Chapter 652 - Search of her boyfriend(2)

"Cupid?" Sam rolled his eyes at Sky when she reached them.

"How was your lunch buddy? Two weeks back on Wednesday." Sky initiated the fire and ran off to David where Arlo was standing.

The two men knew she annoyed Sam and went to them to save herself even though all knew Sam would never get angry on her other than giving her light flicks or glares or kids' punishments.

Sam gritted his teeth as Maxwell, Jimmy and Clark bombarded him with questions and reported Peter about it as he was an expert leg puller.

Ivy had messaged Sky that when she was on the way to lunch, she had met Sam who was going for lunch and both had their lunch at the same place. Since Sam didn't talk at all, Ivy had just thanked him for handling the man who misbehaved with her at the Anniversary party of GenX.

Seeing Sky giggle looking at him, Sam ignored bombarding men and took her aside.

He lectured her for a few minutes saying there was nothing like that and he just gave her face because Sky was on good terms with her.

Sky patted on his shoulder and asked innocently, "I never said there is something going on between you two. Why are you justifying? Sam, what's up?"

Sky kept her backhand on his forehead, "You don't have a fever... You are looking handsome as always so I'm sure the brain is working right. Where... it... went... wrong?"

Sam twisted her ear slightly seeing her grin mischievously pointing her finger at his heart, "Stop playing with my mind. If anything, I will tell you first, alright?"

Ignoring her ear's slight pain, her eyes twinkled brightly, "Really?... That's cool. If we have to kidnap anybody for you, Don't back down. I will support you even if..."

Seeing her behave like a teenager speculating his nonexistent girlfriend, Sam smiled and left her ear hearing her going on about his girlfriend.

During dinner, all raised a toast for Ethan and he raised for Sky surprising everyone. It was for getting him on track as a responsible man and to get his girl back.

Sky became famous in Jeff's family circle soon and Arlo was grim when he heard a few Jeff relatives trying to get her relationship status and family background from James and his wife.

She checked the time on Arlo's wristwatch to know how long it left for her to get punished for attracting too much attention and wept internally. 

To appease him, Sky served him personally and asked for a dance. A few were envious, a few wanted to kick them out for PDA.

After the celebration party, Ethan assured Sky that he could take care of his girlfriend and sent her with Arlo after thanking her tons of time until she gave him a sharp painful punch.

Ethan was taking Winnie towards the room to have a good talk after sending off all guest, James called, "Ethan"

Ethan took Winnie back to the living room and sat down after her, "Yes Dad"

"Are you two serious about your relationship? If not, break up now. You two already passed the age of playing around." James's voice was very grim. His wife patted on his hand to calm down.

Winnie bit her lips and glanced at Ethan who was looking at her. Ethan replied firmly, "Dad, don't worry. We are serious. We will talk first and let you and Mom know about our plans soon... I will not make Sky worry about me anymore, so you guys relax."

James relaxed hearing him. He had helped Sky only a few months about how to handle things at the company but what she was repaying him was very huge.

He initially wished Ethan and Sky to get together but after knowing both didn't have any such intention he had given up and even he thought that Ethan wasn't well matched to Sky who was very sorted and mature than her age. 

Seeing Winnie, he was sure she was shy, simple and loyal who could match his son. Since his son was brought on the proper path, he just wished him to settle down and lead a fulfilling life.

James sighed a breath of relief and stood up, "That's good. Your mom and I are leaving now. Our flight is in an hour." He turned to Winne.

"Winnie, if this rascal misbehaves, give a call to Sky, she will break some bones to teach him."

Mother Jeff, chuckled as she followed James bidding Ethan and Winnie. Both were going on a long relaxing vacation which was planned by Sky after their consent so that they could rest and enjoy without worry.

Ethan chuckled hearing his father's threat.

Winnie peeked at the door until they left before looking at Ethan. "Can Ms.Sky really break your bones? And why your every talk has her name?"

Winnie didn't know anything about Sky and she was very confused about hearing Sky's name all the time.

Ethan's lips mischievously curled up, "Jealous?"

Winnie pursed her lips and looked down without answering. She wasn't sure if she was jealous or envious.

Sky visited her as Ethan's friends and convinced her to tell about why she left Ethan and if she was in love with anybody else.

Later she asked to attend the party which was arranged for Ethan. She didn't ask her to reconcile with Ethan.

She had told Winnie that it was her life and she should know what's good for her and what's not. But she had told her about what Ethan was doing and he was single.

While sending her to his room for surprise, Sky had told her Ethan wasn't moved on yet. That was the reason she was very nervous when Ethan entered the room.

Not knowing how to start the conversation with him after greet, she was looking at him as she waited to see any reaction.

After the shocking look, his face immediately softened which always had a loving and caring gaze on her. It was the same in the past and that time too.

She wasn't sure when Sky came, but after seeing her, she broke the silence. 

Seeing Arlo and Sky, she felt she never saw such a beautiful couple which makes people hard to take their eyes off.

She had seen them in causals in her apartment where they were trying to look normal but their demure and aura always told they weren't simple.

When Ethan complimented Sky, she didn't feel jealous because that's how Sky looked.
