Chapter 599 - The taste important

"Too flavourful, little nauseous." Sky took mild-flavored dishes and continued to eat.

Arlo who tried the same chicken dish got to know she still had sensitive senses after his torture and dishes weren't strongly flavored.

He picked mild dishes for her as they all talked. David who noticed Sky skipping her all favorite spicy meat dishes asked in concern.

"Lass! What's wrong? Why aren't you eating most of the food?"

Arlo was about to stop her from speaking, she answered nonchalantly, "I felt nauseous eating spicy."

Everyone sitting with them was over smart people who misunderstood easily.

Her head was low picking a vegetable when she heard Arlo whisper, "Pay for your misfortune."

"What?" Sky looked at him not understanding what he meant. Arlo behaved as if he didn't hear her.

One who could think straight voiced first. "You don't look like you have cried." Sam said.

All knew she couldn't eat if her mood was awful or if she cries.

"What?" Sky looked at Sam and realized everyone looking at her excluding Arlo.

'Misfortune... Cry...' She couldn't understand.

"That's because Ms.Sky is also Pregnant." It was Peter's cheerful voice.

Sky choked on her food and coughed very badly. Arlo patted on her back and David helped with water.

"So this dinner is for Sky. Let me get champagne out." Ryan wanted to toss.

He ran out before Sky could react. The latter gritted her teeth looking at Peter, "Where the hell did that come from? I'm not pregnant."

Peter looked at her innocently, "You are the one who said nauseous. Pregnant women can't eat flavourful dishes."

David patted her lightly asking concernedly but one could say how happy he was just by looking at his face. "Lass! Why are you nauseous then?"

"Dad! It's just that I felt sensitive to smell and taste." Sky replied the truth.

Arlo saw her falling deeper without understanding.

"Exactly! Pregnant women will have sensitive senses. Even if they eat for cravings, they will throw up." Peter said proudly as if he knew everything.

Before Sky could respond. Olivia spoke, "Kid! Why are you hiding? It's a happy thing to celebrate."

Sky hit her forehead once, "Peter, You are dead meat today."

She was getting up, Arlo made her sit. "Sky isn't Pregnant. She is just feeling sensitive."

All gave 'Oh' reaction and none dared to continue about pregnancy as Arlo clarified it but Sky continued. Before that Ryan came and asked whether Arlo was tossing or he should do it. All looked at excited Ryan and laughed.

Clark spoke, "Sister Sky isn't Pregnant."

Sky continued right after him, "Somebody else is."

Even though she was shocked to hear it, she clearly heard what Peter said, 'That's because Ms.Sky is also Pregnant.'

All looked at Sky and saw her line of sight which was on Peter.

Ryan stood confusedly thinking what to do with the bottle. He didn't notice himself that he used to order a servant to get things when was living in Smith mansion. But now he preferred to go and get it himself in his excitement.

Peter looked at everyone's gaze before asking Sky, "Did Elina told you?"

Sam knocked on his head. "You said 'also' while saying your sentence."

Champagne was opened for Peter and Elina. After dinner, Sky kicked Peter out of the mansion saying, 'Wife is more important than a birthday.'

The rest celebrated Ryan's birthday at twelve before all took rooms and rested.

Sky had prepared a gift for Ryan but it was in the Harley mansion. Arlo gave him a new limited edition car which he was eyeing on.

But there was one more request from Ryan to Sky was decor his room in the Harley mansion which he hadn't done. Sky ordered all men to give him birthday bumps because he took so long to ask her.

By the time Sky went to the bedroom, she was dead sleepy. As soon as her head rested on Arlo's chest, she fell into deep slumber without knowing she would have to cook tomorrow.

Her gym session was cut off by David and Olivia who ordered her to cook as a custom of the bride to cook in the groom's house.

She gave many reasons like they weren't newly married, that custom was already carried out, they were already living together, office etcetera but none worked.

She even called and whined to Jai but he didn't help and even asked to send a picture and informed her to be careful.

Arlo was like 'Let me see how you will handle.'

Losing all hopes, Sky entered the kitchen. Since it was breakfast, She knew some light dishes to manage. But she didn't want to make or look simple, Sky used her creative methods to the old style.

None of the maids were allowed inside knowing Sky was very smart and she would get her work done.

At last, She cooked for 7 men, Olivia and herself. All the dishes were easy but the presentation was unique.

While arranging the table, Sky informed the maid to call everyone from the living area. After arranging everything as per her way, she took a breath of relief and turned to all who were entering the dining room.

Arlo pursed his lips and stood at the entrance of the dining hall leaning on the wall looking at Sky who was wearing a maxi dress with an apron on. Her hair was tied into a knot where few strands of hair falling on her delicate face giving a perfect housewife look who cooked for everyone and waiting to serve them.

Others who entered didn't have much expectation on food but they were curious to know what she could make other than desserts. But looking at her, a smile appeared on their faces too.

"What are you still doing there? Come in." Sky called Arlo and looked at everyone seeing the table instead of sitting.

Arlo saw colorful dishes that were beautifully presented on the table. Sky had to drag him in front of the table and asked how it looked but the latter said 'the taste is important' which made Sky snort and video called Jai.

But she got chided by him for doing so many dishes. Loran was angry about not cooking Frittata for him and even ordered her not to cook anymore and let her husband cook.
