Chapter 285 - Send somebody else

The next day

Sky reached the office at the usual time. She was welcomed by a big banquet of white roses on her desk. Sky turned toward Andy and Arlo who were reporting her some information and schedule.

"Ms.Sky, It was sent by the Kris international, so I asked them to keep inside. There are many more, but I received a personal call from President Lan's Assistant so I thought to let you know." Andy answered her.

Sky waved them to continue whatever they were saying and took the card from the banquet. Arlo was gritting his teeth looking at the roses and card in her hand.

'I will reach the Sky

'Oh!' She thought to herself and played with the card as she listened to Andy. Arlo had an impulse to take the card but his thoughts broke when he heard a knock on the door.

Sky saw the HR director standing near the door with a red rose banquet. "Come in"

Director kept the roses on the desk and saw Sky seeing him and quickly explained. "It was delivered in Sky Barton's name." He handed the card to Sky and stood rooted.

"Anything else?" Sky asked unhurriedly.

"Nothing Ms.Sky" Director replied.

"You can leave!" Sky sent him as she opened the card.

'I'm your aim? Not bad' Sky thought to herself.

She dropped Kris's card in her bag and kept Milan's card on his banquet and took a picture.

After making sure the written note was clear and visible, she sent it to Sam with the caption.

"He wants to kill me. (Dead emoji)(Dead emoji)"

After sending the message, she crumpled the paper and threw it to the dustbin. Hearing about the monthly report of the Harley, Sky stood up and kept the white roses in the vases of her room.

Since her room already had many white roses that complimented her interior decor, she couldn't keep red roses in her room and she had no heart to throw the beautiful roses hence she sent the roses with Andy.

"Andy, I got information that the administration is letting the area around Carlton lake for development. I want complete details on that." Sky asked.

"Sure Ms.Sky. Anything else?" Andy asked.

"You guys can leave." Sky sent them and started working.

After finishing work, Sky started her studies with Arlo and Sam also entered the office as asked by Sky and David. He didn't say anything as they already started hence he quietly sat and got busy with his tab.

Sam kept yawning out of boredom. Contagiously, Skyfollowed by Arlo also yawned. She lost interest to continue due to yawning and glared at Sam.

"What?" After realizing her eyes on him, Sam asked.

"You infected us with your yawns." Sky replied with a poker face.

"Ms.Sky, You think it's easy to sit doing nothing. You can't sit for five minutes and are you expecting me to sit for two hours?" Sam retorted.

"Oh!" Sky looked around in the office which can engage him for some time but except television books there was nothing.

"How about you read any book? or you can study with me." Sky asked earnestly.

Sam smirked.

"Then send somebody else." Sky said.

"If you call them to talk, eat and have fun, All four will sit with you all day and all night. But for this?" Sam shook his head.

He had tried to send others but all refused even when he threatened to beat them up. It wasn't only because sitting and doing nothing, it was also because of Arlo who would be normal with Sky and would give cold expression to rest.
