Chapter 432 - Your secretary agreed

Sky munched a cookie as she heard Clark say 'Yes!'

A frisky glint flashed across her eyes and asked, "So is he going to ask me to be a female groomsman?"

She knew Peter and his girlfriend were in a long-distance relationship and they were thinking to get married for a pretty few months.

Maxwell knocked on Clark's head. "Why did you say, Peter? Dumb fellow."

Clark gave them a pitiful look before going to the kitchen. Sky laughed and asked, "So I'm right."

"No!" Sam answered her turned her towards the main door.

Peter entered with a girl intertwining their fingers. The girl looked very shy and scared while entering inside and clutched her dress hem tightly as she looked around. Her shoulder-length jet black hair swayed whenever she moved her head.

"She is so tall and pretty." Sky said looking at duo entering.

Peter was tall and well built. His girlfriend was only a few inches shorter than him and slender. A masculine and delicate woman matched perfectly.

Under everyone's gaze, she was even more scared and was mumbling something to Peter. The latter had a blissful smile and led her towards David first.

Peter introduced them to each other before they bowed to him. Then after introducing David's assistant, they turned to Arlo.

Arlo nodded at the girl and shook his hand with Peter. Then they walked towards Sky. The latter poked Sam, "Can you tell me what's going on? Why is she looking at me in awe?"

Sky could see her scared eyes and surprise look. Peter was ecstatic so she ignored him.

"Ms.Sky, Meet my fiancee Elina. Elli, She is Sky Harley. President and CEO of Harley corporation."

Sky gave a warm smile and greeted, "Hi Elina."

"Hello, Ms.Sky!"

"Don't be scared. We will not do anything to you." Sky tried to relax her.

Elina nodded and looked at Peter before speaking to Sky, "You don't really look like how Peet described you. You are very cute and loveable."

"That's only because of how she is dressed." Peter butted in.

Sky knew how Peter describes her. He uses all negative words because Sky always tortured him.

'Wasn't she scared just now? why is she flattering me?'

Sky smiled bashfully, "You are very beautiful." and glanced at Peter before saying, "How can you fall for him? You would have got a better one." Sky took her revenge on Peter.

Elina knew she was joking hence she continued, "I will manage with him in this life."

The smile on Peter's face vanished and others started laughing. "Two women together is a call for disaster."

Elina pinched Peter and Sky raised her brows at him. It was enough to keep him quiet.

"Such a sissy." Sam commented resignedly.

Peter glared at Sam, "That's because of you. If she says, you will roll up your sleeves to charge."

Sam ignored it, "Come to the point."

Peter nodded and handed the box he had to Elina and as he spoke to Sky. "Ms.Sky, Elina doesn't have any sister and her few friends who are unwed. So I suggested you. She is here with a proposal. Hope you can consider it."

Before Sky could react, Elina spoke, "We know you are very busy with work but Peet insisted on asking you. Our wedding is on the Second Saturday in December."

She extended her hands holding a blush pink circular box towards Sky, "Will you be my bridesmaid and maid of honor?"

Sky subconsciously looked at David who nodded at her. Peter spoke sincerely. "Ms.Sky You will be the only bridesmaid she will have if you agree."

Sky shot him a glance hearing his sweet tone to coax her.

"Elina, I would love to be part of it but isn't it usually asked for friends and sisters. Will you be comfortable with me?" Sky thought she would be part of groomsmen with Sam and others. She didn't guess this would happen.

"I will be comfortable. Don't worry about me. So will you?" Elina asked earnestly.

Sky took the box and smiled, "Sure!" Sky opened it and saw, there was a card with a neck choker wrapped around it.

"Ms.Sky, you don't have to wear it, it's just a gesture." Elina said after celebrating with Peter.

Sky didn't respond and looked at other things, There was a wine glass, candle, lip balm, compact. Sky noticed a todo list of bridesmaid.

Accompanying bride for wedding gown selection, Bridal shower, bachelorette party, wedding rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, Performance and personal thoughts/well-wishes with best man.

Sky coughed lightly, "Who is the best man?"

Peter pointed Sam. Sky sighed in relief, "So Sam going to give dance performance with me. That's interesting."

"Nope! I play piano, You dance yourself." Sam replied instantly making everyone laugh.

"Hey! How can I dance alone for piano music?" Sky wasn't going to give a solo dance performance. Never!

"Ask your secretary then." Sam looked at the bored Arlo who was sitting with David.

'Why do I have to stick to my secretary every time? I am already spending way too much time with him.' Sky thought to herself and felt like crying.

"You ask him." Sky told to Peter who agreed instantly and went towards him.

Sky turned to Sam and whispered, "Am I not spending too much time with Arlo? There is not even a single day I haven't seen him." That she realized after seeing him. They always used to study so she didn't feel anything. Thinking back, she actually spent more time with him than anyone.

Sam didn't respond and just smiled seeing Arlo's reaction who agreed to Peter without batting an eyelid.

Sky pinched Sam and asked, "Why can't you dance? How about I learn to play the piano and we can play together?"

"No!" Sam replied and took out a champagne bottle.

"Ms.Sky, your secretary agreed." Peter said proudly and took the bottle from Sam. He popped and they enjoyed for some time and had their lunch.

Before Elina could leave, Sky mentioned she couldn't attend the bachelorette party as those consecutive days she would be very busy.

Tired Sky sat with David, his assistant, and Arlo when others left.

"Dad! This is the first wedding I will be attending after THAT wedding." Sky leaned on David's shoulder as she said.
