Chapter 59: Messiah of the Mutated

Every member of the Royal family was given a servant who would do their bidding and would remain loyal to them when they came of age. These servants would also signify the position of the Royal family members in the court.

And while that useless piece of work Damien was given an elf, he was given a dwarf instead.

"N—No," Dian shook his head like a rattle in the hands of a baby. "I didn't fall asleep, you—your majesty. I just...I just dozed off. You know how I am, right? As soon as I close my eyes, I will just end up falling unconscious. I think—I think I need to see a healer." He added very seriously.

Emiliano listened to his servant with a blank expression. He then leaned down and whispered, "There is no need to go to a healer for this sort of thing, I can help you with this on my own."

"Yo—You can, your majesty? I knew it. You are so wise and kind, of course, you know how to deal with this situation of mine," Dian spoke with a wide smile on his ugly, puffy face. "What do I need to do, to stop this, Your Majesty?"

A wicked smile etched slowly on Emiliano's face as he raised his brows and asked, "You really want to get this treated, Dian?"

"Of course, your majesty. I —Dian wants to serve you better, if I get better then I will certainly do a much better job."

"Then all you need to do is go to a place," answered Emiliano.

"What place?"

"A graveyard," Emiliano sneered as he raised his leg and kicked Dian. He sent him flying ten feet away from where he stood as he growled, "As long as you are inside a coffin and six feet down the ground, I will be able to get a new servant who will serve me better. The magical binding that my father placed would disappear with your death."

As the servants were bound to their masters by a magical contract, such that they would never be able to betray them, Emiliano couldn't send Dian away.

As these beastmen had no place in the current world, Emiliano had promised them a prominent one in the one which he would soon create. And the wonders it had brought him were just —a chef's kiss.

"Call me Freddy, your majesty," said the beastman as he morphed back to his human self and adorned a new set of clothes by smashing the magical orb. "I would rather die than be called by that name anymore."

"Now, now, Freddy. There is no need to show such a frown to your king," Emiliano said to the man. "What brings you here?" He asked with his arms crossed behind his back.

"We have found the Seventh Palace, Your Majesty," answered Freddy with a bow. "The palace of the seventh ruler, the dragon of time — it has been unearthed."

Emiliano's face went slack but then a look of pure glee spread on his face. "Finally— FINALLY. HAHAHAHA"

It took three days for Damien to return to the guild with Samuel and Xavier. Thus, by the time they arrived at the guild, it was already Saturday.

"Are you sure that you want to follow me?" Damien looked at the stead who hopped down the carriage and paused in the middle of looking around the town. He turned and raised his head before pulling the ugly purple pouch that he was carrying on his back.

Apparently, it was given to him by his mama rabbit.

"I am sure, Damien," replied Maui with a smile on his face as he fluttered his wings nervously. He said to him, "Though I am a bit anxious as the steads are not welcomed, I want to follow you."

"Father!"
