Chapter 118 - Am I looking so bad?

AG always picked a handful of clients for his designs. He never designed for money. Many celebrities failed to please him even with lots of gifts, money, and whatnot. He treated each design like his own child and he had a habit of framing the picture of his clients in his clothes.

"Little Harley, You are incredible at your age, I'm just a lazy old man." AG laughed at his own remarks.

Sky snapped out of her daze and introduced herself, "Mr.Gonzale, I'm Sky Harley. I'm pleased to meet you." Sky shook her hand.

"Little Harley, Isn't Mr.Gonzale sound too distant. Uncle Alex would do. I don't mind pretty girl calling me Alex." AG held her hand and led them inside.

Sky was so touched by his gesture. ' Why reporters always said AG is a cold, rude man? He is such a warm person. ' She thought to herself.

"Then I will call you Uncle Alex." Sky replied with a smile on her face.

David looked at them and shook his head resignedly. ' She is clearly meeting him for the first time, she admires him even if she is not interested in fashion. Wasn't I was a good businessman when I first met her?'

David's face turned dark thinking about how Sky reacted when she first saw him. Sky who went with AG noticed her Dad was not coming behind them hence turned behind and called him out.

"Dad, What are you doing there? Come on." Sky eyes looked bright and shiny with the light reflection and lips curled up forming a beautiful arc.

David felt content looking at her, He shook his head to disperse the thoughts and went towards them. They sat backside the house, in the garden and chit chatted for some time. Sky asked her all questions which read on magazines or online portals and concluded as rumors.

Then Simmy brought her to the Changing room and handed her a royal blue colored dress. Sky quickly changed and came out.

David and AG stood with a surprising look. Simmy just smiled standing behind AG. Sky looked at them and confused whether they liked it or not.

She was wearing an off-shoulder royal blue below knee length gown which showed her delicate fair collarbone. It had a delicate lace, beads and small diamonds detailed on the upper body. Plain circular skirt. It fitted her so perfectly that accentuated her curves.

"David, Your  daughter is very beautiful." AG said in a very low voice to David.

David nodded. ' She looks beautiful than her mom '

David whispered something in Simmy's ear. Latter nodded her head and went towards Sky. Sky noticed them whispering to each other and though she was not looking good. When she saw herself in the mirror, She wasn't confident about how she looked.

"Dad, Uncle Alex, Why are you not saying anything? Am I looking so bad?" Sky bit her lip and asked.

"Little Harley, Go and try another one." AG said and sat on his chair, David followed him and sat without saying anything.

When Simmy came near her, Sky questioned her, "Aunt Simmy, Am I not looking good?"

Sky sounded sad. She liked the dress very much, even if they say it doesn't suit her, she wanted to keep it.
