Chapter 444 - She was bored

"You imagined, Didn't you? Shall we go shopping then?" Sky teased.

Sam got down from the car and went to her side. She had just removed her seat belt when he opened the door.

As soon as she got down, he slammed the door. Seeing him not able to say anything, Sky pursed her lips harder but her face turned red.

"If you stand here a one more minute, I will throw you under the bus." Sam scowled.

"Okay" She knew about reverse psychology hence before leaving she said, "Don't imagine too much."

Even though Sam was smart but he couldn't control his subconscious mind and again a picture of him wearing a white dress popped up.

He gritted his teeth and hopped on the car after allocating few members to guard the place.

Sky was the maid of honor hence Elina introduced everyone to her but she didn't remember any of those names as she didn't feel the necessity. She time passed some time with them.

Most of the time, Elina and her friends took pictures rather than enjoying or talking. Sky also takes pictures with Loran and others but they don't make the taking pictures as there enjoyment. So seeing most of them living a digital life, she was bored.

Elina looked her as President and CEO so she didn't call or force to be part of it.

Sky excused herself to go the restroom and returned but she heard a few girls talking, "She was so snobbish. What will happen if she takes pictures with us?"

Sky knew only she was the one who stood aside for half an hour.

'Was one and half an hour of pictures with her wasn't enough?'

'Why did they call it a bridal shower when they only wanted to take pictures?'

Then Sky heard Elina's voice, "Shut up. Sky is a reserved person. Everybody can't be like you guys."

Sky smiled to herself and went towards the end of the lobby to watch outside. After about five minutes, Sky heard a voice calling her in doubt and saw Olivia coming towards her.

"Grandmother!" Sky helped her to sit on the couch which was in the lobby.

"Child! Why are you here alone? Did you come here with friends?" Olivia asked concernedly.

"Kind of. Bride's bridal shower. I'm her bridesmaid as she doesn't have any unwed friends."

Olivia held her palms and rubbed knowing they were cold. "Then why are you standing outside?"

Sky looked at her hands as a smile appeared and replied, "I was bored and stood here for some fresh air... Grandmother, Are you alone here?" She looked behind as she asked.

"No, No! I came with my grandsons. I came for dinner now! I saw you and guessed it as you so I came here."

"Oh! Let me leave you to your room then." Sky stood up to help Olivia.

Arlo and Ryan who entered the lobby saw Sky. Ryan ran off aside. "What is she doing here? I don't have a beard."

Arlo rolled his eyes and threw his face mask at him before striding towards them. Olivia had just stood up, Arlo reached them.

"Ms.Sky! You are here!" Arlo held Olivia. "Bridal shower." Sky said as she left Arlo to help Olivia.

"Child! If you want to join us, come over." Olivia said and left with Arlo.

Ryan snuck into their private room when Sky wasn't seeing. He messaged somebody to get his beard if in case Sky and he had to meet.

Sky went into their room and saw that dinner was served. She sat and ate a little as she answered whenever anybody asked her anything. Since they all knew each other well, they spoke more. Sky felt little out of place sitting there.

One girl commented seeing her eating nothing, "Now I know how you maintained your figure. But you should eat more."

Sky smiled, "Okay I will."

'Figure?' Sky wanted to look at herself once but didn't react much.  'Eat more? I eat so much like a piglet, I can skip this time.'

Sky had no appetite at all. Hence most of the time she drank only juice. Due to cold weather and juice, she wanted to use the restroom again and left.

She called Sam while returning back to the room. Sky knew they had a bachelor's party. So she called again.

When he received, Sky spoke, "Sam! You enjoy the party. I will ask Dad to send somebody to pick me."

"Yes! I'm sure."

"I only drank one glass of champagne, not a bottle."

"I'm fine. You don't drink and drive."

"Hmm See you tomorrow." Sky hung up and realized somebody standing behind her. She was standing in between the corridor. She jerked aside and spoke.

"I'm sorry, You... Arlo! Couldn't you talk? I got goosebumps thinking somebody behind me."

Arlo ignored her question and asked, "Shall I drop you?"

"No, It's okay. Spend time with your grandmother." Sky replied without hesitation.

Arlo took out his mobile and dialed David's number quickly, "Chairman Harley! Ms.Sky asked Sam to enjoy the party, I'm free, shall I drop her home?"

Arlo turned on the speaker, "Sure!" Sky was dumbstruck, 'Why didn't he ask me ?'

"Thank you! She will reach home safe." Arlo said and hung up.

"Hey! Shouldn't I give you permission first? Why are you so domineering?" Sky said and was leaving, he pulled her back.

'If you behaved like this during work, I would have kicked you out. Hmph' Sky thought to herself glaring at him.

He wanted to say, 'I will drop you' but feeling her hands cold he changed. "Why are your palms so cold?" He furrowed his brows as he held both her palms.

She used hot water for washing hands but still, her palms were cold. But she gave water as the reason. "I just washed my hands."

She was darting her eyes when she replied, so he asked again, "Really?"

"No! My palms are naturally cold since it's winter, they stay cold. Now leave my hands. I will go inside." Sky tried to pull her hands off but to no avail.

Arlo understood why Jai and Sam always handed her hot milk cup.

A girl who came out of the room to use the washroom saw them and called everyone out.

"Wow! He is soo handsome. My husband is nothing in front of him."

"Is a movie star? How does Sky know him so personally that he is holding her hands?"

"She is slightly better looking, How did she get him?"

"Was she coming out to meet him?"
