It was the first time he had seen the Director since the day before he was admitted to the academy.

When Almark pulled the heavy door and entered the headmaster office, Yorog was in the middle of some paperwork, looking over some documents. He looked up and saw Almark, then quickly looked down at the documents again.

"Oh, here you are, Almark."

He runs his pen over the documents as he said this ,

" What do you think of life at the academy?"

Yes, it’s very nice here . ."

"I see. I'm glad to hear that."

Yorog is still working busily with documents had no lookied at Almark.

"I've heard. you've had a go though a lot of thing already, haven't you?"

"Yes."

Almark nodded with a wry smile.

"I've been getting reports from the teachers ."

Although Yorog's tone was not harsh, Almark felt a little nervous. He wondered what kind of reports were being given to him.

I would like to hear it from you. What have you went through at the academy, and what did you think about it?"

“I understand.”

Almark told Yorog what he had been doing. About the classes, the lessons, the teachers, the magic, the failure of the light magic and the meditation training. About Wendy's tears and their talk . And today's martial arts class. He briefly talked about all of these things with his point of view of the situation

Yorog listened without interrupting, occasionally nodding or letting out a chuckle.

When he finished listening, Yorog put down his pen for the first time and looked at Almark, and said

“Sounds like you're having a productive time.'

"Yes."

Almark nodded.

"I'm not very good at magic, though."

"But what did teacher Yilmaz say about that?"

"Don't be too anxious,"

He nodded.

Trust his words,. Take time to learn and think about magic. , and time with your friends. Both are important for you t in order to become a magician. Don't ignore that .

"Yes, sir."

Are you all right?"

"I'm fine.

“You have trained well. I am surprised that at your age you could use dragon fire and then walk home the same day.”

“I have been assisted by teachers . For the past ten days, I have been helped by everyone. Wendy, Morgen, and the others. I couldn't have accomplished It on my own."

That's the way of magic. You must never forget it. By the way, ......"

Yorog changed the subject.

"Do you have enough money?"

"Oh, yes. I don't no use it."

The school provides students with food, clothing, and roof - uniform and clothes, daily meals, and a dormitory room - free of charge, but in addition, the school gives students a small amount of money each month to buy daily necessities and other items. They all make do with it and buy sweets and other things in town on their days off, but some of them also receive a considerable amount of money from their homes

“Your father has asked me to take care of you. If there is anything you need, don't hesitate to tell me."

"Yes, sir."

Almark was beginning to wonder why he had been summoned by the headmaster .

He asked, "Well, whu I was called here today ......?"”

Yorog smiled and said, “We already finished ".

He told Almark to go back .

The first time he went to the headmaster office , he was not sure what will happen , but as he left the headmaster office he was greeted by Wendy and the others, who looked worried. When Almark was told by Bowen to go to the headmaster's office, Morgen, who happened to be nearby, heard what he said, and told other about it, and then Almark really went to the headmaster office. It seemed that Almark was going to be punished by the headmaster , and in worst case he might even be expelled from the academy .

Almark laughed bitterly and said that there would be no punishment, and thanked his friends for worrying about him so much.

This kind of goodwill, without gaming for for profit, is something that is rarely seen in the North. People in the North would equate this kind of goodwill with "stupidity" or "weakness."

But he has been helped by his friends till this day. Thanks to this goodwill, he has been received . And today. He has been able to repay the favor in his own way. that was exist in the north.

Seeing Wendy and Morgen patting their chests, Almark felt as if he had finally become a member of class..
