Chapter 482 - I will kill you and he will kill me

Sky had turned off the speaker when he was going on with praises, hearing his another yell, she kept away the phone from ear as she heard him.

"Loran! stop shouting! If Brother Jai wakes up, I will kill you and he will kill me."

She just finished when she heard Jai's voice, "My Little sister! Did you forget me as soon as you got your brother Joe and Loran? I will see you soon."

Loran burst into laughter hearing Jealous tone. When Loran shouted the first time, Jai had reached Loran's room and heard their conversation on the speaker from that time. He decided to speak when he heard his name.

Sky smiled cheekily, "Brother Jai! Check your phone, I messaged you first. Hehehe. There is nothing to be envious."

"So message for me and call for the younger brother." Another strike at Sky.

Jai had different notification settings for Sky's message and he had seen it, When he was about to reply, he heard Loran and went to his room.

Sky didn't want Jai to wake up so she didn't call else she would have conferenced him in the call before saying. She was sure even Jai knew why she did that but she also knew he always wanted to be the first one to hear everything from her, good or bad.

She started coax for a few mins and then hung up. Seeing everyone looking at her, she chided herself for sitting there and talking.

The first one to break the silence was Joe's teammate, "Young miss! Didn't you tell us you do, ' Nothing much ', how come you designed two houses and won the awards? Are you an architect?"

Sky shook her head, "I do nothing much other than my work."

She didn't know them so didn't want to tell them. Her reply was tongue-tied for the one who questioned. Another one asked, "Can we see your designs?"

Joe shot him a glance, "Check Harley resorts website. You will get those designs."

One quickly checked and passed the phone to others. "Wow! They are unique. Did you work on this project? Why didn't you work in the Milton empire? They are considerably huge than Harley."

Sky's lips twitched. She was talking to Joe doesn't mean she would like the Milton empire. "Are you expecting me to leave my company and work in Milton just because it is huge?"

He didn't understand what she meant, "Isn't it good for carrier growth?"

Arlo responded to him, "Are you expecting Heiress of Harley, President Harley to leave Harley corporation to work in Milton? Career growth? Shouldn't that mean, President Milton has to give up his position for President Harley."

Not only teammates but Sky also froze. 'Was it required to say it? and that too so high profile. Heiress and president.'

Teammates looked at Arlo who hardly spoke in the entire trip, then at Sky, next at Joe who nodded to confirm them.

They thought she was just a spoiled kid with arrogance as she always gave vaguely and curt answers to them. She was president Harley and at least she responded was already a big deal for them. They thanked the time that they were sitting or else they would have stumbled and crashed to someone if walking.

When they finished dinner and went out, they asked Joe in a whisper, "Boss! Were you telling us this was her full identity? and nobody knows how young miss looks."

Joe stopped and added, "Another identity is, She is the wife of President Smith of Sigma industries. She is Madam President of Sigma industries. So even if you dare to go against me or my little sister to expose her identity, President Smith will hunt you down in a matter of minutes or maybe seconds."

Joe saw their dazed expression looking at the back of Sky who was walking between tall men. Joe chuckled to himself and flicked his fingers in front of their faces.

"You and You... You guys were dreaming to get my little sister, isn't it? You even tried to flirt with her in front of her husband. So beware."

Joe finished and strode off to Sky to see her off before going to his gateway for boarding.

Joe's teammates saw Sam and Arlo. "Ar... Arlo who... who ca...came with us was Pre... Pres..dent Smith. Hahahaha I'm... dead."

A teammate fainted who had asked Sky to join them for their next outing and asked her number in front of Arlo when Joe wasn't around.

Arlo didn't mind that situation as Sky rejected with a straight face without batting an eyelid. Since he didn't ask again, he ignored him.

In the plane

As usual, Arlo had booked a complete business class as Sky again didn't bring Harley Jet saying she wasn't going on work.

The trio sat according to seat numbers on their tickets. Sky and Arlo's seats were next to each other and Sam's seat was behind them. The latter changed his seat to diagonally opposite side to them giving a lame excuse to Sky when she asked.

After settling, Sky thanked Arlo, "Thank you for the successful presentation on the bidding of Carlton lake."

Arlo was in semi disguise throughout the presentation, he wasn't sure if anybody identified him or they got due to excellent presentation which was approved by Sky after fifth-time correction. But he couldn't explain those to Sky as of now so he just nodded with a hum.

Sky had already given him a bonus for that so she didn't dwell on it.

Country A

The trio reached Airport in the morning five.

Sam had his bike at the airport hence he drove off to his home and Sky insisted him to rest in the home for the day.

David's guards picked Sky and Arlo and dropped to Sapphire tower with their new set of cloth to office. After sending their bags with them back to the Harley mansion, Sky took Arlo to Jai's apartment instead of the penthouse.

Sky got fresh in her room and Arlo in the guest room. The latter drove her Aston martin which guards left before leaving the sapphire tower. Sky booked food delivery to the office and both ate.
