Chapter 578 - Adoring gaze

Sky didn't answer and locked his lips with hers holding on to his shoulder who was kneeling in front of her. Arlo was surprised and looked at Sky whose eyes were closed as a tinge of redness started to appear on her face.

Alluring and captivating.

Before he could react, he was going back. He had to use his hand to support from falling back on the floor and laid back slowly.

Sky who was on top deepened the kiss when she laid on top of him and Arlo started to respond by intertwining their tongue. Sky who always weakened into puddle water while kissing controlled their kiss which was passionate yet gentle, unlike their intense kiss which would take her breath away.

They were engulfed in a sensual air. None of them were ready to break as it continued for a long time. They broke unwillingly when Arlo's mobile started ringing.

Arlo muttered as he took his mobile out, "You will regret calling me."

Sky laid on him and chuckled seeing Ryan as the caller's name. Arlo received it, "Ryan Wilson, you got guts to disturb me now."

Sky heard Arlo's cold tone and moved her ear next to the phone. She heard Ryan stutter and started chuckling once more. "Ray... Ryan why are so scared of your brother? He will not do anything to you."

Ryan understood why Arlo said 'disturb'. "Sh*t. Do you guys go to the office for working or... or..."

Rian didn't get a proper word to say and heard Sky laughing again. He hung up the call and cursing both in his office.

Arlo hit on her buttock shocking her, "Stop squirming on me."

After hearing him Sky realized something jabbing her thighs. She replied with 'Oh' and was getting up, Arlo held her backhead before rolling on top of her.

He caressed her lips as he spoke, "It was sweet and soft just like you..."

'I was never sweet, okay?' But she didn't dare to voice it and continued to hear him.

"...So you can take the top."

Sky was dumbfounded, 'Why does everything end up there?'

Seeing his raised brows, she spoke, "You have to make me happy for that. And it's not at all easy."

Arlo nodded. "I will work hard for that." He pecked on her lips and got up before pulling her up from the floor.

"You have a meeting soon. Go and work." Arlo said as he tidied her dress and hair.

She nodded and went out. Before closing the door, she ran into his arms and pecked, "Check the closet before making the call."

She exited the room and went to her desk.

Arlo smiled holding his mobile and opened the closet. Half of it had his clothes. He didn't know whether to cry or happy for knowing she understood.

Sky completed her meeting and started finishing her previous day's work. With Arlo's help, she finished faster and arranged the previous day's meeting to evening.

Since Harley's previous year project was stable and covered their ninety percent of expenses in just six months. Sky was checking on other areas she could bring in or to extended the branch to a different country. If both didn't hold the ground, they would be going for Harley's mobile application release.

Sky wanted to open an Advertis.e.m.e.nt agency as their marketing department's creative team was too small and with that Mobile application. But David suggested not to open the agency as part of Harley and open under her name separately.

So she was weighing the pros and cons of all the possibilities. Because the Advertis.e.m.e.nt agency as the department was too small for Harley corporation and couldn't be taken as a project.

Sky was planning to give the presentation by herself but Arlo volunteered as he knew about her ideas and her plans.

Sky sat on her chair and watching her husband fluently presenting and everyone's attention was on him. Sky supported her elbow on the table and leaned her head on her palm tilting lightly.

Arlo who was presenting noticed her adoring gaze multiple times and tried to keep his eyes away from her. Sky noticed his changes and realized it was because of her.

A mischievous glint flashed across her eyes and waited for his eyes to fall on her. Since everyone's attention was on the screen and Arlo, nobody had their eyes on Sky.

When Arlo's eyes were brushing on Sky, She pouted her lips sending a flying kiss with a wink of an eye. What Sky didn't expect was Arlo to stop speaking. She clenched her teeth tighter to control her facial expression. She sat straight instantly knowing all would turn to her.

When many turned to her, she spoke formally, "Arlo! What's wrong? Continue."

Arlo gritted his teeth and gulped a glass of water before continuing. If it was somebody else, he would have felt disgusted and poured the same water on them.

He knew Sky was playful but he didn't expect her to do those in the meeting hall. First, her gaze started to distract then her flying kiss with a wink made him pause forgetting what he was doing.

'Dumb woman! I am going to eat you up soon.'

After the meeting ended and taking inputs, Sky and Arlo left to her office to get their laptops. Sky purposefully called Loran number to stall time for letting Arlo take revenge.

Sky held his arms as if she didn't do anything and continued to speak on her mobile. After hopping on the car, she started talking to Sam and even told how Sky and Arlo would be going between Sigma and Harley.

Of course, Sam teased her with Jimmy who was on the shotgun seat. She knew well Arlo glancing at her many times. But she ignored and played dumb.

After bidding to Sam and Jimmy, Sky ran off inside without getting caught by Arlo. The latter whispered in her ear before sitting on the couch. "Who will save you in the bedroom?"

Sky was thinking she would deal with it later but Ryan soon came home and started to complain about his call to Arlo.

Sky and Arlo looked at each other. Understanding well, Arlo dragged him away by collar saying he needs some file. "Ryan Wilson! First, you disturbed. Now you are complaining. Don't you think you got too much nerve? If you like our PDA so much, from tomorrow, you can see it in my office. I will ask to set up your desk there."
