Jai looked at her and raised brows in amus.e.m.e.nt but he spoke to Arlo. "Arlo! Can you please take Mia out for a few minutes?"
Arlo nodded and carried Mia out. Seeing Sky leave too, Jai pulled her back on the chair.
"Sky! From when did you know?" Jai asked seriously after making her chair turn towards him.
"About what?" Sky wanted to slip away. "Sky!" Jai's voice was still serious.
Sky pouted and replied, "After a month of knowing I am Sky Harley."
Jai raised his brows for continuation. Sky continued, "I got a nightmare one day and I came to your room but you weren't there."
"Continue!" Jai said as it wasn't enough for her to know.
"Once, I saw you leaving on your bike at night in black. That day I saw you from your room and shortly afterward I heard a chopper sound."
Jai waved his hands to continue, "Once I went to your club to surprise you but I saw you disinfecting a long cut near your waist."
"The same day you were crying and you gave the reason as 'you were feeling down so you are crying'. So the reason was my wound."
Sky nodded slightly as she pursed her lips. "Why didn't you come or ask me?" Jai asked.
Samara silently sat and watched duo talking seriously. She knew about Sky. She might be playful but she was obedient to Jai. She was responsible and mature than her age but Samara knew well that all credited to Jai as he managed to carry off her mischievous side.
"I knew you were hiding something. So I didn't ask and you used to look angry and damn serious when you used to leave home. Like Grim reaper so.."
Seeing her bite her lips, Jai rubbed her head dotingly, "You... were scared?"
.
.
Sky listed many incidents and ended with the last incident.
"The cream which you gave me for healing scars. Dr. Goody asked me where I got. I didn't say that you gave me instead I asked, what was so special about it. What he said confirmed me."
Jai wanted to explain but Sky spoke, "It's okay, you don't have to tell me. I know you are just following the protocols."
"So my little sister was grownup a long back." Jai's voice was as gentle as ever. He didn't expect her to know and upon that she played dumb just because he wanted to keep it secret.
Sky's low and obediently voice was back to normal, "Who said it? I played all the kids' games in the theme park with Mia."
Samara chuckled hearing her. 'Kids' game?' Feeling two gazes, Samara apologized. "I'm sorry I'm sorry!"
"See! your wife is already laughing at me." Sky crossed her arms as if she was angered.
Samara knew about Sky so she knew Sky wasn't angry. "You two are more like a father-daughter than a brother-sister."
Sky and Jai chuckled at Samara's comment. Sky spoke as she held Jai's arm, "So Ms.Military, You better take care of your daughter. If you make me upset, I will kidnap your husband."
Samara laughed and looked at Brother-sister who continued to tease each other. Arlo and Mia returned after checking Sky's message.
Sky then diverted the topic to cousins. "You two didn't even talk. Are you guys really cousins?"
Jai tapped on Sky's nose, "Do you think your husband talks with everyone how he talks with you? They probably met after years."
Sky was shocked and gave two thumbs up, "Great!" Cousins looked at each other but didn't say anything.
Samara asked, "So how should I address you? President Harley? Sister-in-law? Sky? or Daughter? Oh, wait. Jai what your mom calls her?"
Jai rubbed Sky's head before replying, "Princess."
"Princess! So how do I address you?" Samara asked earnestly.
Instead of choosing one, she said what was not required, "We aren't stranger anymore. So President Harley sounds weird. No sister-in-law. That will make me seem old and I'm younger than you. If you call me daughter, people who hear you will faint."
Sky imagined Samara calling her daughter who was just two years elder than her and instantly shook her head.
Samara nodded in agreement, "So I'll call Sky or Princess." Sky agreed. Mia stood up, "Me? Me?"
Sky smiled and carried Mia, "You are the little princess."
They continued for some more time before leaving the restaurant. Jai had to go to the National sports academy for the selection process hence, Samara drove off by herself.
Jai pulled Sky aside and spoke to her. "You are still ignoring Arlo."
Sky nodded slightly. She knew Jai was smart and could know about them easily.
"Do you at least know he loves you?" Jai asked. Sky nodded looking at duo not far away.
"Do you know you too love him?" Jai asked and saw her cheeks turn red. "Hm." Sky gave a curt and low noise which was even hard to detect.
"So you do know that." A teasing voice heard making her flush red.
"Brother Jai!" Sky elbowed him. Jai turned her towards him and asked seriously, "Do you remember we have seen a place where two streams connect?"
Sky nodded. Jai asked again, "Do you know what happens when they meet?"
Sky nodded and answered, "Two quietly flowing streams, in the place where they meet, they turn into the craziest waters of the world."
Jai nodded and caressed her hair as he continued about it, "In foamy chaos, they seethe, rise, lose their temper and they seem to forget how to flow as they fight together but then in the future, the water learns to flow together more calmly."
Sky nodded in understanding. Jai continued, "You two just encountered a brook. I think you should find a way to flow together."
Sky understood who were 'you two' mean.
Jai continued after seeing her silent, "Of course, you have another choice to break, unlike streams. But I'm sure you don't want that option."
Sky pursed her lips and hugged him before nodding. If she was fine with 'Break up' systems, she would have dated and had lots of friends.
