"If I marry you and I can't even walk on the streets peacefully, What's the need to be with you?"

"Harley's backer? Are you dreaming? Save yourself first."

"Limitation? I can't fly? Can you fly? If not, shut your bloody useless brain."

Sky went on and on for a long time and stopped looking at the handsome face which was looking dark as a dungeon.

"Is it enough? or Should I continue?" Sky asked politely as her lips tilted up.

Kris laughed scornfully after few seconds, "We can only make duckling to Swan by the looks. But their mentality will still be like an ugly duckling."

"Oh! Are you talking about the dress?" Sky said and stood up.

She unzipped gown in front of him shocking his wits. Blue gown fell on the floor. She was wearing a tank top in shirted in jet black jeans with Gucci belt and Black Knee-high boots.

She kicked the dress on to him and started removing her hairstyle as her each hair locks fell on her waist. She grabbed the Maroon long jacket and put it on with a swift motion and stood in front of like a whole new girl.

A beautiful, elegant, graceful looking girl turned into a spunky, ravishing, bold girl. It was the earth-sky difference.

Her eyes, smile and two diamonds were piercing his eyes when he stood up to face her.

A cold glint flashed across her eyes, "What you know about me is just a tiny bit. You don't know the real me and you don't even deserve it." Sky said and turned around and strode towards exit.

"You just have the low-class mentality and cheap clothing choices." Kris mocked before she could even exit. Though he was impressed by her look, he wasn't going to lose in verbal war and he still couldn't understand why she rejected him.

He was thinking if he creates more chances for her to meet, she would propose herself but she didn't bother to contact him after any of the dinners.

Thinking an expensive dress and reserving a whole hotel would impress her and she would take the chance to profess her feeling towards him like any other girl but she didn't speak anything.

After seeing she threw the expensive dress and came prepared with another dress, it was evident that she was well prepared to reject him.

Sky paused and strode back towards him, "Oops! But you just proposed the same person... I pity you."

She paused and looked him in the eye, "If I don't let out my anger, My head will start throbbing."

Sky picked up a chair, swung it and tossed it on the wide circular glass top breaking it into thousands of pieces spreading throughout the hall.

She didn't even blink throughout the process as she kept her cold smile and cold gaze at him which gave him goosebumps.

Kris widened his eyes in shock and checked himself to make sure if he wasn't hurt after hearing the noise.

Sky was wearing leather boots and jeans hence she knew she wasn't hurt. "President Lan, since you are rich and high class, I will give you the honor to pay."

Sky heard footsteps, She turned and saw Sam who was approaching her.

Sky continued and went towards Sam."And if you are cheapskate, send me the bill."

Sky knew well Sam would come if he hears any loud noise so she wasn't surprised at all.

"Are you hurt?" Sam asked with a concerned tone.

Sky shook her head and went with Sam after her last sentence to Kris, "President Lan, Don't show up in front of me, you may lose your beautiful face."

'You will pay for this.' Kris muttered looking at departing figures without taking her last sentence seriously.

After hopping on the car, they left the Empire hotel. Seeing her sitting in silence, Sam spoke, "Want to try bungee jumping?"

As expected by Sam, her bright smile appeared instantly and she nodded like a chicken picking grains from the ground.

It was very easy to make her happy; Brothers, Food, travel, and adventure.

Sam smiled, "Saturday?"

"Done! Where is it? How is it? How are we going there?" She agreed instantly and poked him.

Sam shook his head in resignation and answered, "City M. Near Delta river. We have to trek up and Jump down. Either we have to leave early morning, trek afternoon. Or leave in the evening, rest in the hotel, early morning trek. How do you want?"

Sky excitedly answered, "Whichever you feel the best." Just like that, they decided to go on an outing.

Sky informed David, Joe about Kris and she detailed to Jai about it with recording. Loran was fuming mad.

The next day, Sky went to work as usual and didn't see Arlo. Andy informed her his mobile was switched off.

Being used to see him every day including weekends, She kind of missed him. She tried calling in the evening but his number was switched off.

Remembering his abrupt behavior on the day before, she felt he must be unwell, she thought to call Olivia the next day.

She self-studied for an hour and left to Harley mansion.

The next day, when she didn't see him for half-day, Sky called Olivia. "Grandmother!"

"Child! Did you have lunch?" Olivia's doting voice sounded on another end.

"Grandmother! I'm going out now for lunch. Actually, grandmother, I called you for a reason this time."

"Go ahead!" Olivia said.

"The day before yesterday, Arlo left abruptly. He didn't come yesterday and even today. We couldn't reach him either. So I called you to ask if Arlo is fine? Is there a problem? If there is anything I can help you with, let me know if there is anything."

Olivia heard her worried tone. When Arlo left in the morning, she thought he went to Harley.

"Child! I will ask him to get back to you. You have your lunch on time. Take care." Olivia hung up before Sky could respond.

Sky sighed and went to a restaurant for eating with Sam and Peter.

"Prepare a car." Olivia ordered and changed her dress before leaving.

Olivia left the Smith mansion and reached Sigma. Seeing Chairman Smith coming, All made way for her to reach the top floor of the sigma.
