Chapter 442 - I do

Sky held on to a tree branch by both hands. Pulled herself up by her hands, she kept her elbow on the tree branch for grip. She was completely hanging. Arlo looked at her helplessly and was prepared to hold her if she falls.

Sky used another hand to take out the flag and threw it down.

"I'm coming down" Sky said and hanged herself on the branch.

Arlo held her, "Leave the branch."

Sky left and held his shoulders as she came down. "That side right?" Sky said for the next flag pointing the other direction and saw Peter and Jimmy looking at them.

"That was a sight to see." Peter told to Jimmy and walked towards them.

"Ms.Sky, learn to be weaker and girly sometimes. It's good." Peter commented.

He had seen Arlo's face whole time. He could say Sky's intention was only to get the flag. But poor Arlo, who was arrogant and cold to all was too gentle and caring for her and his eyes never left her face even when her face was right in front of his face up so close.

"Whatever!" Sky said and looked at their flag, they had only four flags.

"Now I got to know the advantage of having a girl in the group." Peter said remembering their encounter.

Peter and Jimmy's flag was in bamboo trees and both fought and spent a long time to lift another one on the shoulder.

Jimmy hummed to him. Sky chuckled and commented, "Why? are you guys missing Sanem and Elina?"

"Ms.Sky! Aren't you giving the wrong example? San is my wife, Elina is his fiance. You and him? Boyfriend?"

Sky knocked on Jimmy's head with flags and moved towards their next flag. She only saw those girls with them, so she took their name. And these men! Uff!

"Friendly advice! you will get only five flags that side. You have missed one this side." Sky said loudly enough to be heard to Jimmy and Peter.

But they ignored her advice and went on. Arlo ignored them and followed Sky as he berated himself in his mind to think straight.

On the way, they met Clark and Ryan. Clark whined at her saying Ryan goes here and there and keeps watching different types of leaves, birds, and trees.

Sky controlled her laughter and patted on his back, "Sometimes we have to get adjusted with monkeys. Don't worry about the game."

Clark nodded and left on their route. Ryan gritted his teeth and looked at flags in Sky's hands. "You guys got nine already. We have only five." then he turned to Clark and ran, "Hey Clark, Let's find the flags fast."

Sky was speechless. 'What were you thinking till now Mr.Ray?'

Later she told to Arlo "I'm very glad it's you, not Mr.Ray."

'Yes! it's me.' Arlo thought to himself.

After taking the last flag, they were returning to the gathering place where the game ends. Sky saw Jai and Sam talking and walking towards the last point.

Sky called Arlo, "Run!"

Since both players have to be present to tell their position out of five hence Sky who ran a few steps stopped and held Arlo's hand before running again.

"Don't be slothful. Run!" Sky said. Arlo chuckled silently and ran behind her.

Sam and Jai had seen them but they didn't run as they continued to talk and walk at their usual pace. Their pace in the forest was also the same speed hence they reached that time. If they walked or ran like Sky, they would have reached a long back.

Sky reached and left Arlo's hand as she waved her flags at Jai and Sam. "We won!"

"Nobody will believe Sky would behave like this. She is a big headache in every meeting for every Director of Harley." Sam said when he saw Sky jumping and waving her flags.

"And nobody will believe Arrogant, ruthless, cold-hearted President Smith follows her like a teenager." Jai said as he smiled at Sky.

Sky told Jai about how Arlo identified the pattern and they found all flags. Later she pitied Clark for having Ryan as a teammate.

Loran and Maxwell reached next. Peter and Jimmy reached and eyed Sky. "You were right! We had to go back."

Sky chuckled, "I gave free advice."

It was lunchtime hence she called Clark and told them to return. Both fought with each other on the way back holding four each.

After lunch, all rested for some time before leaving. Sky reluctantly bid them goodbye and returned to capital thinking their time was too less.

It was dinner time when they reached the capital, Sky asked all five, Arlo and Ryan to have dinner before leaving.

After sending them to the outhouse to get fresh, Sky got fresh and noticed light illuminating near a tree that was visible from her balcony.

She went out and checked, there were nearly twenty star-shaped lights which she didn't get anywhere after the accident.

The only one who knew about it was Sam. She put on her sandals and went to the outhouse. She asked Jimmy was on the ground floor and went to the terrace.

On the way she didn't really notice anyone and went ahead. Arlo who saw her taking stairs to the first floor towards him then turning towards upstairs and went ahead excitedly without looking at anybody.

"She was looking like a school girl running to get candy. Hahaha." Ryan said playing with his phone.

She was wearing cream full sleeve top in-shirted in the knee-length floral skirt which was Loran's gift. The dresses which the latter chooses always went well with her.

Arlo ignored Ryan and went upstairs to the terrace. Sky was holding Sam's arm as she pointed at the biggest tree in their yard which had stars hanging.

"... They are soo beautiful. I can see them from my balcony. When did you arrange all this? Aww, I love them."

Her exhilarated voice sounded on the terrace. Knowing that she liked them, Sam smiled and rubbed her head dotingly.

"Are you going to disjoint my hand?" Sam asked looking at his hand.

Sky chuckled and left his hand, "I will let you off for the stars this time. Come soon to dinner."

She left after saying and saw Arlo standing near the entrance of the terrace door. She just smiled and went down towards the tree.

Arlo went towards Sam and looked at the tree. The latter noticed him and spoke, "They were the reason you got to meet Sky!"

Arlo understood what he meant. She was in the mall to buy those star-shaped lights and delayed her return back to Jeff's resort.

Both didn't speak and Saw Sky taking pictures of the tree and playing with the light which was reachable to her height.

"You like her. Don't you?" Arlo asked as he took her picture.

"I do!"
