Chapter 144 - What's so funny?

"They will not ask you." Jai consoled.

"Okay." Sky went back to her table and saw her mobile in Peters' hand. His and Sam's surprised look.

"How can you take a girl's phone... with... out... permission?" Sky saw the unknown number call was received on her mobile and Peter waved in front of her.

Sky badly wanted to dig a hole to hide in than to see their reaction. Sky passed the phone to Peter back, "Brother wants to say something to you."

Sky didn't want to sit and eat anymore. She took her bag and flee off without even paying the bill.

When she reached the car, the car was unlocked. She turned back and saw Sam was leaning on the door of the restaurant wearing his shades.

Sky slid inside and took a few deep breaths to calm herself. She startled by the sudden knock on the window.

She rolled it down and took the phone from Peter, "Brother Jai" Sky's voice was very low and it sounded more like whispering.

"Sky, Don't worry, Peter will solve it." Jai's voice was gentle.

"Hmm" Sky didn't know what else to say.

"Take care." Jai hung up the call. He knew she was feeling awkward. Sky returned the phone to Peter without raising her head.

"Ms.Sky, I will give your mobile later." Peter controlled his laughter and went to his car.

Sky bit her lip, again took a few deep breaths to calm herself.

Sam sat on the driver seat and passed the water bottle to Sky before setting off. After a few minutes, Sky realized Sam was trying hard not to laugh.

"What's so funny?" Sky grunted.

Sam laughed out loud. It was her first time seeing him laugh heartily and loud but she felt like strangling him.

"Okay, I'm sorry. But did you really think by switching off your mobile, you could solve it?" Sam asked in between laughing.

Sky ignored him and didn't bother. Of course, she knew she couldn't solve like that. It's just that she didn't know what to do right at that moment.

"From next time, say it to me, we will solve." Sam controlled himself and told her.

Sky glared at him, "You mean there will be next time, again?"

Sam burst into laughter looking at her animated expression and asked after a few minutes.

"Do you want to go anywhere? Your brother asked us to distract your mood."

"Oh!" Sky replied and looked outside. She remembered she had told to renovate and expand the shop in the Aeon Mall. She thought to have look.

"Aeon mall"

After about ten minutes drive, they reached the Aeon mall. After parking when they went upstairs, Sky asked about the other two.

"Peter and Clark? Aren't they coming up?" Sky asked nonchalantly.

"They went back to the office as I didn't bring my tab." Sam replied as he looked around.

They entered the Harley diamonds shop. There were still 'Eternal Love' postures and pictures were present.

Sky and Sam were politely greeted by the salesgirl and asked what they are looking at. Before she could reply, "Are you two here for inspection from the company?" The salesgirl asked when she saw two well-built bodyguards in Harley uniform stood behind Sky and Sam.

Sky checked the salesgirl line of sight and saw two men bowing her. Sky glared at Sam and gave a faint smile to the salesgirl. Latter immediately called the manager to tend to her.
