Side Story 3 (4)
He was pleased by this sensation that seemed to fill his body and mind. He chuckled lightly and said, “Can’t stand steady? Let me support you.”
She knew that his laughter contained a hint of mockery, so she forcefully patted his shoulder and said, “You’re still laughing? It’s all your fault!”
He supported her body and softly responded, “Hmm, it’s all my fault.”
He said, “It’s all my fault.”
She buried her face in his embrace and after a while, she let out a cold snort. Then she placed her hand on his arm again and leaned on him as they walked towards the bathroom.
She exerted almost all her strength on him, squinting her eyes as she asked, “What time is it now?”
“It’s four in the morning.”
Su Qiuge didn’t expect to wake up so early, and she seemed somewhat annoyed. She pursed her lips and said, “I’ll sleep a little more after I freshen up.”
He lowered his gaze and gently gazed at her. “Hmm.”
Then, as they walked, he asked, “Is there anywhere you want to go?”
She clearly understood that he was asking about their honeymoon destination.
Su Qiuge hadn’t thought about it yet, but she had become somewhat interested in Iceland.
That place at the end of the world, with its lava and glaciers, was said to resemble the surface of the moon.
If they went there, it would surely be very romantic.
Aren’t girls these days supposed to dislike staying in the kitchen?
With this thought in mind, he raised his lips slightly and said, “If you find it boring, you can go watch TV or play with your phone. I’ll cook the noodles quickly.”
She couldn’t stand his “gentle and virtuous” appearance, which made her like him more and more, and even made her feel that she should be nicer to him.
So she hugged him from behind, pressed her face against his, and whispered, “Xiao Xingxing is so good, I want to stay by your side and not do anything else.”
She enjoyed the feeling of being close to him, regardless of what they were doing or where they were.
He seemed slightly taken aback by this nickname, and then as if remembering something, he smirked and teased, “Shouldn’t you call me ‘husband’?”
She was momentarily startled, and then recalled the scene from yesterday when he bit her earlobe and forced her to call him husband. Her face instantly turned red, and the hint of affection she had just started to feel for him disappeared in an instant.
She lightly kicked him with her foot. “I’ll call you whatever I want, what’s it to you?”
A low laugh escaped from his chest, and then he turned around and planted a kiss on her forehead, whispering, “Fine, I’ll listen to you. So, you’ll stay by my side?”
The kiss made her blush, and she fell silent, watching the faint morning light shining through, casting a soft glow on his slender figure. A sense of inexplicable satisfaction washed over her.
The noodles boiled and released steam, making the early morning at four o’clock appear exceptionally beautiful.
After she finished breakfast, she originally didn’t want to sleep, but he saw that she was still in a daze, even yawning, so he put in considerable effort to coax her into bed, much like coaxing a child.
She revealed a pair of watery almond-shaped eyes, peeking out from under the covers, looking at him with an unintentional display of attachment that brought joy to his heart.
“Go to sleep.”
He leaned down and placed a kiss on her forehead.
