Chapter 89 - Why is he so extravagant?

Then two rows of Harley guards entered the conference room. They made a way for a person to reach Jai and Sky. A man in a brown suit entered and strode towards them.

He had a faint smile on his face. Reports identified him immediately.

"Chairman Harley!" Many greeted him.

"Why is he so extravagant?" Sky whispered to Jai.

Jai just smiled at her and took a step and greeted David and shook his hand. "Chairman Harley!"

Sky followed Jai but just made a little bow. "Chairman Harley."

David squinted his eyes and looked at her distant behavior. He kept his hand on her head and rubbed dotingly.

Sky widened her eyes in shock. and stared at him. If she were to answer reporters as Jai's sister or manager or an employee, it doesn't make sense chairman of the Harley be close to her.

' You aren't going to announce I'm your daughter, right? ' She thought to herself.

David saw her expression and her lips curled into a mischievous arc. Sky alerted herself and spoke a little loudly so that reports could hear.

"Chairman Harley, Let's finish the last event. This way please." Sky pulled his hand down and stepped forward to lead them.

"What's the hurry?" David held her arm and pulled her beside him.

"You wanted to know her right?" David looked at reporters. Reporters again started questioning.

Sky who was standing next to David, "Dad, you can't do this to me." Sky whispered by clenching her teeth to controlling her chin movement.

"She is the best employee at Harley. Since she is a huge fan of Mr.Jai Barton, we let her fulfill her wish by assisting him in today's event. Such a silly girl" David finished and laughed.

All the reports broke in laughter. Sky face turned red but she also felt relaxed thinking about her dad just played with her.

"Let's concentrate on the event, Hopefully, you guys won't make it difficult for my best employee." David told them indirectly not to publish anything about her.

Reports respected David Harley, so they agreed to his request. Then Peter led them to the venue.

"Dad, you are soo sly." Sky glared at her father.

"Don't worry, Chairman Harley, I will be kind to your best employee." Jai poked fun.

"Brother Jai!" Sky pouted.

"Hahaha okay you guys carry on, I will leave now." David spoke.

"What? Dad, You just came now." Sky was speechless.

David patted on her shoulders, "I have a flight. Bye.", then he fleed away. Sky could only just sigh.

They reached the outlet which was across the Conference hall and Jai and Vice-president completed the ribbon-cutting and looked around in the outlet. During that time Sky explained to Jai about what Kira did.

Reports waited outside the outlet to interview Jai. As soon as Jai exited, Reporters surrounded him. Jai again pulled Sky behind him to shield her. Guards created a safe distance between them and reports.

"Please ask one after other. Mr.Jai Barton will answer you." A guard told reports aloud and controlled them.

After a few simple questions, they asked about the morning incident.

"Mr.Barton, we have watched your shoot video, we have no doubt about your professionalism but What do you say about Kira's statement?"
