Chapter 19: Throw her down and see if she can fall to her death
A compassionate and gentle person didn’t align with Wu Ping’s preferences. Unwilling to wait until his return to the apocalyptic world, he raised his gaze.
Hey, why the change in personnel?
Who are you?
That sounds amusing.
Cao Ke and the others grasped this truth. Then, the bloodshed commenced. Some put up resistance. Wu Ping initiated with a statement. Someone else’s slap might result in a red and swollen face, but this was the kind that could burst a head instantly.
It was about half past midnight. Wu Ping contemplated and surveyed the tragedy in this modest building. Corpses were scattered everywhere, and blood formed rivers.
Though he goes by the name “kill,” why were they all victims?
Oh well, forget it. It was all waste anyway, and there were anti-bones, so keeping them was useless, squandering his resources.
“No... my apologies.”
Cao Ke and the others seemed a bit remorseful. They appeared to realise the extent of their actions. After venting their rage, they killed them all.
“It doesn’t matter if they die. They’ll die. Isn’t there anyone alive up there?”
“I’ll leave it to you, and this zombie, soak it in formalin for me. It can’t be broken!”
Cao Ke nodded, “Okay.”
Wu Ping rose from the ground and leapt onto the roof of a high-rise building. He couldn’t wait any longer. On the rooftop, he took out three and a half spirit stones from the storage bag and placed them in front of him.
Wu Ping manipulated the spiritual power in his body, and soul-refining streamers danced with the wind. Inhuman roars echoed across the campus, emanating from the souls of hundreds of zombies and even a tyrant’s soul.
Cao Ke and the others trembled in fear at the sound. They were too familiar with it. They had encountered these creatures all the way here. Simultaneously, they were curious about what Wu Ping was doing.
“Did I give you face? Understand that you’re a person now?”
Wu Ping had a faint smile on his face. The women hesitated to respond.
“No, do you think I’m a good talker? Or is it unclear enough?”
“What?”
“Am I negotiating with you?”
“No, no, no. I’m telling you, Xu Feifei, what floor is this on?”
“Tenth floor.”
“On the tenth floor. I wonder if falling from here would be lethal. Let me take a look. Those who were making a fuss earlier are getting on my nerves.”
“Good!”
Xu Feifei grabbed the woman’s leg, held her upside down, and threw her out of the window. A few others kowtowed, begged for mercy, promised not to repeat their actions, and even offered to do whatever Wu Ping asked. It seemed they were willing to use their bodies to please him.
Wu Ping found it repulsive. They were dirty, smelly, and emaciated. What did he make of this?
Wu Ping lay on the windowsill after the remaining individuals begged for mercy. “Look, this is human willpower. This is the tenth floor. You can survive for a while if you fall. Who doesn’t want to live?”
“Right?”
He turned around, facing the crowd with open hands.
“Life is the most important thing. We must ensure equality between men and women. Just because you’re a woman doesn’t mean you can’t do tasks typically assigned to men.”
“But don’t let me hear such things again. I understand if you’re sick or something, but if anyone harms me for no reason in the future, I’ll release the sky lantern with her.”
“Of course, I won’t covet your bodies. At the very least, I’ll make you live like human beings with dignity. I hope you can find your own worth.”
“I might be a bit more ruthless than the one named Xu Ziming.”
