Chapter 419 - Watch and learn

Arlo nodded and sat on the sofa looking at her who was seriously typing something. He noticed her fingers speed which was quite good.

He couldn't understand why most of the men say  'women are most attractive when they smile than being serious .' He liked her in all forms. Not to mention, his interest raised seeing her panda face.

Sky finished replying to the required mails and closed the laptop. She wore her boots and stood up, "Let's go."

Arlo nodded and followed her out. They had lunch in a french restaurant. While eating and talking, Arlo asked intentionally, "Have you tried Ice skating?"

"Nope! I don't know to skate." Sky replied the fact.

"Do you want to try? There is an indoor arena nearby." Arlo had already made arrangements but he casually asked.

If she rejects, he thought to give his birthday as the reason. Knowing that he was thinking of such a childish point he chuckled inwardly. But he didn't expect somebody else could also ruin his plan of spending time with her.

Sky hummed while thinking, "Don't I have to do a revision of any topic?"

"No!" Arlo replied instantly making her look at him in the puzzle. He slowly gave an excuse, "We have already double-checked everything. Give rest to your brain."

"Oh! If I fall and twist my ankle, I will break your leg!" Sky paused and continued, "How do you know so many things? I think I don't know even half of the things that you know."

Arlo smiled and offered, "Since you will be free from coming weekends, I will help you learn whatever you want."

Sky heard it and supported her head with her left hand asking him, "So all your weekends for me?"

Arlo copied her and asked, "Am I not with you on weekdays too?"

Sky sat back and spoke, "That's different. You will be working as my secretary in the office. The weekends as my tutor that too free of cost."

Sky giggled saying 'free of cost'.

'The point is we are together every day. Is it your talent to pick the different factor?' Arlo shook his head resignedly.

After lunch, they went to Ice skating arena. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many people other than a few couples and kids.

She wore white ankle-length skating shoes and looked at their mental blades. "Blades are very thin, How am I going to stand on this."

Arlo controlled his laughter looking at her. "Try to walk on this rubber surface first then we will go on the ice surface."

Arlo patiently taught her from the basics of marching to gliding around in the circle. She found it difficult to move by keeping the toes slightly out but eventually, she learned. She took around half an hour and could circle holding on to Arlo's hand.

Arlo left her hand so that she could skate alone but he had forgotten to teach her how to stop.

Once she got the grip, she increased the speed and Arlo followed behind her if in case she trips. But they had only taken two rounds somebody called him.

"Junior!"

Sky moved forwards without seeing. Arlo noticed the source of the voice and his brows furrowed. He tried to ignore but he was blocked.

Arlo glared at him and stopped. He checked Sky who skated ahead.

That man looked at Arlo's line of sight and exclaimed, "Tom was right. You came here with a girl. Let me check her out."

He had just turned, Arlo pulled him back by his jacket collar taking advantage of his height. That man was annoyed. "It isn't like I will kidnap her. Why are you reacting like this?"

'Kidnap her' Arlo was tired of hearing that word.

"Senior Fred! If you make any nuisance around her, one signal from me, you will be thrown out of here." Arlo warned him in a cold tone.

Senior Fred snorted looking at him, "She is coming here, I will talk to her."

He raised his hand to stop her and talk, "Hey!" but Sky glided off because she didn't know him and Arlo didn't say her stop.

After thinking about it, she panicked, 'How to stop?'

She saw Arlo who was looking at the man whose height only reached Arlo's shoulder and he had annoyed expression all over his face.

"Did she just ignore me?" Senior Fred asked in bewilderment.

Arlo gave a faint smile and looked at Sky whose expression was a little stiff. He ignored his senior and went towards Sky.

"You brat! How can you ignore your senior?" He then signaled a girl to wait and followed Arlo.

When Arlo reached Sky, she had noticed him hence she held his arm, "Arlo, How to stop this?"

Arlo started laughing. "Arlo!" Sky pinched his arm and slowed the speed.

"Watch and learn." He said and did it

Sky asked again, he moved in front of her and showed it. Sky tried but her leg was cross and she was falling. Arlo glided front to hold her.

He bent to hold her but it was late and she slid on the ice surface. But he had bent too much and lost balance. Sky was in front of him so that not to hurt her, he fell aside.

Sky looked aside and saw him falling down. She burst into laughter looking at his expression. She felt like he was angry on the ice floor.

"Arlo! Are you angry on your balance or ice surface?" Sky asked and chuckled.

Senior Fred looked at them in bewilderment. Somebody actually dared to laugh at Arlo and even teased him.

He saw Arlo swiftly get up and held Sky, he thought Arlo would throw her out now but he was stunned to see their interaction.

Sky was wearing a short knitted skirt and her thigh-high boots were removed for wearing Skating shoes. Her legs were on the ice and she was teasing him without realizing the cold.

Hence he swiftly got up and held her up holding her arms. Sky held his hands and tried to stand.

Arlo wanted to chide her but she spoke first. "Don't leave me! My legs are quivering." Sky tightened her hold on his hands.

"Why? Didn't you feel cold when you were laughing at me?" Arlo huffed.

Sky started laughing again, "So you too can give different expressions."
