Chapter 2325 Start a Fire

Shao Yin wanted to take out the bottle of medicinal wine meant for the child. Huang Mian immediately went back on his word. He snatched the bag from her and said, "A child only needs a little bit. I can only give you half a bottle."

"Are you still human! That's not what you said earlier!" Shao Yin hugged Xia Hai and said agitatedly.

Even though she had another type of medicinal wine with her, she did not want to let the Huang family's father and son pair take advantage of her for nothing. She knew very well that the contents of the smaller bottle which Qiao Mei gave her was not on the same level as the medicinal wine which they wanted. She must make sure not to let such a good thing fall into their hands!

Huang Mian did not care. He took out a bottle of medicinal wine and walked forward to pour some into the child's mouth. After drinking half a bottle, the child already looked much better.

"See how well he looks now? Anyway, you can bring the child to the Xia family later. They will give you more," Huang Mian said greedily.

Huang Zhong quickly opened a bottle and drank it. It felt as if he had been reborn and he could breath so much better. He even felt as if he had become younger by more than 20 years! n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"This medicine is really as marvelous as they say!" Huang Zhong said excitedly as he looked at the rest of the medicinal wine.

Their family actually did not need so much medicinal wine, or rather, they had always only intended to give the medicine to the men. It did not matter how sick the women were. As long as they could preserve the Huang family's bloodline, all the men could just get new wives for themselves if needed.

Huang Mian and Huang Zhong packed their things and prepared to leave. Shao Yin lowered her head and heaved a sigh of relief. She and Xia Hai were finally safe...

However, Huang Mian had never intended to let them off just like that. He raised his hand and landed a forceful blow on Shao Yin's neck. Shao Yin fainted with the child in her arms. The two men then took out the gasoline they had prepared in advance and poured it around Xia Xing's house before starting a fire.

The raging fire instantly engulfed the entire house. This had always been part of their plan so that later on, even if the Xia family found out that they had been here, there would be no physical evidence to be found. They would start a rumor that Shao Yin had been bullied by the Xia family and felt totally heartbroken. In the end, she decided to commit suicide with her child.

As long as there was no physical evidence, they need not be afraid at all. In any case, the enmity between the Huang family and the Xia family could never be resolved in this lifetime. It was the same whether they did this or not.

Qiao Mei was very nervous as she sat in the car. She could see everything that was happening in the house. The car was parked too far away, so even if she used the vines to protect Shao Yin and the child, she did not have enough energy to control them long enough to do what she needed to do. This was because she had just realized that there was a gas tank in the house.

The fire in the house would soon reach the area where the gas tank was located. Once the gas tank exploded, the consequences would be unimaginable. Xia Wen and the guards lying in ambush nearby had already started heading for the house.

Qiao Mei immediately drove closer to Xia Xing's house. As she expected, Xia Wen and his team were fighting with the Huang family's people at the road intersection. The Huang family's father and son pair were not total fools and they had used their last bit of money to hire some thugs.

"I'll go and help them! You stay in the car!" After saying that, Xia He jumped out of the car and joined the fight.

Qiao Mei quietly got out and circled around the side of the house. She sprinkled a few vine seeds on the ground and hastened their growth. However, these vines were still plants after all and it got very difficult once they got close to the source of the fire.

She perspired profusely as she concentrated on releasing all her energy to focus on using the vines to turn on the taps in the house and to pull the gas tank out of the house. By the time she was done, Qiao Mei was totally drenched in sweat.
