Chapter 439 - Tug of war

The next day, Sky received all reports about reviews and one travel blog report. Travel bloggers included pictures of treehouses, tiny house, sunrise point, sunrise, zip line, kayaking, and other adventure games with a sunset picture from where she sat with Arlo.

Harley shared it and thanked them on social media accounts.

Travel bloggers had stated the dates when they would be writing about it. Jane had released one blog and mentioned she would release two more about it.

Till Wednesday end, everything went well and numerous netizens showed their interest on the Harley website and social accounts.

At the end of Wednesday, they released the website and announced to the public with pictures, short trailers, and content.

After confirming everything was fine, Sky left office on that day...

On Friday, the morning after breakfast, Sky left with David and the squad to the Harley resort. The Barton full family also left town A to Harley resort.

They had reached half a way to resort, Sky received a call from Ethan, "Sky! Why didn't you call me for your birthday yet? I'm coming home tonight."

"I'm not at home! I'm going to the Harley resort. And I'm not celebrating my birthday." Sky said the fact.

"Are you going to stay there tonight? Why didn't you call me? Are you still angry with me? Skkkyyyyyyy..."

Sky rubbed her temples, "Okay! come over." She didn't call him because he was handling a business acquire.

"That's like a good girl. See you soon." Ethan hung up.

Sky shook her head resignedly and looked at David. "Ethan is coming!"

David rubbed her head and sat quietly. Sky showed all reviews of travel bloggers and their blogs.

"What do you think? Will this work?" Sky asked after letting him read completely.

"I trust my daughter's abilities." David said proudly.

"Dad! Can't give me your review?" Sky said and pouted.

Whenever she asked anything, David would always say he trusted her and ideas. He would say he would still stand by her side even if her ideas go in drain.

David chuckled looking at her rubbing her head on his shoulders like a kitten.

But what he said was the truth. He always thought her ideas were quirky and he looked forward to seeing the results as her. But he never disliked anything whatever she did.

Soon they reached the destination and waited there for the Barton family. But a different car pulled in the parking area. After carefully noticing, she identified Arlo and Ryan.

'Did I call them? or Dad?'

'I had given him work. Did he finish it?' Sky thought to herself.

Another car pulled towards the parking. Seeing it was Jai's car, A smile on her face appeared instantly forgetting about the work she assigned to Arlo. She went towards them.

The five members who were time passing looked at her and brothers. They shook their heads resignedly as they mentally prepared to get tortured by them.

Loran who got down went towards her saying loudly, "Sister Sky! I missed you."

He had spread his arms to hug her. Sky ran towards him but slid under his arms and skipped towards Jai.

"Brother Jai!" She hugged him and chuckled peeking at Loran's puffed-up cheeks.

"Wow! Did we come here to see how amazing brothers and sister are together?" Ryan spoke to himself and Arlo heard him. They greeted David and looked at the trio.

Jai rubbed her hair. "My little sister, He will flare up if you don't greet him."

Sky nodded as she chuckled. After giving Loran a punch on his abdomen, she hugged him, "I missed you too Dumbo."

"That's better." Loran was happy after hearing her.

After greeting George and Georgia. Sky became a travel guide and explained everything to all about the place as they went inside. To everyone, it was new except Arlo who worked on it with her.

David, George, and Georgia were on carriage peddled by a guard. Rest had their bicycles.

After the tour, Sky told them to choose places for themselves then she turned to Jai.

"Brother Jai, We three are staying in there." Sky pointed at a triangular tiny house that had both hill and lake view perfectly.

"As you say!" Jai replied. "Sister Sky! I want to stay in all three." Loran looked around.

"No problem! You go. We two will stay together." Sky made a tongue out hiding behind Jai.

Loran pulled her out and pulled her cheeks, "It's your resort. I can come whenever I want. So I will also stay with you two."

Sky cheeks turned red due to his pull. She pouted at Loran.

For Arlo, she looked alluring with her tomato-red cheeks. He took a deep breath and chose the nearest to another triangular house.

Sky announced the rough itinerary. Lunch to their respective rooms and rest in their place till afternoon three. Then they can try rope activities and other games. She pointed sunset view place, Dinner place.

Next day morning half-past four they would start trek to peak for sunrise point. Descending would be by the zip line or on foot.

Then breakfast, finding flags in the forest within the fencing area. Then lunch and departing back to the pavilion.

All understood and left to their places after taking their bags. Sky and Barton brothers rested and spoke a lot before they came out for games.

David, George, and Georgia were the only audience and they walked around. After trying all rope games, All stopped at the tug of war.

"How to make groups?" Sky asked as she looked at them.

She was thinking to make two captains but Clark suggested, "How about Alphabetical order?"

"Okay!" Sky replied and called out alphabetically pointing alternative sides.

"Arlo, Clark, Brother Jai, Jimmy, Loran, Maxwell, Peter, Ray, Sam. Me!"

So the red team had Arlo, Jai, Loran, Peter, and Sam

The blue team had Clark, Jimmy, Maxwell, Ryan, and Sky.

After finishing she realized she wasn't with Jai or Loran or Sam. Not to mention Arlo and funny strong Peter was also not in her team.

"Brother Jai! Why are guys over there? These are all kids." Sky saw Clark, Jimmy, Maxwell, Ryan and told them as kids.

The red team started laughing at her comment. Whereas her team was embarrassed.

'Kids? Really?'

'Sister Sky! You are the petite one here.' Clark thought to himself.

"Sky! are you backing out? just because we are here." Sam tested standing at last.
