Chapter 1 - Sky, I need a job

A vast office with a white and black interior which looked stunning. Black signifiying strength and White for softness. The combination of both was impeccable.

On a White chair, a lady sitting like a duchess wearing a Purple suite looking gorgeous and aloof and working through the different files intently with an indifferent expression.

Sky Harley, heiress of the Harley company which works in different business industries. Its nearly a year Sky took over her Dad's position in the company. Many doubted her skill and management because she looked petite and bland when she was appointed.

But she obeyed her father to work and to leave her past behind. She worked hard for the progress and welfare of the company and for its hard-working employees. Sooner Harley reached new heights of glory which shut the mouths of disbelievers.

Sky informed her assistant Lilly through an intercom to arrange a meeting with the executives in half an hour regarding the upcoming project. She went near the coffee machine in her office to brew it for herself.

Then she stood by the floor to ceiling window seeing afar, drinking her coffee and thinking about something without any emotion.

Her mobile ringing tone returned her back to reality from her daze. She took her phone and stupefied after seeing the caller's name. She never thought he would call her one day. She picked up the call and sounded normal but couldn't conceal the happiness in her eyes.

She answered him, "Hey Andy! long time!"

Unexpected to Sky instinct, his voice was rather dull, "Hi Sky! How are you?"

"I'm Good. You say, what happened? why do you sound so low? Is everything alright?"

Sky cursed herself for being good to him all the time and being attentive.

With a down spirit, he asked "Sky, I need a job. Can you help me out to join your company or anywhere else?"

Sky never expected to see this type of request from him. She always saw him happy, helping others and enjoying life.

She gathered herself and asked, "Of course I will help you. What type of job are you looking for? We are not into any Pharmacy related industries."

"I'm fine with anything which feeds my family without selling the house."

His reply made her shudder, she took a long time to calm herself to answer but Andy thought she wouldn't help him and he said, "It's okay if you can't help me out. I will not mind it Sky."

Sky replied unhurriedly to him saying, "Shut up and meet me in my office whenever you can. Got it?"
