Chapter 613 - I'm pleased

Arlo did so much and he was doing so much for her and what was she doing? Nothing.

She did nothing.

She was doing nothing.

She remembered what Jai once told, the relationship never depends on one's efforts and sacrifices, if it is, then it won't be called as a good relationship.

He couldn't understand why her eyes welled up hence he stood up to go near her but Sky burst into tears.

"Why are you crying? If you don't like it here, we will leave. Stop crying..... Sky!.... How can I know if you don't tell me?" He was helpless.

Sky spoke between her sobs, "Why are you doing all these? I don't know to do anything and you always do everything. You left your house for me, you ignored Sigma to work as my secretary, you always taught whatever I wanted to learn, you cook for me, you always..."

Sky listed out everything as he tried his best to stop her from crying.

" ..... You have done a lot for me and what am I doing? I'm doing nothing. I even trouble you all the time. Even now you are tending to me. I'm so terrible."

Sky pushed him away and wiped her tears as she sniffed. He couldn't take her nonsense about herself which ired him.

"Have I done a lot for you? Have I done a lot for you? Do you know how I used to be? I never cared about anything other than work and staying at home. I was a lifeless body working all the time. Now I'm happy every day, I smile and I talk because of YOU fool. I do those small things for you because YOU don't depend on me for anything."

She stopped weeping as she heard his annoyed yet helpless tone.

"And You! You always did everything because I wanted to do it. I wanted to cook, you agreed, I wanted to teach, you agreed, I wanted to marry, you agreed, I wanted to bring you here, you are here. You never said NO to me. What have I done? I just fulfilled your one wish that is staying in Harley Mansion."

There was complete silence when he stopped speaking. They could hear only their breathing and streamflow.

She agreed to continue cooking because he was exceptional, she agreed for him to teach her because he was talented, she agreed to marry him because she also knew she liked even though she thought him as gay.

A muffled voice sounded, "But I haven't really done anything by myself for you. I'm not good enough for you."

Arlo really wanted to check what was present inside her head. "YOU are not good for me? Are you saying, you are not good for me?"

Sky bit her lip seeing him angered. He never got angry whenever she scolded him. He was getting angry because she was reviewing herself negatively.

"Do you know how many tie pins you gave me?... 29. 6 collar pins, 13 ties. And You designed every single one of them. What did I give you? Nothing! Because you don't like things. You will be happy just me spending some time with you. Dry your hair and you are happy, it's that simple for me. And YOU! You make sure to keep everyone happy around. Grandmother and Ryan smiles and laughs more being with you which I never could do. Even if I make some mistake, you apologize to me for raising your voice at me. Everyone says you deserve somebody better than me that I don't deserve you. And here you ..."

Sky who was blankly hearing turned grim, "Which idiot said that? I will beat them up to a pulp. Who told you that? Huh?"

'That's not important.' Arlo just looked at her stern face which changed hearing him say 'He doesn't deserve her.'

Sky saw him without talking or moving. She went up to him and hugged as she patted, "Don't listen to them. I wouldn't have got anybody better than you. Probably, I would have lived single all my life. So ignore it. You are the best husband."

She got kidnapped, she coaxed him. She was crying, she was coaxing him again. She was ready to look down herself but she couldn't take it if anybody looks down on him. He couldn't understand how her brain structured.

Seeing her face up looking at him, He internally sighed and pecked on her forehead. "Okay! Do you still think you are not good enough for me?"

Sky blinked a few times and responded unhurriedly, "I'm with you, That's enough for you."

Happy with her reply, he made her sit on the chair as he went towards the room, "Don't you think you took a too long time to realize that?"

Of course, she always knew that. It's just that he did too many things, she just follows him everywhere and he says yes to everything whatever she says or asks.

'Oh yeah! Except junk food.' 

Arlo returned with a wet towel and wiped her face hearing her, "I ruined our romantic dinner. Isn't it?"

"Oh!" Arlo didn't reply to it and kept the towel aside. "I will get the mood back."

After a passionate kiss and seeing her red cheeks, he sat back, "Now it's perfect. Eat."

The lingering feel of his fingers on her skin made her blush more as she ate. Seeing her go silent looking at the plate, he turned her chin towards him, "What's cooking?"

"How can you be graceful and dashing doing thos..." She gritted her teeth and moved his hand away.

Arlo smiled, "I'm pleased to hear that." He continued to tease her till they finished their dessert.

Sky offered to wash them since the maid wasn't there. She was surprised to hear Arlo agreeing right away because he never allowed her to do. Seeing him stretch his body and hands as he went towards the room, she assumed as he was very tired.

She quickly cleaned the dining table and plates before taking her mobile from the coffee table. She was confused to see it as switch off and turned it on.

After dialing Jai's number she realized there was no network. She checked Arlo's mobile and it was the same.

She searched if there was any telephone but found none.

"Arlo! There is no signal, How to call? There is... no... tele... phone..."
