Chapter 494 - You are a vampire(3)

Sky heard him but covered her face, "How does that matter?"

Arlo peeled her hands as he said, "Of course it matters. Do you want me to show your face to know the shade of red?"

Sky pouted. She knew it long back. "I need time." Ultimate weapon.

"No!" Arlo wasn't ready to push and let her think too much.

"Just now you said it. Upon that you were so rude to me in the hospital that day." Sky wanted to cry but no tears came out.

"I was afraid you will reject so I was rude. And I will give you one night to think." Arlo said firmly.

Arlo saw her scrunching her brows, rolling her eyes and pouting as she blinked quite a few times. "What happened?"

"Huh? I am trying to cry." She was actually trying for a long time.

Arlo chuckled knowing she couldn't bring fake tears. He sighed thinking everything was fine. "Don't worry, I will not push you too much. You can get used to me and our relationship slowly."

Sky bobbled her head indicating 'Yes' but she didn't know she fell into his trap again. When he asked whether she could consider their relationship, she didn't respond so he used another way and she agreed.

If it was work-related, whoever tries to fool her, will get screwed back with a painful end. For the rest of the things, she was simple and also dumb.

"Silly!" He said in a gentle voice.

Sky widened her eyes not hearing properly. He couldn't control himself looking at her innocent and clear gaze on him anymore. He buried his face near her neck to tease her.

She felt electrocuted and her body tensed when his nose touched and glided on her neck. Her toes were curled as she clutched the duvet under her as tight. Finally finding strength and words, she pushed him, "Arlo!"

Arlo was aware of her changes, he also realized his changes but when Sky pushed him aside, she bit again on his other side of the neck and snorted before sitting up.

He gritted his teeth, "You will pay for this one day." Then he entered the dressing room before entering the bathroom.

Even though he could have controlled which he did for a long time controlling all his urges without touching her, Seeing Sky would make his body react more hence he went in to help himself. 'Dumb woman! I will eat you alive.'

Sky checked the time and flabbergasted. They left Cox mansion at eight. Half-past eight they were at home and it was twelve now. 'Why did I talk so long?'

She got off the bed quickly and kept her shoes, earring other things in place. She waited for Arlo to exit so that she could take a shower.

Sky badly wanted to ask him, 'Did you sleep in the bathtub?'

She was tired of yawning by the time he came out. She had her nightdress in hands and went in half sleepily.

She didn't take long and came out as she chided, "Are you out of your mind? Who takes a cold shower in winter? Don't even dream that I will sit at home and look after you." Sky had felt like she would freeze when she went inside the shower block.

Arlo grounded his teeth at her comment and saw her arranging pillows in the center. She kept her head other side dropping her long hair down and covered herself well pulling the duvet to her side.

"Sky! What are you doing?" Arlo asked in his gentle voice.

"Sleeping!" Sky's voice was low and mellow.

He held the duvet and lightly pulled leaning headrest. Sky shot her eyes open and pulled the whole duvet to her side, "What do you think you are doing?"

Seeing duvet hill on her, he wanted to laugh knowing what she would be thinking. "Why are you keeping your head that side?" Under the dim light, he didn't know her hair wasn't dried.

"Oh!" Sky released her tight clutch on the duvet and responded, "I'm sleepy and letting my hair dry naturally."

Arlo furrowed his brows and got up from the bed. After fetching the hairdryer, he plugged it near her bedside, "Get up."

Sky's eyes were closed and she didn't know why he asked. She flipped, "I'm sleepy."

He threw the duvet and made her sit, "Don't even think I will sit at home and look after you if you catch cold or fever." He repeated her words without leaving her to protest.

Sky was sleepy so she had no mood to say anything. Instead of sitting, she leaned on him and dozed off leaving him to do as he wants.

'Lazy panda!' He thought to himself and dried her hair quickly.

He laid her on the bed and stroked her cheek, he understood why she was getting vexed when anybody addressed him as her husband. Many incidents popped up in his mind understanding why she was always used Ryan's name whenever he did anything for her.

He gently pecked on her forehead before he kept the hairdryer back and slept.

Arlo woke up first and got ready for a workout before Sky. When the latter was going for Jog he joined her. "Why are you coming with me?"

"Fresh air is good for health!." Sky rolled her eyes hearing him. It was her line when he asked her to use the treadmill.

Both jogged till trainer Harry reached. Then worked out. Sky left first and took a bath. When she came out, her dress for the day was prepared as usual and Arlo went in.

Sky slightly curled her hair in the crown part and made a half-bun. Arlo came from behind, slowly pulled out a few strands and left on her side face and kept a few hairs in the front from her back.

She looked like a new job trainee, young and fresh. It wasn't the first time he did that but it was the first time after she got to know he wasn't gay and he likes her.

"Why are you turning pink... No red?" Arlo purposefully teased.

Sky turned and left, "Get your eyes checked."

He chuckled and followed her out.

Sharp-eyed Ryan identified within a few minutes on the table. "Why are you two behaving differently?"

Sky looked at him and at Arlo and repeated twice before giggling. Arlo knew the reason but he remained silent. Ryan found it weird and looked at Arlo.

"Lass! why are you laughing?"

Sky shook her head and continued to eat. David, Olivia, and Ryan were confused. Since she was intently eating, they didn't disturb her.

When she finished, Ryan asked, "Sky! why were you looking at me and Handsome Demon?"

"I..." Sky couldn't get to finish, Arlo closed her mouth and brought her towards exit saying, "We are getting late."

A maid had to follow them to hand Sky's bag and her jacket. He took it and left her mouth when they reached a little distance away.

"Arlo! I wanted to say 'I just looked at you guys' Why are you overreacting?"

Eavesdropping Ryan couldn't get to hear anything and Arlo hopped on the car after making her sit. Olivia and David were confused too. Since Sky didn't do anything, they didn't react.

In the car, Sky sensed Arlo glancing at her many times. She didn't turn and warned, "I will throw you out if you look at me again."

Arlo chuckled and spoke, "I didn't know you are a vampire."

Sky was confused for a few seconds and realized that he was talking about her bite. "Oh! yeah. Beware I may drink your blood."

Sensing he would continue to tease, She diverted the topic to him, "Why didn't you tell me that you like me?"
