Chapter 670 - He wasn't Jai(2)

All turned to Arlo and widened their eyes in shock. Everybody held their breath as many's heartbeats skipped. Arlo and Sam looked at her thinking something happened to her and took a step near her and froze seeing her leap.

"Sky..." Arlo called and Sam noticed why she jumped ahead and shouted. "Sky!"

Before anybody could shoot, Sky dart reached first and she swung her cane on the neck with all force before the tiger fell on the ground by that time the other's two darts were on it and it couldn't move.

Sky didn't know that the tranquilizer had another medicine which makes the animal go numb first before falling asleep after a few minutes hence she hit it scaring it would take time to fall asleep. She also didn't know her hit was nothing to animals if they were attacking.

Sky started raining punches on Arlo after knowing they were safe. Excluding Arlo's people, all knew why she started beating Arlo. The latter hugged her tight seeing her tears. "I'm fine... I'm fine... I'm fine..."

The group which was ahead had made the animals fall asleep the previous day hence they didn't think they could get attacked. All became attentive after that and were also prepared to get reproached, thanking their young madam in their mind for acting timely instead of panicking.

To lighten the Clark gingerly spoke, "Sister Sky, your shot was the forehead of the tiger. You are so cool."

Sky pulled away from the embrace and threatened Arlo, "If it happens again, I'm going to kill you."

Arlo obediently nodded and wiped her cheeks. Sam answered to Clark, "Your sister Sky's aiming is sharp even on flying objects."

Jimmy and Maxwell looked at each other before seeing Sky in amus.e.m.e.nt. "Goddess Sky! We don't know many things about you."

All smiled hearing Jimmy and continued. After about an hour of tedious way, Arlo's guard whispered to Arlo. The latter only nodded to him.

Arlo and Sam didn't tell anything about black attired men found dead and took her there. Sky instantly reacted seeing the clothes, "Brother Jai had the same clothes."

Seeing her run towards it, Sam held her hand and actioned the man standing next to the body to cover the face. Sam left her hand when the face was covered with plants and leaves. Sky was taken aback understanding that the man was no more.

Arlo led her near and kneeled with her, "Leaving face, can you identify him?"

"This is not Brother Jai." Sky instantly said before Arlo could even finish and all breathed a sigh of relief. She saw the hand and immediately identified whether or not Jai.

"The attire is the same as Brother Jai." She wanted to get up but pushed the sleeves back and stood up stumbling backward breathing heavily.

Sam held her thinking she would fall, "Sky! What happened?" Before he could finish, Sky had buried her face in his jacket trembling and clutching it tightly.

He patted lightly and looked at Arlo. They understood it belonged to one of the teammates of Jai. It took time to clear her lump and speak.

"When I was kidnapped, seeing Brother Jai and other four, a kidnapper was running towards to me hold me as a hostage. That... That time, I saw a man punch the kidnapper in the face holding the bracelet which was in his hand." Sky pointed her quivering finger back, "That... that looks the same."

That confirmed, Jai and his teammates were in the forest. Sky's decodes were correct and they were on the right path but they were hell scared thinking about Jai's condition and what would happen to Sky after knowing it.

Sam and Arlo calmed her before they moved towards the next body. This time all saw Sky demure changing to very cold to control her emotions. She hardly spoke and only hummed whenever anybody was asking.

She ate energy bars and drank water for breakfast but they didn't stop anywhere. At a section, they saw many snakes. They couldn't move all hence a guard boldly suggested, "We have run without disturbing them."

All looked at Sky who had bit her lip hard. When Arlo was about to speak, Sky said: "I'm going first."

She promptly jumped and ran towards another side without disturbing any snake. Sam and Arlo panicked and followed her immediately. Arlo had stepped on a snake, fortunately, none followed him and his reflex was faster. When Sam glanced at Sky, he stepped on one too but he quickly moved aside and escaped.

Sky stopped after managing some distance, "I didn't step on any." The two men dumbfoundedly looked at her.

Arlo remembered how she had shouted in the jungle house. He was cent percent sure after resolving everything if he takes again to the jungle house, she would scream in horror.

Sam was thinking after that resolves, Sky would be sleepless for a few nights remembering everything and would be scared to even walk in lawn alone. They were sure she was trying to be headstrong so that she shouldn't be a hindrance and finding Jai was very important than being scared.

The trio looked at the other side and saw everyone amazingly watching them and Sky burst into laughter after a long time seeing their faces. Everyone's lips curled up seeing her laughter. 

Since all were wearing above ankle length boots, even if few snakes tried to bite their feet, nobody got bit. All moved ahead.

On the way, they found many deers and they had to cross them and a guard shot the tranquilizer at the tiger which was trying to catch the deer. 

When they saw a group of elephants in the water. Maxwell suggested to move off quietly as they would take a longer time to leave the water and it would be a waste of tranquilizers on them.

All agreed after they discussed and moved away in the bushes. After checking the position, A Guard whispered to Arlo about the next body. After ten minutes way Arlo and Sam again failed to bring up to her orally. Arlo led her to the body which had tiger marks all over the body.

Sky saw a man standing and asked Arlo as she couldn't see the body from her place, "Who is that? Is there... any teammate?"

Her hearts beats were rasing high at that thought of seeing an injured person. Her paces slowed completely scaring Arlo. "Sky, you have to be strong." He said and led her holding her shoulders.
