Chapter 519 - Five wedding proposals

Before the banquet, Sky and Arlo checked the arrangements and were satisfied. "Rony! Why don't I see your company logo anywhere?"

"My company?" Rony scratched his head.

Seeing his confused expression, Sky again asked, "Are you working in Azure as other's company? I thought you working as it is yours."

Sky said and moved on saying, "Put your logo. You won't get a better opportunity than this." Because many socialites, rich business families, celebrities, political leaders were attending.

Arlo glanced back before saying to Sky, "Sky! you are smart."

Just her one line, 'I thought you working as it was yours.' made Rony happy and enthusiastic.

"Oh! You have got a smart wife." Sky said smiled to herself.

Arlo wanted to say 'Narcissistic' but carried her towards their room.

"Arlo! Do you think we are at home?" Sky pulled his ear as she asked.

Arlo ignored whatever she said and successfully showed off to Kris who was at another side of the corridor.

After changing to business formals, Sky wanted to cry.

She always shared matching outfits with brothers. Sometimes with Mia but she didn't feel it as cheesy. But seeing Arlo matching with her. She didn't know what to do.

She knew well everybody would think she chose outfits but they wouldn't believe even if she tells it was Arlo.

When she exited the room, Sky saw Sam and Clark had chosen the same colors. She ran up to them "You two look great! Accompany me."

Sam saw Arlo and Sky, "Did he chose the outfits?"

Sky nodded vigorously. Sam twirled her effortlessly to Arlo, "Take care of your wife."

Sky was already in Arlo's arms who was smiling at her. Sam went ahead with others as Sky stood there finding words to get back from Sam and Arlo.

Arlo made her take the next elevator and they met James and Ethan. Instead of greeting, Ethan rolled his eyes, "Dad! Didn't I tell you? Their PDA is too much. I will die single looking at them."

"Uncle Jeff!" Sky greeted and stomped on Ethan's feet with a smile for whinging about her.

James rubbed her hair dotingly before nodding at Arlo.

Ethan and Sky bantered until they reached the terrace. After settling them on their assigned chair, Arlo pulled her away and made her sit. Since Sam was on the same table, Arlo left to do the works wearing his mask.

Soon banquet started, Arlo and Andy were in charge as Sky instructed everything in walkie. Kids program finished first so that they could go back and rest soon. Sky was the first to clap for Sam instead of kids which only a few knew.

Sky got a flick on her head in return when Sam got back to his seat.

The old members of the Harley orphanage took care of the program under guidance. Whenever anybody gave a donation in cheque or transfer they would announce in mike and there would be round of applause.

When they heard President Lan donated ninety million, everyone gasped. The emcee called Kris Lan on to Diaz and passed him the mike. "President Lan, may we know the reason for your huge donation? Do you like kids so much?"

Sky almost laughed hearing the last question. She drank juice gracefully but her eyes were on Clark who was explaining how boring to attend the events.

Kris looked at Sky as he replied, "Chairman Harley and President Harley are the inspiration. They taught me money can be earned but we should be down to earth."

"Oh! Enlightenment in Legacy!" Sky commented.

Sam and others knew Chairman Harley was included so that there shouldn't be any rumors. Sky received a few pats, "Come on! Isn't he still lying? I forced him to donate is a matter of fact."

Men around her chuckled.

After knowing Kris's donation and the reason 'Money can be earned but we should be down to earth' made many more people donate after the completion of the auction.

Funds raised about a billion surprising David. Sky explained about Kris and how it raised, he burst into laughter. "You are a sly businesswoman... By the way, I got five wedding proposals for you."

Sky saw Arlo's face darken and teased him responding to David "Without seeing me they have given me proposals. It must be true love! Five weddings! Wow! Dad! It's a great deal."

Sky was chuckling when Arlo stood up to reach her. She ran away as Arlo chased her in long strides.

Sam, Peter, Clark, and Maxwell shook their heads resignedly and went back to their room. David chuckled looking at them.

Andy couldn't understand why Arlo went behind Sky and thought it must be because to protect her as she was President Harley.

Sky was caught when she had descended a few stairs. "Why are you so fast?" Sky cried as he carried her off the floor.

He took her to their room, "True love?" Sky shook her head as she moved back.

"So you want five weddings?"

Sky again shook her head before falling into trance in his kisses. Sky couldn't keep up with him who carried a hit of possessives in his kisses.

When she would lose her breath he would bite her ears, pecks on her cheeks, forehead, eyes, and neck which would make her tremble slightly. Then he would again invade her mouth once she was catching a breath.

She lost track of how many times he repeated. She closed his mouth breathing heavily. It took her a long time to be able to speak. "Why do you like kissing so much?"

He caressed her face which was red as a cherry and said in a seductive tone which made her blush heavily. "You are irresistible."

She pulled a pillow between their face before saying, "You need a cold shower."

Arlo knew about his body, he was surprised to hear it from her. "So how did President Harley got to know about it?"

She had noticed him take shower twice many times and she had checked on the internet and realized why he was taking a cold shower. She didn't respond as she clutched the pillow tightly.
