"I knew you would come," he said, stepping down the throne, and the sound of his heavy footsteps echoed in the praying hall. "Wistoria."

Wistoria stared at the man who dared to take her name without using the honorifics.

"Andres," Wistoria contemptuously sneered at the man. "Don't you think that it is quite late for you to start praying?"

Andres came to a stop in front of the throne and burst out laughing. He said to Wistoria, "Hahaha. You really know how to joke. Me? Praying? Hah!" He brought his head down and looked at Wistoria before saying to her, "The only one who needs to pray here is you and the one you need to pray to is me."

"You bastard," Xavier took a violent step towards Andres but Wistoria raised an arm and pushed him back.

"What are you trying to do, Andres?" Wistoria asked with a glare. "You better answer me without any lies or else..." she trailed off as she unsheathed her claws.

"You are treating me way too harshly," Andres said to her. He stepped forward and splayed his hand on the side where the priests were tied and gagged. They were tied to the ceiling like smoked hams.

He said to Wistoria, "We are just playing around with them a little. Do you know what they said when I entered the temple? That a beast man of my kind is not allowed to pray in the main hall."

"My kind! Hahaha!" Andres guffawed once again. "You should have seen how quickly he changed his tune when I showed him my skills and nearly peed himself when he begged me."

"You are about to kill an entire crowd of innocent people, and you dare say that you are not in the wrong?" Levi couldn't believe the nonsense that was coming out of the mouth of the man.

"Kill? Me?" he pointed to himself with an innocent expression before shaking his head. "This is not murder, no...no. This is a purge! A cleansing!" Andres told them in a loud voice.

"Those fools who are standing outside pray to the Beast God every day; they will travel far and wide to pray to him, but when their backs are turned—they would beat, torment, and even kill low-ranking beastmen."

"Should they not be kind if they are praying and telling others that they are the servants of Lord Helion?" Andres questioned with a wild glint in his eyes. "But look at the tragedy in front of you. I am doing the job of God! Cleansing and cleaning these bastards who rob the rights of others."

With his hands spread wide, he stared down at Wistoria and said to her with a jeer, "These people, they only tout about their rights and positions while forgetting about others. I am purging this world and saving it from fools like these." he pointed at the priests.

"Don't talk like you are fucking right," snapped Levi. "You speak as if you have never harmed anyone, how many lives have you taken for the sake of earning money and running your guild?"

"When did I say that I was in the right, hmm?" Andres turned his head to one side as he sneered at Levi. "We are talking about absolute control here, as long as this sweet thing is in my hands, everyone has to bow down to me."

Xavier's eyes flashed with annoyance as he pounced at Andres but before he could reach him, someone came hurtling and tackled him back down on the floor.

"There is no way you are getting through us," Ollie said to Xavier as the two of them came down on the floor harshly. "We would have loved to show you the rise of the glory of the dark age. But since you don't know what is good for you.. You might as well die!"

He let out a roar before running towards Xavier with full speed.
