Chapter 568 - Pour water on yourself

Arlo waved his hand to send a photographer and embraced Sky, "Yes! We two look great together. So don't look down on yourself."

Sky returned the hug as she raised her head to face him, "I wasn't looking down on myself. But you look marvelous and I'm just good."

Before Arlo could speak, both sensed a camera flash and turned towards it. Photographer scratched his head awkwardly, "You two make a perfect picture. I couldn't resist but to take a picture. You two... carry on. I'm off."

Sky chuckled seeing him run for his life. Arlo spoke, "You are not just good! You are magnificent. And didn't you hear what that photographer said? Even he implied that you are irresistible."

Sky punched him, "He didn't mean that. If he really says I'm irresistible, probably, you would have killed him by now."

Arlo chuckled hearing her response, "Indeed!"

Both went in soon and it was time for the ring exchange. Loran was holding the tray next to Jai and Sana was standing with Samara.

Jai's friends teased Loran taking Sana's name. Sana was elder to Loran. She was beautiful and looked almost like Samara but her skin tone was lighter. She would get dimples whenever she smiled. But Loran wasn't the least bit interested in any woman and the elder was out of option.

If Sana was in some other party she would have got numerous requests by men just by seeing her dimples. Her nature was more outgoing but knowing what her mother did in the Barton house and how Jai reacted, she didn't mingle much with the Barton family.

Knowing her mom insulted Sky who was treasured by the Barton, Harley, Smith and more importantly her mysteriously scary cousin brother Arlo, she wanted to stay away from Sky for the sake of the Moore family business which she was looking after.

Sky who was clapping with others and cheering Jai while he was putting on a ring on Samara's hand but paused.

Because Arlo took her left hand slid a diamonds adorned ring to her ring finger.

Nobody could see them as the spotlight and everybody's attention was on Jai and Samara. The rest of the place was dark.

Sky's heart skipped a beat when the ring grazed her finger and settled perfectly on her finger. She turned to Arlo and could see him looking at her from the light reflection on them.

He moved her hand to his hand. Sky could feel the ring on his finger and her lips beautifully arced up. Even though she didn't see or feel the design of her ring, she knew Arlo's ring design by the touch.

It was plain except a stone in the center and the other end of the ring had carved letters. S & A. Sky understood why he was smiling so much all day. Both didn't say anything to each other. They looked ahead when the lights turned on.

All wished Jai and Samara before going to the lawn where a big table was arranged for dinner. Above them were multiple lights hanging by the branch of the tree. Everyone raised the toast to Jai and Samara before starting the dinner.

After dinner, All went back inside where the minibar was completely arranged. There were a few performances like singing and dancing.

Jai and Samara both had to dance even though both didn't like to do. Then all other couples joined them including George and Georgia before other singles moved to the music.

Out of all, who picked a lot of attention was Sky and Arlo. As elders didn't move a lot on stage, Jai and Samara didn't want to move a lot. Samara's cousins and their spouses weren't as eye-catching as the former couple.

For their every move, Sky's skirt and hair swayed effortlessly making it hard for anyone to look away. Arlo and Sky spoke to each other and she was chuckling ignoring they were many singles who were cursing her.

Elders all went to their room leaving others. Loran stole Sky from Arlo to dance till Samara's cousin announced their game.

It was very simple. A bowl of papers in which everyone's name would be written on it. One has to pick a chit, the whoever name they get would give them the truth or dare or task to do. The punishment was drinking three shots of alcohol.

First, one to go was Samara, She got Maxwell's name. The latter wanted to give dare as a kiss but Sensing Jai's gaze, he changed, "Who proposed? You or Mr.Barton."

Sky knew the answer and poked Jai. Samara blushed as she said, "Me!"

Samara's relatives erupted in cheers as the other side was laughing. The next turn was Jai. He got a name from Samara's relatives.

"Mr.Barton! Kiss your fiance."

Many cheered excluding Loran and Sky. Samara was glaring daggers at her relative when Jai said, "Sure!"

"Brother Jai will not kiss sister-in-law as you all thinking." Sky said.

"Then dare?" Clark asked.

Loran turned around to him, "Dare was 'kiss your fiance', not lip lock in front of us. For Brother Jai and Sister Sky, dare should be foolproof else they will escape without batting an eyelid."

As Loran said, Jai took Samara's hand and helped her as she climbed the stairs. He pecked on her forehead lightly and brought her down leaving everyone speechless as Sky and Loran were laughing.

Next was Sana and she was asked to sing. The complete floor was pin-drop silent hearing her melodious, heart touching voice. There was loud applause after the song.

The next turn was Sky. She picked up and said, "Aileen."

Sky wanted to faint looking at Aileen. The same girl who she poured a glass of water on her spoke. "Pour water on yourself."

Sky signaled at men who reacted for her dare. She indicated them to stop. "Sure Ms.Aileen."

Samara's relatives started muttering thinking they might have some problem. Sky took a glass full of water and poured it on her backhand in front of everyone. She said very sweetly "Done!"

Loran was the first to burst into laughter followed by many others. Aileen turned green and returned to her drink. Jai ignored. Arlo's face was dark till Sky reached him.
