Chapter 584 - Your loss

The lady was wearing a skater dress looking very elegant. Looking at her sky-high heels, Sky felt her foot pain. She looked very delicate in her pearly white skin. Her mellow voice was sounding in the office repeatedly.

Sky almost laughed when Arlo flung her hands away from his arm and she lost footing and fell on the couch. "Arlo, I'm seeing after so long. I came here right after hearing about you and why are you treating me this way?"

Sky could hear a trace of sadness in her tone which wasn't present earlier when she was trying to cling on to Arlo to kiss him on the cheek as greeting.

Arlo's back was facing Sky hence She couldn't make out his expression. The lady continued to cry like a docile lady. "See here, My leg got hit and it's hurting. Look. Ahhh It's very painful. Arlo!"

She held Arlo's hand when he tried to go away. Sky who stopped Ryan to speak coughed lightly then he said, "Sorry sorry"

Sky knew he did it on purpose.

Arlo turned and saw Sky looking at him with her blank expression which he never could read. He remembered how she poured a glass of water on Aileen when she hugged him and called him with the disgusting nickname 'Aaru'.

But now she had seen another woman pounce on him to kiss. He was thinking whether she would leave without talking or she would get angry on him or she would get angry on her when Sky walked towards them.

"Hey, Ryan" That lady greeted Ryan cheerfully.

'Miss, where did your pain go?' Sky thought to herself and reached them.

She changed her line of sight to the lady and greeted her shocking Arlo and Ryan. The latter was signaling Arlo as 'You are dead'.

"Hello, Miss! I'm President Smith's new Personal Secretary." Both shook their hands.

Sky continued, "I just saw how President Smith was repulsive. If you don't mind, May I give you tips for that?"

Ryan had to cover his mouth tightly to control his laughter. He wished that scene to be somewhere else than in Sigma so that he could laugh aloud.

Arlo's face darkened.

The lady thought Sky would be giving some verbal tips and she nodded sitting on the couch as if she was queen and Sky was serving her.

Sky went next to Arlo as she spoke, "Actually it's very simple. I'm sure you are smart enough to learn by watching."

Sky stood on her tiptoes, her right hand pressed Arlo's shoulder down, she kept her left hand on his right cheek and she was about to peck his left cheek, Arlo turned to make it land on his lips.

Sky widened her eyes in shock and thought she should have held his chin which would have restricted moving his head. But she recovered soon and left.

Ryan was speechless.

The lady stood up abruptly when their lips met. "You... You..."

Sky managed a faint smile, "See, that was very easy. Why don't you try now? Be very gentle."

Ryan who heard Sky burst into laughter near the door. All secretaries peeked at him in surprise. But Arlo's face was dark as coal.

When Sky said 'try' to that lady, she forgot about Sky and thought to try but seeing Arlo's darkened face and cold air around him, She ran out and Ryan entered inside.

"Sky! You are a masterpiece." He pinched her both cheeks. "You are the only woman who could say to another woman to try on her own husband."

Sky ignored his compliments and went towards the resting bedroom to use the washroom as she spoke, "Just because I said 'try' that doesn't mean President Smith will let anybody touch him."

She heard Ryan say before she closed the door, "Don't you think you trust your husband too much?"

Sky didn't reply and Ryan heard Arlo, "Who else should she trust? You?... No! you never even had a girlfriend. By the way, have you ever kissed?"

Critical hit.

Ryan exited the office as he said, "I thought to tell you about your wife. Your loss."

Arlo didn't care about what he said as he knew Ryan would eventually spill out and entered the bedroom. Sky came out of the washroom and was startled to see Arlo standing like a statue leaning next to the door.

She patted on her chest and pointed in thinking he wanted to use the bathroom but she heard, "Don't you think we should finish what you started?"

Sky turned to him in confusion. Seeing him coming towards, she understood. "You are the one who turned. I have to handle so many of your admirers and why am I the one to get punished for that?"

Arlo saw her reaching the door but he didn't allow her to escape and lifted her up by the waist. "How about a reward?"

Sky rested her hands on his shoulder knowing she couldn't escape anymore. "When my response doesn't matter, why are you still asking?"

Since Arlo was moving backward, he fell on the bed keeping her on top. "Oh! You are getting smarter."

"You are the one who is dumb." Sky said indicating she was always the smart one...

Both went out after the fierce battle with their tongue and teaching Sky how to leave a mark on the skin that Arlo regretted later seeing her leave a quite few marks in revenge.

He then explained that the lady was a daughter of VP who once timely admitted his grandfather to the hospital hence they have little independence in Sigma until they cross the line.

Sky wasn't expecting any justification or explanation so she didn't really care about it.

Clara soon came with files that need Sky's signature. The latter got to know she was Arlo's secretary by seeing how Clara mingled with the rest of the secretaries and Arlo had sent her to Sky knowing she was good and loyal.

After lightly brushing through the content which she had already read and approved to get them, she signed them and sent back with Clara who had Harley's vehicle.

Arlo finished his boring meeting where Sky almost felt like sleeping hearing everyone talk robotically and finishing it.

Ryan stayed in Sigma when Sky and Arlo strolled in the supermarket as they picked required things and would fight with each other when Sky would pass the snacks section or instant dessert section.
