Chapter 283 - I'm free now

Sky sat near David and opened a book which she picked up randomly. David caressed her head and said dotingly, "If you think you can do it, then you will do it. I have fetched a few professor's details, select one from them."

Sky hummed and went through the contents and opened the topic of Globalization. "Dad, He was telling he can help me in the study, let me see if he can." Sky handed the book to Arlo.

"You have half an hour to make me understand about this topic." She turned to David, "Dad, You too listen and tell how he is, okay?"

David hummed. Arlo took a few papers from the box and handed his notes and textbook back to her. Sky raised her brows without understanding.

"I will explain. You can keep notes and the textbook for reference." Arlo said

'Overconfidence' Sky thought to herself and nodded.

Arlo started explaining to her about Globalization and International business. He was explaining and giving an example for everything. In between, Sky and David asked him doubts, Arlo explained patiently to them. And he was asking a few questions whenever he doubted they understood or not.

"So Let me ask you the last question, Can you list the factors which increased the globalization?" Arlo started asking random questions about the topic.

Sky spread her fingers to count and listed out, "Expansion of cross-national cooperation, Increase in global competition, Development of services that support international business, Increase in application technology, liberalization of cross-border trade and resource movements, Growth of consumer support and... and... Changes in the political situation and government policies."

Arlo hummed and said, "You are a quick learner."

Sky smiled initially but it erased and looked at him, "Are you testing me or Are we checking you?"

Arlo just smiled. He thought she will take a lot of time to understand but it wasn't difficult as he thought it would be. David and Sky's grasping power was high and both understood easily.

Sky turned to David, "So? Will you suggest him for teaching me? Will I be safe sitting and studying with him?"

Hearing her last question, Arlo's lip twitched uncontrollably. But after hearing David's reply, he felt like strangling the father and daughter.

"He is better than many professors. Instead of asking an unknown person, isn't it better to have known? If you don't trust him, Ask Sam or Peter to accompany you during that time." David replied seriously.

"I will talk to Sam then" Sky turned back to see Arlo's dark face, "What's wrong? You don't want to teach me?"

Of course, he wasn't going to lose the opportunity to be with Sky. If a person likes somebody, they will just ask for a glimpse of the other person. If they can see them daily, they will want to talk to them. If they can talk, they will want to spend time with them. It's just the greedy nature of human beings.

"I will. When do you want to start? Miss Sky" Arlo replied as he gritted his teeth.

"I'm free now, we can start now if you are free. From tomorrow, you will have to teach me after working hours." Sky said and turned to David.

"Dad, Should I leave early to the office to work and start the study in the afternoon too?" Sky asked.
