, don’t upset Mr Mo.”
The head guard finished his sentence, slammed the door heavily behind him and left.
The crowd looked at each other, listening to the sound of footsteps fading away before they finally let out a long sigh of relief.
A player immediately broke down and covered his head, crying in pain, “[Blood Clan], it’s actually the copy of the Blood Clan, why am I so unlucky, oooh!”
Before this player could finish crying, the door to the room that had just been closed was slammed.
A guard with a steel sword walked towards the player who was crying, “Didn’t I tell you, no crying here!”
As he watched the guards close in, the player suddenly shouted, “I’ll fight you!”
There was a flash of green light on his body, so he must have activated some kind of short-term enhancement prop.
After using the prop, the player suddenly rushed towards the guard.
He suddenly picked up speed, and when he was about to reach the guard, he made a nimble shift and brushed past the guard to dash outside.
He was about to reach the door when another figure stepped in front of him and held him firmly in his grip.
The two Blood guards looked at each other and a wry smile slowly appeared on their pale faces, “Another meal for tonight.”
The door was closed again.
Through the doorway, they could hear the desperate wails of the player and the gnawing sounds of the Bloods.
[Ding! Player death X1, 42 players remaining currently.]
No matter how desperate and fearful the player’s back in the room were, they held back from crying out again.
They stiffly pulled at the corners of their mouths and tried to raise their heads to force back their tears.
They couldn’t cry! They would die if they did!
