Chapter 211 - It was because of her eyes

Red rims appeared around Andy's eyes. "But you were very nice to me. I casually asked for a job and you appointed me as your secretary. So I decided to stay and help you when you needed."

Sky's eyes were moist after listening to everything briefly, She moved to his couch and gave him a glass of water as she patted his back.

"You have gone through too much. I'm sorry for not being there when you need the most. I'm sorry for reminding you about everything." Sky's voice was gentle.

Sam who also heard it, didn't react too much but only said, "Karma is a bitch, It didn't only slap you in the face, it also changed your life."

Sky glared at him as she gritted her teeth and tried to cheer Andy, "I agree it changed your life, but it will change for good. You will be able to live a better life"

Andy nodded, "I'm sorry, you had to come here and work because of me."

Sky shook her head, "Am I not doing good? and I am at that position from which I could help and protect my people. So don't worry."

Andy nodded, After a few minutes of silence, Sky spoke, "Feeling better?"

Andy nodded and smiled, "Thank you, Ms. Sky"

"That's why I asked you to share." Sky stood up and started moving towards the restroom with the help of holding the couch.

Once she entered the restroom, Sam spoke in a rather low voice, "When did you realize you actually love Sky?"

Andy was taken aback as he stared at Sam, "I know everything."

Andy bit his lip, "I think It was in the month of August when I went shopping with Savanna. Sky was in trial room and Savanna too. Sky came first and Savanna next. Savanna's eyes are the same as Sky except for the vibe from them is different. It was because of Savanna's eyes, I said yes. Whenever I saw her eyes, I was getting comfortable only because I was comfortable around Sky."

Sam nodded, "Why didn't you tell Sky?"

"Very next day I asked to meet her in our common hangout place. When we spoke I asked her indirectly..."

"Chipmunk, When are you getting married?" Andy asked as he ate his pizza.

"Marriage? Only one dared to propose to me properly who I already rejected. Whoever wanted to purse me, changed their mind so fast. So who will dare to marry me?" Sky laughed it off.

Andy laughed with her, "You can pursue me, You may have a chance." Andy teased her.

"Oh please, I would like to die single than marrying you." Sky brushed it off.

"That time I understood her determination, She never saw me in any other light except being friends. I was scared to lose her too. But at last, I lost her," Andy turned toward the restroom door and shook his head resignedly.

"Do you still love her and want to propose her?" Sam asked. He never liked to be nosy but couldn't stop himself asking. Later he wanted to bite his tongue for asking.

Andy shook his head, "I admire her. She should get a man who can love her, protect her and trust her unconditionally."
