Chapter 151 - There is nothing bad about Sky

Stefan entered and saw mother and son patiently talking with each other. He thought everything is cleared between mother and son. "Whose family doesn't match ours?"

"Stefan, you came on time, Come and make him understand to stay away from that girl Sky." Sandra pulled Stefan next to her.

"Sandra, why are you worked up? He knows what is best for him. You go and rest." Stefan initially thought they were talking about girls who Sandra selected for Andy. But later he got to know she was still stuck on Sky.

"You... It's a waste to talk to you." Sandra turned towards Andy, "Son, I will do only best for you. So listen to me and stop contacting that girl, okay?"

Andy massaged his temples and spoke slowly and clearly. "Mom, there is nothing bad about Sky, She only has a handful of friends. And the boys she hangs around are her brothers or else me. And about her family, She is my friend, Why will I care if she is well off or not."

"Andy, stop defending her. If the family is well off, they will teach their children well. That elder one is still playing around, the younger one is a college drop out. Mr.Barton still drives his age-old car to work and I don't even want to talk about their income."

Rony laughed at his mother. "Mom, you have learned to crack jokes. Jai Barton is a national Player, he is not playing around."

Sandra glared at his son. Andy gestured Rony to be quite and spoke. "Mom, the whole town and country is proud of Jai for making into nationals, you saying he is playing around."

"Yes, Loran is a college drop out, Do you know how much he earns per month? My three-months salary may be lesser than what he earns per month."

"Uncle Barton drives his car because he is emotionally attached to it, not because he doesn't have money to buy a new one. Since I'm already saying about the income of that family, Do you know what aunty Barton does?"

Andy looked at his mother who was hearing everything in astound and he continued, "Aunty Barton looks after a farm near their farmhouse, her monthly income is enough for us to run our family for half a year."

"And you have a problem with Sky, Do you think she is living off her parents? she is not depending on her parents, she is getting the scholarships to study in that college which also covers her daily expenses."

"Just because they don't show off as you, that doesn't mean they have nothing. So who doesn't suits whom? If you know who Chipmunk actually is, you may feel very, very inferior."

Sandra was surprised but she was also pissed off because her son kept defending Sky. Sandra gritted her teeth and opened her mouth to talk, "You think ..."

Andy cut in and stood up, "I will marry the girl whom you like. Happy?" He stood there calmly and faced his mom with a weak smile on his face.

He doesn't want his mother to bring up Sky, again and again, to create chaos in the house. He didn't know well why his mom hated Sky but he knew she was just worried about what if his son loves Sky or wants to marry the one who he loves.
