Chapter Twenty (Character Counts: 753)

The Stand-in didn’t have much luggage to pack. He didn’t bring any clothes bought by the President. He simply stuffed his textbooks into the chest and cleaned the room.

However, he carefully sorted it out little by little. Unexpectedly, he finally realized that he had a lot of memories in this home in the middle of the night.

After packing up, he came to the living room, but the lights were off and the TV was on.

The soccer match on TV is not over yet, but the President is already curled up on the sofa and asleep.

The Stand-in is helpless. At a time like this, other domineering presidents probably go to the hotel to have fun and start a new relationship. How come on his side, just like a little puppy that no one wants?

The Stand-in covered the President with a quilt and sat in front of the sofa for a while, just like the night when the President was drunk.

When the President woke up the next day, the breakfast on the table was still hot, but the Stand-in was no longer there.

“Go where I’m supposed to go.”

“You are not allowed to leave!” The President took a step forward and took the Stand-in’s hand.

The Stand-in said helplessly, “The contract has been terminated.”

“The termination of the contract is canceled. If you dare to take another step, I will sue you for breach of contract!”

The Stand-in was rendered speechless.

The President repeated it again and said, “I’ll do what I said.”

The Stand-in sighed and could only walk back: “Why didn’t you say that before I collected my luggage?”

As a result, the Stand-in just moved for three minutes before returning to the same place.

The President was probably stimulated by the decision of the Stand-in to leave decisively. He reversed the appearance of the poor puppy last night, sat down on the sofa, crossed his feet, and said, “I’m not going to work.”

Stand-in: ?

President: “I’m not an elite, I’m just a loser who doesn’t want to go to work.”

Stand-in: “What about the company?”

President: “It’s best if it goes bankrupt. I’ll go beg and forget it.”

Stand-in: “It’s not easy to be a beggar these days.”

President: “Then I will go naked/loan.”

Stand-in: ?

The President said he didn’t want to go to work and he really didn’t go. After breakfast, he lay on the sofa and didn’t move.

There is no way for the Stand-in to take him, so he contacts the good secretary, and lets someone send the important documents home in a while, while he packs his backpack and prepares to go out.

Upon perceiving that the Stand-in was leaving, the President got up vigilantly: “Where are you going? If you dare to take a step out of the house, I will break your leg!”

Stand-in opens the door.

“Don’t you dare!”

The Stand-in turned his head and said calmly, “Do you dare not let me go out to class?”

The President was terrified and also really didn’t dare.
