Chapter 154 - She is just like a pretty delicate doll

He knew well that she was afraid of losing people who she cared most, hence he promised without thinking. Sky smiled and went in. Andy left after seeing Sky enter inside.

In the following week, Andy met two girls, He didn't like both. When he had to meet the third one, he had no expectation. The girl was late to the date and later he got a call from his mom saying the girl will be half an hour late. Hence he called Sky.

"Chipmunk, Today's date is half an hour late. You know it's so irritating. Where are you? Can you come here?" Andy called Sky for his date.

"Boy! wait patiently and no girl will like if she sees her date is with another girl even if she is a friend." Sky explained.

They spoke for an entire half an hour. he hung up when his date entered the cafe. She was in a white formal dress and purple blazer. She had a beautiful smile on her face but what attracted him most was her eyes.

He felt like he knew those eyes and he has met them. He was still in a daze when the girl reached his table. "Andy Gill, right?" Her voice was very soft.

"Yes!" Andy moved the opposite side and pulled a chair for her.

"Thank you!" The girl thanked him and sat.

"I'm Savanna Mariot. I'm so sorry for being late. Got some urgent work in the office. I hope you don't mind."

Andy who was irritated now had a pleasant smile on his face. Her voice was very soothing for him to hear. He would like to hear all day long.

They spoke for a long time, their date in cafe extended, they went for dinner and exchanged their numbers before leaving on their own ways.

Andy returned home and told his mom that he liked the girl. Sandra was very excited. She called the Mariot family and confirmed that even the girl liked Andy. Families decided to meet on the next day for discussing engagement and the wedding.

Andy completely forgot to inform or message to Sky. She thought it must have not gone well and called him. His number was busy. Andy saw Chipmunk flashing on his mobile screen but he ignored and continued to talk to Savanna.

After about half an hour, Her name again flashed on the screen. Andy held Savanna's call and answered Sky, "Sky, I'm busy. I will talk to you later." Before waiting for her reply he went back to talk to Savanna.

Next day, Andy went to work for half-day and returned home before lunch and they met Mariot family for lunch in a restaurant.

They decided to get engaged in a month, and the wedding in November. Andy got busy with Savanna and completely avoided Sky. Whenever she called, either his number was busy or he wasn't receiving it. When she was messaging, he used to say he was very busy.

One day he received a message from Sky, "Why are you avoiding me? Did I do anything wrong?"

That's when he remembered he hasn't told anything to Sky. He called her up.

"Chipmunk, I'm getting engaged next week. You know she is so nice. Her voice, her way of talking, how she behaves, everything is so good. She is just like a pretty delicate doll."

"Congratulations Andy, I'm happy for you. When is your engagement? When did you decide?" Sky wished him and asked happily.
