Chapter 365 - Sky likes President Smith(1)

Sky brought the lipsticks in all the shades available from the same brand she was using with a makeup remover for Mia's mother. She bought a cake and a dress for Mia, A tie for Daniel, Jade Buddha for Old master Cox and reached the Cox family villa.

Mia was reading a book sitting on the couch facing the door. She heard maid announcing and ran towards the main door to welcome Sky. "Sister Sky!" Mia excitedly greeted and raised her hand to tell her to carry.

Jimmy took the bags from Sky, the latter carried her inside. "Hello! Uncle Clark. Hello! Uncle Jimmy."

Jimmy said hello to her but Clark rebutted, "Mia, I'm younger than Sister Sky. Why are you calling me Uncle?"

Out of his expectation, Mia shot him a glance, "I'm sorry Mr.Clark."

Jimmy burst into laughter and Clark's face darkened. Sky rubbed her head fondly and met Mia's mother.

"Hello! Mrs.Cox. I'm sorry for my abrupt visit." Sky and Mia's mother didn't interact much hence both were little distant to each other.

Mrs.Cox gave a faint smile and waved her hand to the sofa to indicate her sit, "My daughter is very fond of you. I hope she isn't troubling you."

"Of course not. She is such an adorable child." Sky pinched Mia's cheeks and sat down.

Mia checked bags on the table and asked as she peeked at bags, "Sister Sky, Do I have a gift from these?"

Sky handed her big box wrapped in purple gift cover and golden bow. Mia excitedly opened the box and removed a Princess gown in soothing blush pink dress adorned with intricate lace, beads.

It was Mia's favorite color hence she liked it at first sight. "Sister Sky, Come and help me to wear it."

Sky looked at her mom who nodded at her. Then Sky followed Mia to upstairs holding her hand. By the time Mia and Sky came down, Daniel was arranging the dining table wearing an apron which meant that dinner was prepared by him.

After dinner, Mia wanted to be with Sky hence the latter brought her to Harley mansion for a night. After taking a shower, both were watching Disney when David entered. Since Mia was short, David didn't see her and thought Sky was watching Disney and started laughing as he went near her.

"Dad!" Sky noticed him and greeted. Mia stood up on the sofa and greeted David, "Hello Grandfather Harley."

David paused and understood Sky was accompanying Mia to watch. "Mia!" He went to her. Mia liked David hence she hugged him and sat on his lap.

Sky looked at them for a long time and couldn't resist but to comment, "Look at you two, You guys forgot me as soon as you saw each other."

David laughed looking at his jealous daughter. Mia went to her and rubbed her head, "Don't worry, I will come back to you after a few minutes. Old people like small kids so I am sitting with grandfather Harley."

Sky felt like she was a puppy and her owner was Mia by seeing her expression and actions that made David burst into laughter loudly. Sky could only nod at Mia and sit silently. She received a message from Peter saying her to watch the news.

Sky asked Mia first then changed the channel to Business news. She carefully read the news as she heard the news anchor speaking. Then she opened the social media in her Sky Barton ID and checked a few posts as mentioned in the news and their timings.

"Sam is so cool!" She jumped up and exclaimed.

Mia knew ' Sam ' Sky mentioned was her Handsome Sam and she got excited with Sky. Seeing her innocence, Sky couldn't help but hug her.

When David heard the news, he had guessed it and it was confirmed when he saw Sky exclaiming Sam's work.

A celebrity who was under Sigma uploaded a video of himself abusing the drugs. Then it was shared by Ryan Wilson's verified account.

There was a video of the manager who was trying to bribe the government official but it wasn't sure if he was successful in bribing. And by the dates, it was a year old video. It was posted by Ryan Wilson's verified account.

There was another video where a constructor belonging to Sigma abusing his power in the construction site. It was posted by the worker then it was shared by Ryan Wilson's verified account.

And a few other posts were released. But all were about lower or middle-level management. Higher-level management employees were upright due to their strong background.

These weren't big as it was showing in the news channels. The celebrity or the employees of that company didn't hold much importance in the company. It's significance increased only because they were posted by Ryan or shared by Ryan Wilson.

Even the media companies under Sigma reported about it enthusiastically as it was posted by a verified account of Ryan.

When all started to praise the morality of Ryan Wilson, all the posts were deleted from social media and a post appeared saying their account was hacked and the posts weren't true. Reading this, Media companies stopped airing for not to offend Sigma.

But the netizens, activists and other NGOs started to support the hacker and cursed Ryan Wilson and Sigma for removing all the posts from social media which they always did whenever negative news appeared.

Sky sent a message to Sam appreciating him and asking, how he did. Soon she received a reply.  ' Mia will be sleepy, Go to bed early.   See you tomorrow.'

Sky smiled and checked on Mia who was hugging her and asleep in her arms.

Sky remembered about herself always falling asleep in Jai's room and waking up in her room. Even though it still happens, she knew that Jai would take her to her room but it wasn't the same when she was a kid.

She used to wake up and tell everyone as if it was magic. She then looked at David who was reading the news on the iPad. She tugged his shirt and called, "Dad!"
