Chapter 348 - Pull away from kiss(5)

Soon the meeting was concluded and they went to the Legacy hotel in four cars. Sky, Arlo, and Rony left with Peter in her Maybach and the other three cars were for employees.

They divided twelve members into two. Since morning and afternoon events weren't heavy, each group took one with one evening event.

After deciding the required materials for the arrangements, They first checked in the Legacy hotel. They got a few items including big chandelier.

Since buying a chandelier would go out of their budget, Sky was thinking to use the spare one she had but the one she saw in Legacy was beautiful and matched their decoration theme.

The two groups left to get everything. Arlo had to lead one group. Rony and Sky left with another team.

Arlo was irritated with the team members hence he asked his people to keep everything prepared. Hence they picked the things faster and ordered to be delivered to Legacy. That group returned back to Legacy soon and had their lunch.

Sky and Rony were very particular about a few things hence they searched for a long time. She had sent others back to the hotel.

Sky and Rony reached back with Peter around afternoon five. Sky sent Rony and Peter to eat. Since one had to look after arrangements, she skipped it as it would be dinner time soon.

When she helping with the decoration, Jai entered the mini auditorium where magazine release would be carried out.

Seeing her standing on a tall stool, He strode faster and pulled her down. He finished the work she was doing. Since both named Barton, other employees didn't give a much reaction.

Arlo who was the owner of the Legacy was getting numerous questioning looks from his hotel employees and manager whenever he worked. Hence most of the staff were helping them in arrangements.

Arlo who knew Sky had skipped her meals brought sandwiches and saw them. He knew well if Jai or Loran were present he won't get a chance to talk. "Ms.Sky. Have some. You have skipped your lunch."

Sky face palmed herself and wanted to scold him for saying it in front of Jai but the latter was already looking at her. Jai wanted to chide her but he couldn't make himself do so, Hence he took the plate and fed her.

Sky heaved a sigh of relief for not getting rebuked but she didn't dare to talk as Jai's face was already dark. Her lips curled up realizing it was prepared by Arlo.

She tugged Arlo's sleeve who was leaving and spoke after eating. "You prepared right? Even if just a sandwich, it tastes good."

Sky then took another piece and shoved it to Jai's mouth without any warning. "Am I right?"

Jai resignedly finished eating and responded to her expectant look, "Hmm."

Arlo just smiled and left. He didn't expect her to guess it.

Sky hurriedly finished her sandwich and followed by dinner with both Loran and Jai. Then she went back to work after sending Jai to his room to rest.

After knowing a few of the items were required, Sky decided to go as others were tired. Peter had left and Sam accompanied her. By the time they finished everything except flower arrangement, it was one at night.

She sent everyone to rest and realized she had given her room key card to Rony. She was thinking whom to disturb, Loran or Jai, Manager of the Hotel approached her.

"Miss. Barton, Do you need any help?" Manager asked politely under the gaze of Arlo who was standing at the corner.

Arlo knew all the rooms were booked beforehand and even assigned previously. He had seen her giving her key card to Rony. Hence he asked the Manager to send her to his presidential suite which usually only used by him.

Since she had booked a different room for him, he decided to use it.

"Do you have an extra room?" Sky asked politely.

"Yes!" The manager pointed towards the end of the corridor and led her, "Ms.Barton, This way please."

Sky followed him and reached the suite. The manager opened the door for her and gave her the card, "Goodnight."

Then he closed the door and left. Sky looked around. She had seen the other rooms, which were luxurious but that suite was magnificent and lavish. It may be lightings, decor, furniture, and everything was top class.

On the day of Harley Anniversary

Arlo was responsible for handing the dress to all the brand ambassadors. To others, he asked hotel staff to give and he carried Jai's suit to his room.

He knocked twice and waited for the door to open. When the door opened, he froze. He had seen Sky enter his room but she opened the door of Jai's room rubbing her eyes.

Her hair was a little mess, her eyes were half-open. She was wearing only Jai's sweatshirt which reached her thighs. Since it was too large for her, the neck was wide for her hence her one shoulder was exposed showing her smooth fair skin.

Even though he didn't want to think anything, many thoughts started to pop in his mind because he knew they weren't siblings and her state in Jai's sweatshirt was too much to handle. Probably anybody who doesn't know much about them would think the same as him.

Sky was still half awake, seeing him standing still and holding the suit bag, she understood that he came for Jai.

She yawned as she pointed the front room which was Loran's room. Seeing Arlo not reacting, she thought he didn't understand and spoke in a groggy voice, "Brother Jai is in that room."

Sky went ahead and knocked on the door. Jai opened the door within a few seconds. Sky wished him and hugged, "Good morning."

Jai stroked on her head and looked at Arlo who was standing with a blank expression. After seeing his hand holding the suit bag, He pointed the closet inside the room.

Arlo nodded and went in. He saw through the door that Loran sleeping on one end of the bed and another end of the bed had wrinkles which meant Jai was in that room. He regretted having different thoughts about them.
