Chapter 221 - Aren't they weird people?

Sky knew very well that David and Jai didn't like to leave the dining table in the middle. Hence she calmed down and asked them.

Jai smirked, "We support the homosexual relationship so don't feel awkward to ask if you need a room." Jai's intention was to embarrass them for shouting at Sky which was a super success.

Sky and Loran tried to control but burst into laughter. David also added his comment, "I heard from a few people saying you two like each other so you two don't have a girlfriend. Is that true?"

There were rumors in the business circle Arlo and Ryan were couples. Since he couldn't tell like that so he framed differently.

Sky thought it was real and said ."Oh", and looked at them.

Both got flustered and sat back on the chair, Ryan took his bowl and left a chair gap between him and Arlo. Seeing Sky lips which had formed an O shape, Arlo gritted his teeth and shot a cold glance at Ryan.

"I'm sorry for my behavior, Ms. Harley" Ryan apologized under Arlo gaze.

Sky shook her head and said in all seriousness, "It's okay. I can understand why you were rude. If you two need any help, don't mind to ask me. I will try my best to help you."

David and Jai chuckled lightly. Arlo gritted his teeth and was thinking how to handle when Ryan's voice heard, "No, No. We are not what you think. We..."

"It's okay, You don't have to explain to us. I understand." Sky smiled and gestured them to eat.

Sky had heard in the news how society looked at people who are homosexual. She felt pity for them. It's their life, why can't they choose how they want to live? was her point of view.

Even though Arlo may appreciate her view towards that, but right at that time, he wanted to kill who found the word homosexual.

Since Ryan's beard was still intact, Sky didn't identify Ryan and she didn't know about Arlo. Rest of the lunch finished in silence. Arlo and Ryan left right after lunch.

They heard many times people saying it but they never cared. But they couldn't take it when the whole family embarrassed and Sky misunderstood. When they were walking towards their car, their hands touched. Both took a step aside and started walking without making any eye contact.

Arlo sat on Shotgun seat as Ryan drove. Ryan was contemplating to ask when he heard from Arlo. "Ask me whatever you are thinking."

"Aren't they weird people?" Ryan asked.

Arlo shook his head, "She cherishes them and she is the apple of their eye."

Ryan peeked at him and saw his smile. Ryan's lip tilted high which had evilness to it. he asked in a mild voice "What were you thinking when Sky was so near to you?"

Arlo thought about it as his ears started to turn red, "How will her lips taste?" he said subconsciously.

Ryan slammed on the brakes and looked at him in horror. Arlo stopped smiling at looked at him, After seeing his expression he understood he voiced his thought. He ordered arrogantly so that Ryan doesn't start to say anything. "Drive."
