Chapter 395 - I really like you(2)

Sky nodded and shoved her   ID and mobile in her jacket. Arlo followed them.

Sky checked the time on her wristwatch to realize it wasn't visiting time in the police station. Sky quickly called Deputy chief after knowing about the area of the police station. "President Harley here, I want to meet Ethan Jeff who is under interrogation in the X police station." Sky came to the main point.

Before Sky could even call, Arlo had sent him a message so that she could do her work without hiccups.

Deputy chief in police agreed right away to Sky and even asked her to come from the back gate as the main door had reporters.

"Thank you!" Sky cut the call and looked at Sam.

"Sam! I think Ethan isn't a drug abuser. Is it possible to fetch the club's footage to know if anyone spiked his drinks? Even if he has taken purposefully, we will get to know."

"I have already asked Peter to that. Don't worry too much." Anything related to Sky naturally their group's important work hence he had instructed before leaving with her.

Arlo sat silently and saw her quick reflexes about all the matters. Seeing she already informing Liam about the case, it was evident she wants him out of the police station.

It was already late, Ethan could only be out in the morning even if they get evidence soon. Bailing was impossible in this type of case.

After entering the police station from the back door, Sky immediately met Ethan in the interrogation room. When deputy chief and other two expected her to calm down Ethan who looked worn out, She gave him a tight slap.

"Ethan! Why am I the one to know last? Can't you inform me soon?"

Ethan bit his lip and looked at her with complex emotions, "You were angry on me because of last time."

Sky was ignoring him since he was rude thinking Sky was keeping an eye on him. So he too gave her time. Sky furrowed her brows, "Idiot."

On the way, she had spoken to James who was in despair. His wife fainted and admitted to the hospital after knowing about him. James had been managing both sides leaving his business. She couldn't understand why James didn't tell her about Ethan.

James didn't get a chance to meet Ethan after the test reports were out. So the only person meeting him was Sky.

Sky hugged him and patted on his back to console before talking.

Sam and Arlo were looking at them but Deputy chief was looking at Arlo thinking if the latter was wooing Sky, how can he stand letting her hug another man. Arlo sensed his gaze and shot him a cold glance.

Sky made Ethan sit and spoke, "I trust you that you don't do drugs. Are you perhaps wanted to try it out of curiosity or something?"

Ethan shook his head. "I would never do that."

Sky gave a faint smile, "Did you take any drinks from the waiters or other's drink or did anybody passed you a drink other than taking from bar counter?"

Even though she never went to club in the capital, she knew that spiking the drink was offense and all the clubs' bar counter had surveillance cameras.

Sam answered her, "He had taken quite a few drinks from waiters and friends."

Sky turned to Deputy chief, "Have you checked all the surveillance camera footage?"

"President Harley, It's still in the process." As soon as he had to serve them, he collected all the information about the case.

" In. the. process? " Sky raised her brow giving shivers down the spine of the police. "How many days do you all want to check the footages of a club?" Sky's voice was colder than ice.

"I... I will ask them to fasten the process." Deputy chief ran out wiping his cold sweat.

'Sh*t! isn't she just a young girl?' He thought to himself and went to give orders.

Sky looked back at Ethan and asked in a normal voice, "Do you still like Partying so much?"

Ethan was never been treated badly excluding Sky during their first meet. In the police station, while interrogating, the cops who were in charge of the case were pressuring him to accept the mistake numerous times even after he denied saying he didn't take it and he didn't know about it.

He had no hopes until she came. He was glad that Sky trusted him that he didn't use the drugs and willing to check on it.

Ethan again shook his head, "After that party in my villa, I stopped going anywhere but this was a birthday party of friend hence I had to go."

"Is there anybody who doesn't like you in your group? Or are you suspicion about anybody? Think and answer."

Ethan thought for a while and shook his head.

Sky got up and went out with Sam and Arlo. "If somebody else was the target of the spiked drink and he drank it, it's impossible to catch without surveillance footage. What else could we try?"

Sky asked and paced around in the Captain's office thinking about possible ways.

Sam took the time to reply, "Let's wait for Peter to call."

Sky nodded and sat down. She looked at Deputy chief entering inside and asked, "Where are others? I saw only Ethan in that interrogation room."

"President Harley! Only Mr.Jeff's report is positive." He replied about the matter of fact.

Sky looked at Sam and the latter understood what she was thinking.

If somebody else was a target, then they would be in the police station too but only Ethan was present hence it was clear that Ethan was the target and according to police, nobody left the club whoever entered inside.

"Sky! We have no lead yet. Go home, I look into this." Sam spoke.

Sky shook her head. Without trying her hundred percent, she would not back out so easily. Sky had dropped a message to David as his number was busy, hence he called back.

"Lass! Is it necessary for you to stay at the police station?" David knew about it before Sky and even he asked his men to look into it. Unfortunately, he didn't receive any positive results. Hence he didn't want her to spend time in the police station as it won't affect much.

"Dad! Do you think Ethan would do it?" Sky's downcast voice sounded.

"What if he has taken knowingly?" David asked back.

"If that's the case, I will break all tooth before leaving the police station."

She wasn't somebody to support such things. If he wanted to try and tried for the first time, she may try to teach him a lesson and try to find a solution but he already said no. Since he said no and she was trusting him, she wouldn't go easy if he lied to her at that time.

When Deputy chief excused himself out to pick a call, Sky saw a known stranger. "Sam! Why do I feel like Ethan is here because of me?"

Sky's intuition hardly goes wrong and Sam knew well about it as she won't tell anything like that.
