Chapter 372 - Sky is kidnapped(3)

Sky rubbed her head where Sam flicked her and looked behind her. After knowing, it was her picture, she stood up to see it clearly and was stupified.

She cried inwardly, 'Brother Joe, didn't you get any other picture of mine? Sob. Sob'

Sky covered her face with palms and peeked at the picture between fingers. Sam saw her reaction and started chuckling. Sky heard him and pursed her lips as it turned downward.

She has her so many pictures, but why this?

In the picture, Sky was wearing a sleeveless white and blue formal knee-length dress and her hair was straight. Wearing her blue pumps, she was dragging a sledgehammer towards the Porsche.

She could see her lips tilted up and playful look on her eyes in the picture but she wasn't looking beautiful or cute because it was a devilish smile and there a tinge of wickedness in the eyes. She looked like a real badass girl in formal wear. She liked the picture but she didn't think it was suitable to frame it so big.

Sam pulled her down to sit and remarked, "What's the use of feeling remorse now?"

Sky knew him well too so she won't let him gloat on his remarks. Sky shook her head, "I wish I was in gym wear or jeans and some leather jacket. Wouldn't that look amazing?" She ended with a smile on her face leaving Sam at loss of words.

"Be dumb, you will live long." Sam was the same Sam, How can he let her win so easily?

Sky controlled her laughter as others were in the room and spoke in a low voice again. "Samuel Cox. Are you telling yourself? I know, Being a Smarty-pants with all is difficult. I hope you live long." She patted on his shoulder and closed her mouth chuckling.

Joe was occasionally watched those two. Even though his relationship with Sky improved a lot, It wasn't as good as Sky and Sam leaving Barton brothers aside. He could only wish to improve his relationship with her by passing days. He concluded the meeting soon and sat with them.

"Brother Joe, seriously?" Sky pointed behind her towards the picture and pouted.

Joe smiled, "You are cool in that. Tough and intimidating."

She covered her face with cushion and laughed, after stopping she asked, "Are trying to scare your employees with my picture? By the way, why my picture?"

Joe thought for a while, "Right! To frighten my employees."

Sam burst into laughter hearing him. All the cushions on the sofa were thrown at Joe by her. " You. are. too. much. "

In a few seconds, all cushions reached the floor after hitting Joe but he and Sam were still laughing. Both stopped laughing when they heard knock on the door by the secretary.

"President Milton, Would you like to postpone the meeting or cancel?" Secretary asked.

Sky spoke before Joe could respond to her, "Brother Joe, Finish your meeting. I will be strolling city with Sam." She also had little work which was also her main reason for visiting Country S.

"But..." Sky cut him off. "No buts. I will be here until tomorrow night. So please finish your work first." Sky said and stood up.

Joe could only nod at her, "I am free from lunchtime. I will call you."

Sky nodded and left with Sam. They finished their work and strode around for some time and sat in a cafe. Sam drank coffee and Sky ate ice cream as she checked what places were present around them.

Sky received a message from Jai about a handmade chocolate shop address. Jai had bought her chocolates from there to country A which Sky liked a lot. Hence Jai sent her address so that she could try some more flavors.

Since Sam had already finished his coffee, Sky got up and wore her jacket. "Sam! There is a chocolate shop nearby. Let's go."

Sam nodded and left with her. Since it was the weekend, there were more people and vehicles on the road.

Sky brought two flavors and opened one box to taste as they crossed the road. It wasn't very sweet but its bitterness was perfect. Sky liked it and shoved one to Sam for the taste.

Sam who usually doesn't like chocolates liked it too. Since he had said he doesn't like, she only bought two boxes which had ten chocolates each. Seeing him enjoying chocolate, She shoved the box to him, "I will get two more."

She jogged and crossed the road faster. Sam who was walking behind had just crossed one side of the road when crossing another side, the signal turned red hence he had stop and looked at Sky who entered the Shop.

She took two more and came out before he could even move from his place. Both were standing opposite to each other waiting for the signal to turn green.

When she was waiting, she looked around the building and people who were walking around. Even the capital city in country A was as developed as the capital in country S, the people and culture in S nation were very diverse and more broad-minded.

She could see couples of different races which was hard to get in her country. Gay couples being intimate in public places just like normal couples were also common. She felt that the city as fast-forwarding than her own city.

There were five seconds for the signal to open for them to walk, Sam saw a car pause near the zebra crossing and left. Sam traced the car for two seconds and looked back at Sky's position but she wasn't there. He frowned and looked around the place thinking she must have taken a few steps aside.

But people who were standing around Sky were looking at the car left and the boxes which were in Sky's hands were laying on the ground.

Sam threw two bags in his hands and ran towards the black car. He stopped a taxi and hopped on and commanded for him to follow the black car which was already at a quite distance.

He took out his tab and folded the keyboard and started working on it as he kept checking the black car. His fingers trembled hence his held his fist tight and breathed slowly for a few seconds before continuing the work.

They successfully followed the car in three junctions and the taxi stopped at the fourth.
