Chapter 13 - His mom always loathed Sky

"Hey, What are you looking at? You should go home now. It's late. Drive safe."

Sky nodded, "Good night!" and boarded the car and left to her house.

Harley mansion was on the other side of the city and she went to drop him towards the other side. There was a long way to go.

She recollected her today's events with a faint smile. She was happy that she could be of some help to Andy.

She also knew that everything would change from the next day. 'A CEO and a Secretary', 'an employer and an employee'. She didn't know how would be the upcoming days But she wanted to spend her day without superior and subordinate relations with him the moment she saw themselves laughing heartily in the elevator.

Traffic was high in the city and it took her double the time just to reach only halfway, she decided to stay in her apartment for the night which was also near to office and proceeded.

Andy's apartment

"Mom, I got a good job. I will be working as CEO's secretary from tomorrow", Andy called his mother as soon as he reached his flat to inform.

"It's good news. Work hard son", Elderly woman's voice resounded.

"Mom, Do you remember Sky? She helped me to get this job and I will be working as her secretary." He tried to be cautious when he spoke about Sky and he was scared that his mother may object to work under her.

Because his mom always loathed Sky for no apparent reason.

But time always teaches the person to judge the situation as the saying goes 'Hard time teaches us the most valuable things'.

She sighed, "She is a good kid, She helped you, don't slack at work. work hard."

Andy was perplexed, "Mom you detested her always. Aren't you?"

"Andy, You are right, I thought she was with you for ulterior motives but isn't it a slap on my face", she took a deep breath and continued, "You know everything happened with us. Who we thought as friends left us when needed. She is helping you when nobody is ready to stand by us. We should acknowledge it."

"Mom, don't worry. Everything will be okay soon. Have food on time. I will come and see you soon. Take care"

He hung up, heaved a sigh of relief and went to bed.

Andy's first day at the office.

He arrived early as mentioned by assistant Lilly. As he reached the top floor near the CEO's office, he saw a new desk outside which was arranged. He got to know it's his desk.

He had a laptop, intercom and other office materials. when he was looking through them, Lilly reached her desk and a fresh smile on her face, "Good morning Andy, you are early."

"Good morning Assistant Lilly."
