Chapter 191 - How do you know Sam?

Sam leisurely walked inside and settled himself on the couch comfortably. Sky raised her brows looking at the other three.

Peter spoke, "Let me see how the mighty Ms.Sky convince her Dad?" Then he walked towards another end and sat on the couch.

Jimmy and Maxwell smiled sheepishly and entered inside.

Sky breathed out loudly through the mouth and gestured Clark to pass the bag.

"I'm not forcing anybody. Think for a minute and decide if you want to stay or not. You may get better and exciting offers from others. So think. Think."

"And you, I know you never stayed at any job for long. So you better think before staying." Sky pointed Sam and said.

Listening to her mention 'You' Sam glared at her and gave a sarcastic remark, "Did you get hit on your head? Don't you remember my name now?"

Sky rolled her eyes, "I think you see too many dramas. Who forgets if they get hit on their head?"

Both laughed when they reminded how they were bantering. Because that's how they used to banter with each other.

"So nobody is leaving! Don't regret after the call." Sky said as she dialed David.

"Lass, Is everything fine? Why are you calling now instead of resting?" David worried voice came from another end of the call which was on speaker.

"I'm fine. Did you guys reach home? Rest early. Don't worry about the investigation."

David hummed.

"Dad, Peter and the other four will continue with their work." Sky said calmly.

David grunted, "No, I have appointed a better team."

"Dad, I already told you it was my mistake. So what are you going to do about me?" Sky asked nonchalantly.

"You... Do you enjoy putting me in difficult?" David was furious.

"Dad, I don't want others to pay for my mistake and I'm already familiar with these nutcases. So either them or nobody else." Sky told her intention.

Five members were dumbfounded and gave her a look which was saying, 'Who the hell is nutcase?'

David knew very well about Sky. If she wasn't familiar, she would never let anybody go near her, even he was a victim once because of it for a long time.

"As you wish. I will tell them. Lass, If they want to leave, I can't help you." David agreed.

"Don't worry Dad, You don't have to tell them. They got to know already. Just inform your other group." Sky gave a smug smile to Peter who had challenged her indirectly.

David hummed before hanging up.

Sky looked at them and spoke, "Now don't laze around. I want all the information when I wake up tomorrow. Go, Go... Oh! yeah, your punishment for deciding to go without telling me is to be awake all night and work. Clark, you will report me about it."

Clark agreed right away and left with others. Loran lowered her bed so that she could sleep.

Sky heard a faint voice coming from the other side of the door. She identified one as Sam's and she was guessing another one when Doctor entered.

Oh, Doctor's voice. He looks so strict towards me then how cum he was having such a good conversation with Sam.

The doctor checked her IV and sedated her, "Doctor Goody, How do you know Sam... I mean Samuel Cox?"
