Arlo leaned back on the seat and said casually, "That's my laptop."
Ryan was shocked to the core and didn't dare to make a single sound. Hacking Arlo's password would be like a man looking for death. All his laptops were updated by himself with his unbreakable codes. If anybody tries to hack, it will automatically send the location and all possible information to Arlo.
Arlo got up and left the study. Ryan followed him out and sat on the shotgun seat. Arlo slammed on the gas and soon they reached the Legacy hotel.
After entering the room, he saw everything was in its place with his laptop too. He checked the position of it which meant it didn't move a little. He always kept his laptop at a particular place which he never forgets, even if it moves a centimeter aside, he would get to know.
He opened his laptop and checked the history for any traces but it was empty with a line, 'Hope to see you soon'
It meant somebody used his laptop but there was nothing he could do on his laptop. Hence he checked the security cameras around and found nothing. After watching several times, he found repeated parts of the video.
Since all the security cameras were under hacker during a particular time, he didn't find anything fruitful. Then he checked whoever booked rooms in Legacy but they didn't find anything suspicious.
Since Sigma released a statement, the number of people opposing stopped except few which didn't matter much other than stock price decreasing for a week before picking up back and a few shareholders started creating Hungama in the following week until Arlo showed up one day in a meeting.
-- In the Harley Mansion --
Since it was Sunday, Sky didn't wake up until Mia woke her up. It was eight by the time both got fresh and went down.
Both were wearing bunny leisure outfits in pink and white. David saw them and laughed, "Let's give some carrots to our little bunnies."
Mia left Sky's hands and ran up to David, "Grandfather Harley, Don't we two look cute?"
Sky smiled and called Mia, "Come, Let's have breakfast first."
David replied to her, "Of course, our bunnies are very cute. Go and have breakfast. It's already late."
Mia obediently had breakfast with Sky. Later David, Mia, and Sky played in the lawn under trees shade... A guard came to David and notified him about somebody's arrival hence he left leaving two girls.
Mia was trying to catch Sky when David welcomed the guest and was taking them inside. Both heard two girls chuckling and turned to them.
From the looks of it, Both were fallen on the grass ground and laughing. Since Mia's hoddie cap was on her head, she was looking like a pink bunny and she was facing them. Sky's side profile was visible to them and her hoodie wasn't on.
The guest didn't identify them and asked, "Chairman Harley, They are?"
David was thinking the guest as intelligent and witted but it changed with his questions, "Sky and Mr.Cox's daughter, Mia."
The guest saw Sky again, She was wearing White hoddie with bunny ears and white shorts. He felt it as little childish. "Oh"
Both went inside leaving two girls on the lawn. After some time, Sky and Mia went inside arguing with each other about who won, "Mia, I won."
"Sister Sky, be a good girl. I clearly won."
"Mia, being a good girl, I'm saying I won."
"Sister Sky, I won"
Sky was simply engaged in arguing for fun hence she gave up with a sad look and agreed, "Yes! You won."
Mia looked at Sky and changed her stance instantly, "Sister Sky, Don't be sad, you won. I was just kidding."
Sky burst into laughter and scooped her up, later she noticed two men in the large living room looking at them. Her lips twitched uncontrollably and reluctantly greeted him in cold tone, "President Lan."
Kris nodded at her with a smile. Since he was handsome, Sky thought Mia would like him hence she introduced them. "Mia, That's Kris Lan, President of a company. President Lan, She is Mia Cox."
"Hello Mia" Kris greeted her with his signature smile but none of his fans were there to faint.
"Hello, Mr.Lan. I'm Ms.Cox." Mia said in an even colder tone which surprised everyone.
Sky sat on the sofa, picked her up and whispered, "What happened? Didn't you like him?"
But Mia's voice loud enough to embarrass both Sky and Kris. "Sister Sky, I know you don't like Mr.Lan. What if he is handsome? since you don't like him, I don't like him too."
An awkward silence fell over in the living room.
David coughed a little and asked Mia, "Mia! Who said Sky hates him? We shouldn't talk like that."
Mia left Sky and sat on David's lap facing him. "Grandfather Harley, Nobody told me anything. I'm a big girl, I can understand and my parents say we shouldn't lie."
"Your parents are right. How did you say Sky don't like him?" David asked.
Mia calmly explained, "If Sister Sky likes anybody, she will be very very good with them. If she doesn't like them, She is not at all friendly with them."
David looked at Sky and was thinking about how to explain it to Mia. Sky called Mia and explained patiently ignoring Kris who had furrowed his brows higher and higher.
"Mia, What you said is not completely true! If I like them, Yes, I'm good for them. But it's not about like or dislike for others. If I am unfamiliar with them, I don't have to be good with them. Do I have to?"
Mia partly understood and was partly confused. "So that means, you aren't familiar with Mr.Lan hence you are cold to him."
Sky didn't know whether she should laugh or cry but she still nodded. Mia spoke, "Sister Sky, I'm also unfamiliar with Mr.Lan. I don't have to be friendly either."
Sky was speechless. David was again in a difficult position. Kris tried to manage, "Ms.Cox, I will try my best to get familiar with your sister Sky."
