Because of the round trip and the time spent in the witch’s house, the sun had already set by the time they came out of the boa’s mouth.
The four elves were still dazed and hadn’t yet come back to their senses.
The forest was dangerous. The boa was already a threat, so if something else that could swallow the four elves in one gulp appeared, the elf population would go extinct.
Bai Lixin then led the four elves to the cave.
With Dijia around, he had no need to use the light of the flashlight for defense
Countless light elements condensed into small bright spots all over the cave. The light was gentle, and not blinding, and the brightness was just right, like small fireflies jumping around.
The Night Elves were still in the spring, as expected.
When they sensed someone approaching, the elves in the spring jumped out and hung like bats on the top of the roof cave, keeping a close eye on the people below.
The diseased elves looked at the potions in Bai Lixin’s hands with collective fascination as he took the golden potions from his backpack.
Bai Lixin sat by the spring water and poured a bottle of the potion into the spring water.
The spring water was murky one second and gold the next.
The diseased Night Elves rushed up and they all jumped into the spring.
The spring couldn’t accommodate all the elves so Bai Lixin found a clean stone to sit down on, and yelled at the Night Elves in the spring “One soak is enough, give others a chance.”
The jubilant Night Elves looked at Bai Lixin dully. They looked at the golden spring, then at the diseased elves waiting for them, and finally walked out one after the other, tails between their legs.
The Night Elves entered in groups and rejoiced.
Although they were diseased, the forest princess had been assisting in the distribution of the toxins, so they were not completely insane.
Bai Lixin yanked Dijia’s sleeve and pulled the antidote ingredient list from his backpack.
Dijia immediately understood. With a snap of his fingers, dozens of light elements converged in front of Bai Lixin to provide illumination.
Bai Lixin looked at Dijia’s fingers in amazement. “Bones can also be snapped?”
Dijia: “Bones can do a lot of things.”
“For example?”
Dijia remained silent.
For example, some kind of intermittent exercise?
???? What am I thinking about? Am I out of my mind?
Bai Lixin had no idea what was going on in Dijia’s head, but he kept looking at him with eager eyes “Mmm? For instance?”
“For instance, magic,” a flame appeared on Dijia’s bony fingers.
“Oh,” Bai Lixin nodded, his gaze fixed on the potion recipe in his hand.
Dijia: “……”
So your Master is not as useful as a potion recipe? This disciple no longer appears to be interested.
It was Dijia’s first time as a master, and he was nervous. Was this the start of a rebellion against the master?
Bai Lixin had quickly read the steps to make the antidote while Dijia panicked and was at a loss.
Bai Lixin could not help but praise that witch after reading the paper.
She was really a genius in terms of magic potion manufacturing.
If she hadn’t been discriminated against, her achievements would have been even greater, and these Night Elves might not have ended up in this situation.
But, isn’t that karma?
Bai Lixin glanced at Dijia, who stood beside him.
Although it was unintentional, Dijia’s act of kindness back then had helped him many years later.
There is no telling what would have happened to the ostracized witch if Dijia hadn’t stepped in, and of course, there would be no magic potion now.
Bai Lixin closed his eyes and set the potion recipe aside. In his mind, he began to visualize the potion-making process.
Bai Lixin unconsciously raised his fingers as if measuring the potion to aid his imagination.
Dijia watched in silence.
Bai Lixin repeated the process a dozen times before summoning the crystal ball.
The crystal ball had reached the highest level, so he didn’t even have to take it out of the backpack when using it.
In his mind, he began to deduce the process of making the antidote once more.
At the last step, the golden potion began to flow from the middle of Bai Lixin’s hand.
The potion poured out in a steady stream, and it quickly spread from Bai Lixin’s hand and flowed on the stone cave floor.
The potion continued to flow until it reached the stream.
Just like that, the potion flowed along the stream in an instant, and it wasn’t long before it reached the forest.
The golden veins gradually extended and spread out like tree branches in the dark night sky.
——————-
“Your Highness, come and see, what is this?”
Next to the stream where the bonfire raged, the Night Elves, who should have been dancing, looked in at the golden water in amazement.
The bored Elf King approached, and his eyes were tinged with wonder.
He flew into the air using magic and marveled at the golden stream, which appeared to be a miracle.
Somehow, he felt that this golden stream was connected to Bai Lixin.
Just when he was about to land, he suddenly heard the elves below him exclaim.
“Oh my, your body is glowing!”
“You too, you’re glowing as well.”
“Why don’t you have a shadow?”
“How come you don’t have a shadow?”
The elf king felt reinvigorated, and when he looked down, he noticed that his body was glowing with a golden light. His body gradually became transparent in the golden light.
“I remember. I think I got the disease; am I not infected?”
“Me too, are we dead? Is this heaven?”
“But this is still our home.”
“It’s the Elf King.”
The crowd turned their heads in unison to look at the Elf King suspended in the air. Just as he was about to speak, all of the Night Elves transformed into a golden light that flew in the same direction.
The golden lights flashed like meteors through the forest.
Animals looked up apprehensively, as they witnessed this magical sight.
——————
“Ahhhhh!” Dijia and Bai Lixin’s attention was drawn to a sharp cry. When the two turned around, they saw the four elves slumped on the ground.
The four Night Elves had come to their senses and were staring at the scene in horror.
However, the diseased Night Elves did not pay attention to them because the potion was now in abundance. They were no longer confined to the bath, as some drank the more concentrated potion while squatting by the stream.
The four elves stiffly turned their heads and saw Bai Lixin.
Their terrified expressions eased a little then, but their pupils contracted again the next second.
“Dead-dead-dead……” Undead!
Bai Lixin frowned.
Woof woof woof?
Did the panic turn the night elves into dogs?
Under the panicked elves’ gaze, a diseased elf with a slightly larger body than the others jumped in front of them.
The elves only saw a huge shadow fall over them, and a monster reached out to grab a sip of the golden potion flowing past them.
The golden potion dripped down from the “monster’s” mouth and onto the elf leader’s clothes.
With a slight tilt of his head, the elf leader could make out the monster’s Adam’s apple.
He cried out in horror and attempted to draw the dagger from his waist.
Unfortunately, Dijia and Bai Lixin had taken away the dagger beforehand and the elf leader could only stretch out his hand and use his sharp nails, “go away, ugly monster!”
He was screaming when countless golden streaks of light suddenly flew in from outside.
They flew into the monsters one by one.
As he screamed, the elf leader heard a familiar low angry voice, “Who are you calling ugly? You’re the ugly one.”
The elf leader stiffly looked up at the huge monster in front of him and noticed the other party’s arrogant, fierce eyes on him.
This gaze, it felt a bit like the king’s, Ah.
Even the voice was like that of the king.
Bai Lixin, who was sitting on a rock watching the show, reached out and touched the pearl necklace with one hand. This time, the system did not inform him that he was unable to heal.
[Ding! Healing target detected, emergency healing begins now. Healing level increased to lv7.]
[Healing level increased to lv8.]
[Healing level increased tolv9.]
It wasn’t just the four elves that were panicking; all the other diseased elves were confused except the elf king.
To the shocked gaze of the elves, their lesions were healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
