They reached the coastal area at dinner time. After dinner, they went to Arlo's yacht.
"Dad! Whose Yacht is this? I never heard you had one." Sky asked as she looked around.
David glanced at Arlo before replying, "Borrowed. Do you want one?"
Sky shook her head instantly. "No!"
Others looked at each other and pursed their lips. 'Isn't Arlo's yacht is her yacht too?'
When she was going near railing she would hold Loran or Jai whoever was near to them. They knew she was scared of water, they didn't mind anything. It was getting dark, they didn't get to see much.
After reaching the island, the Hotel staff received them and sent them to their rooms. Since it was late, Jai didn't allow Loran or Sky to go out or talk.
Sky had to stay with Arlo in the same room and they had only one duvet. It was winter so duvet was required. Even with a centralized heater, it wasn't enough to manage the temperature.
Seeing her looking confused and troubled, he went out and brought another duvet. Sky sighed and slept rolling up in one full king size duvet.
They spent three days on the island. Sky just watched the trio who played water adventure sports. Four were tanned well when they returned coastal area.
Sky was leaving from there to country Y while others went to Town A then David would return to capital. Jai and David successfully convinced her to bring Arlo with her.
After boarding the plane, Sky glared at Arlo, "Aren't you bored of seeing me all day?"
Arlo promptly answered, "No!"
"Why?" Sky whined and continued.
You should get bored and reject Dad and Brother Jai's request. We are going for a week in the forest for meeting tribal folks. You may not like it. They can be scary and try to harm. There will be animals and poisonous insects..."
Sky was indirectly saying for him to go back to Capital but he burst into laughter and pinched her cheeks. "You are so cute." He felt like he was delicate than her when she was trying to scare him.
Sky sat back weeping virtually. The more she tried to stay away from him, the more they were staying together.
After five hours they reached Country Y airport. Sam had reached an hour early from the capital and waited for them in the lounge. She had messaged him about Arlo with lots of crying emojis before taking the plane hence he knew about his arrival.
Wearing her trekking bag she left with two men. Joe was there a day early and he picked them. They left for a full night journey towards the destination.
After talking for some time, Sky dozed off. When she woke up in between she saw three men silently sitting without even sleeping.
"How can you three don't sleep and don't even talk?" Sky asked in a groggy voice rubbing her eyes. Three men looked at her and remained silent.
"Do I have to be awake to make you three talk?" Sky scratched her head helplessly as she asked.
"No"
"No need."
"Sleep!"
Sky saw right, left, shotgun seat and sighed. "I'm sleeping."
When she woke up next, she was alone in the jeep and it was dawn. She looked around and saw three standing with few members using the map.
She went out and stood with them listening. When they finished, another few looked at Sky and one of them spoke, "Is she coming with us? Can she really make it with us? It will be very troublesome if she delays."
Sky gritted her teeth. Just because she was a girl, why do they look down? Girls may not be as strong as a man physically but that doesn't mean she couldn't climb multiple hillocks in a day.
"Mister! You should mind your business. If I can do it or not, we will get to know soon." Sky was always sharp with her words if a stranger looks down on her.
When Sky gave voice, Sam and Arlo's cold glare made him tremble. Joe was enjoying her arrogant side.
Another man spoke to clear the awkwardness, "We should get going now."
Sky and others turned around to get their bags, Joe flicked his fingers causing his group to turn to him as Sky, Sam and Arlo didn't care.
"This is your last program with us. And the rest, if you dare to insult my little sister, you can forget about jobs in this lifetime."
Sky's lips twitched hearing his instructions. She went back to him, "Brother Joe! You are not doing anything like that. They should first learn to be a man to learn how to respect a woman. Let's go."
We would never get respect by threatening or scaring them. Upon that she would never meet those people after one week.
Whatever she said was a slap on the face whoever said or thought negatively about her. They didn't dare to comment about her again throughout the week.
Three men were impressed by how she handled. Their way could be scaring, threatening or getting physical. But her way didn't include any of that. Few lines questioned their personality which will make them think about themselves.
Viciously hitting where it hurts.
They started their journey. On the way, Sky learned how to use a map and direction compass. And finding where they were by checking in the compass and locating on the map.
Sam and Arlo were used to her questioning about all her doubts and her quick learning skills. It was Joe's first time hearing her numerous easy to brainstorming questions about everything she was learning or seeing.
She would leave Joe tongue-tied to which Sam or Arlo would help him to answer. After a course of distance, they reached a streamlet where they cooked and had lunch.
Sky hadn't really noticed other men who were following them. They had brought root vegetables on the way which they boiled to eat. She saw them washing and dragged Arlo to ask about it which looked colorful. Some were white, some were green, light brown, purple.
Joe who was sitting at little distance from Sam asked him. "Is my sister always like this or just over-excited to be here?"
Sam glanced Sky who was trying some raw vegetables. She puckered her face from not liking it. "I felt like she asked too few questions for not scaring you."
Joe didn't know how to respond to it, 'A few questions? She asked at least a few hundreds of questions in just five hours.'
