Sam and Arlo both knew she started crying as soon as she left. Sam spoke to Joe and his grandfather as he briefed morning events and her mood. He sent the latter back. Joe stayed behind.
Nearly an hour passed, Sky didn't come out. When Sam knocked on the door, she didn't give any response.
Arlo asked the maid to warm the milk and went to Sky's next room and jumped from the window to her room balcony.
She was falling flat on the bed holding pillows. Her long hair was all over her and bed. He checked the door which was open and entered hearing her sobs.
He wanted to wake her up but thinking if he stops her, she may cry again later. He stopped and leaned on the door as the sunset rays entered the room and illuminated its colors.
It wasn't even five minutes he was standing, She moved her head up and turned around leaning back. When her eyes fell on him, she widened it and threw the pillow which didn't even reach him.
Her eyes were swollen but it looked clear. Her cheeks still had the tinge of redness but her nose tip was bright red with her eye rims. Her hair was completely messed up. He could even see the knots in it.
When Arlo took a step towards her, she covered her face with a pillow and spoke in her hoarse voice, "Don't come here. Go. Don't you know you shouldn't go to a girl's room without permission? Leave." Sky was speaking holding a pillow.
Arlo took the pillow from her and kept aside. While keeping it he saw a wide wet patch on the pillow and he felt his heart tightening.
"Why are you watering pillow?" He asked and poured the milk to the cup.
"Why do you always use my brother's line?" Somehow whatever he says reminds her about Jai.
Once Jai had told her, 'Stop watering your pillow with your tears.'
Arlo didn't know much about Jai and he couldn't understand why many of his lines make her say it. Sky took the cup and started to drink.
"So is it good or bad?" Arlo asked gently as he tidied her hair.
She removed the cup from her lips, "I'm annoyingly obedient to you. Upon that your talk reminds about Brother Jai. So what do you think?"
Arlo paused his actions. He wasn't sure if she was really obedient.
"Annoyingly obedient? When?" Arlo asked. Sky rolled her eyes at him and finished drinking.
She was crawling on the bed to go towards the washroom, he stopped her. "You didn't answer."
She sat back and folded her legs facing him. "Do you really think anybody can enter my room like this, sit and talk to me?"
"Huh?"
"Never mind." She climbed out of bed and entered inside the washroom leaving Arlo to think.
Soon she came looking clean and tidy. "Are you going to sit in my room? Let's go."
Sky left to go downstairs and peeked in the living room first. She saw Joe and Ryan.
"Where is Sam? Did he run away? Did I scare him?" She asked as she ran downstairs in a panic.
Sam heard her from the kitchen and came out. "Do you think you can scare me?"
Sky saw towards the kitchen and sighed, "If you run away who will take me out? Anyway, are you angry with me? You aren't going to leave me, right?"
"Sky?" Sam thought she was better like usual than looking weak.
"If you leave, I will ask Mia to kick you out of the house. Hmph." Sky said went to the living room.
Sam was speechless. 'Mia?' Mia threatens him with Sky's name and she started to threaten with Mia. These too!
Arlo who came down went to the kitchen and contemplated for a while to ask. Sam got annoyed and asked, "Speak."
"Is she obedient to me?" Arlo asked then thought he should have controlled his curiosity.
Sam looked at him thinking whether Sky told him or he assumed or he actually knows, "Who told you that?"
"Sky!"
Sam was surprised but he kept his poker face, "Then why are you asking me?"
Arlo grounded his teeth and left the kitchen. Their talks were always weird.
Ryan was watching television. After looking around Arlo saw Sky and Joe sitting near the pool suspending their legs in the water.
Sky had called Joe outside to talk. She apologized for not meeting his grandfather and said she needs time. Joe agreed and didn't force her.
They were casually talking when they heard Ryan excitedly asking everyone. "Can we go to the club? Can we? Can we?"
Nobody answered him. He knew only Sky could make everyone agree hence he went to her. "Ms.Sky, please! It's been years I went to a club."
Sky smiled faintly, "I have never been to a club. Won't those places are too crowded? Ask Sam."
Ryan went to the kitchen...
"Little sister! Have never been to any club?" Joe asked.
Arlo came behind her, "Ms.Sky! Have never been to any club?"
Sam came out, "Sky! You have never been to a club, Do you want to go?"
Sky smiled knowing the difference.
Ryan chimed in, "Ms.Sky, Few of the best clubs are here."
Sky looked at all who had an anticipate gaze but she stopped at Sam, "You decide."
Sam decided after giving it a thought. Since her mood was down, he wanted to cheer her. "We will go after dinner."
Sky nodded at Sam then looked at the rest, "You all go and help him. If he gets tired, I will cancel the plan."
She thought one or two would help him but three men followed Sam leaving her alone. She smiled and lay down in the same place hugging a pillow, watching the darkening sky. She could see numerous stars glittering in the dark sky. She never gets to watch so many in Country A's capital.
After enjoying dinner, Sky checked her whole luggage and found out she had no clothes which she could wear to the club.
Sam was ready, Joe was coming in the same dress. Arlo and Ryan decided to buy on the way. Seeing her coming down in the same dress, Ryan asked thinking Sky didn't know dress codes, "Ms.Sky, You can't wear this and come."
"I know. I only have summer dresses and simple tops. I didn't bring anything else." Sky said the fact.
"Then shop with us." Ryan said and stood up.
