They thought Sky wouldn't ask as they already spent a day. But that question popped up when they least expected it. Both coughed to clear their throat but didn't speak.
Sky shook her head resignedly and asked another question, "Have you guys booked a room anywhere or need a room here?"
"Can we stay here?" Ryan was already tired.
Sky nodded and stood up. "Upstairs, the last two rooms are free, You can pick from them."
She closed the main door and french windows on the ground floor before going to her room. She took a shower and changed into sleepwear before going to sleep. She tossed and turned on the bed for a long time.
After making sure country A's time was morning six, She wore her nightwear sheathe and went out to the balcony to sit on the swing. She called Jai.
Jai received after a few rings. "Little sister! Why aren't you sleeping yet?"
"Brother Jai! I'm not getting sleep. I called to talk to you. What are you doing? Are you busy?" She smiled and asked.
Sky didn't know men in the next two rooms hadn't slept yet. She continued to talk generally. After a few more minutes, Jai changed the voice call to video call. Then both ends voice started to sound in the balcony.
"Sky! Do you want to say anything?" Jai could tell from the way she spoke whether she had something to say or not.
Sky nodded, "But you aren't allowed to get angry on me."
"Okay, speak."
"After buying the chocolates, I and Sam both liked it. So I wanted to buy more. Seeing there were only a few seconds lefts, I jogged and crossed the road. But Sam couldn't cross as I hurriedly stuffed the boxes which were in my hands and he had to stop between roads. When we were waiting for the signal to turn green, a black car stopped at me and they took me inside the car covering...."
Sky detailed everything to Jai including Old master Milton's arrival and what she did...
Sam and Arlo heard it completely. She had briefed them but she explained every detail to Jai and the latter even heard her patiently till the end with light hums.
Sky always told Sam not to report to Jai, now he got to know she tells everything to Jai herself. Their conversation was more like a child reporting everything to its parents.
"... ... Sam left all his work and came here for me and I was so rude to him but he didn't even scold me and he didn't even get angry. I said sorry but I still think he is disappointed. Should I apologize again?"
"Little sister! I'm not there. Wipe your tears first." Jai said. Sky nodded and wiped her cheeks.
After seeing her wipe, Jai spoke, "If you think, you have to apologize, then say it. There is nothing wrong with realizing your mistakes and saying sorry."
Sky nodded, "Morning I will do it. He will be asleep now."
Sam who heard them sighed. 'Dumb woman, I wasn't disappointed in you.'
He wasn't displeased because of her. He wasn't even angry at her. He felt remorseful because he couldn't cross the road on time. He regretted standing there when he could have crossed the road even when vehicles were passing.
If he wasn't waiting for the signal, she wouldn't have experienced what she went through. She was capable enough to escape else he didn't even dare to think what would have happened to her. He didn't think his mood could affect her else he would have controlled his emotions.
Jai continued, "Sky! Do you know everyone can't realize their mistake as fast as you?"
Sky nodded, Jai continued, "I'm very proud of you for that. But somebody will take a long time too. Isn't it?"
Sky nodded again. Jai continued. "Old master Milton took a long time to realize his mistake and he may have his own reasons for not meeting you."
Sky remained mum. Jai again continued in his coaxing tone, "I'm not telling to forgive him. But we should respect his age, isn't it?"
Sky nodded and spoke, "But what if he has ulterior motives against Dad?"
Three men didn't expect that reason.
"My little sister! You don't have to grow up so fast. Haven't I told you, you shouldn't worry about things like that?"
"Okay, Brother Jai. then do I have to talk to him if I meet again?" Sky asked even though she knew the answer.
Jai hummed, "You don't have to accept him now. At least talk to him as stranger than avoiding him completely."
"Okay, I will do as you say."
Sam and Arlo were surprised how easily Jai coaxed Sky to talk to Old master Milton.
After talking some more time about the club, bridal dress, she asked about his practice and other things...
"It's already late, Don't you want to sleep? Do you still have anything to say?"
Sky bobbed her head. Jai spoke about it, "You miss me?"
Sky nodded and grumbled, "Brother Jai! I really miss you. Is there anything that can do teleportation as they show in the movies? or... I want Doraemon's ' Anywhere Door '."
When Jai chuckled loudly, the Other two controlled themselves for not to make any sound.
"Okay, carry on your training." Sky said and waved her hand.
"Sky! Don't cut the call. Go to Sleep. I will hang up after I see you sleep." Jai said earnestly worrying she might start crying again.
"Brother Jai, I'm not so spoiled yet. I will not cry. Don't worry." Sky knew her brother very well.
"You said it! Then I'm off. Call me if anything. Anytime . Sweet dreams." Jai's tender voice sounded in the balcony before the end of the call.
"Practice well." She waved and hung up.
After sharing with Jai, she felt light-hearted and too lazy to get up from there hence she laid on the swinging bed instead of going inside.
After a few minutes she heard a knock, knowing it wasn't from the room door, she raised her head towards right and saw Arlo. "You... were you eavesdropping?" She pointed her finger in a baffled expression.
She was already embarrassed when he entered her room in the evening to see her crying. Now again he showed up.
'Dumb Sky! why didn't you stay in your room?'
'Should I dig a hole for myself?'
