Chapter 720 - Running away with the groom(3)

Sky remembered how Arlo reacted when he got to know her misunderstanding. She whispered for some time in her ear before looking at her.

"Will this work?" Sana doubted.

Sky controlled her facial expression and nodded, "Try out. If he still doesn't react, I will make sure to find a way that will make him regret leaving him with no choice."

Sana chuckled and gave thumbs up to Sky. Sam reached. "What's cooking between you too? I didn't know you guys so close. When did that happen?"

Sky glanced at Sana who controlled her emotions then looked at Sam, "Do you know? Problems bring women together."

Sam furrowed his brows, "Are you facing any problem? What happened?"

Sky couldn't help but chuckle, "Girls problem. Relax Sam."

Sam sighed and pinched her cheek. Sky slapped his hand and went to Arlo before cueing to Sana as 'All the best'

Sana smiled at Sky and left with Sam.

Sky and Arlo went to Sigma for the rest of the working time.

Sky pulled Arlo next to her showing Ryan who was intently looking at the girl without really hearing what she was telling. "I think Ivy and Ryan could hit it off if anyone takes a step ahead."

Arlo pulled her into his office not to fl.u.s.ter Ryan if he saw them.

--

Ivy was looking for a change of job and Maxwell had reported Sky about Ivy attending an interview in Harley.

Sky asked anyone of them to get Ivy to meet and that was Ivy got to know Sky and Arlo's real identity. It took a lot of time for Sky to calm Ivy who was scared to tears.

After calming her and knowing about her profile, Sky had suggested Ryan, the Vice President might need Assistant. So after an interview, Ivy became the top-notch assistant after a month of training.

Sigma provided a flat in the nearby apartment for her. Ivy had turned down Sky when she asked if she could stay with her.

Ryan liked the composed and serious working side of Ivy but he always stopped himself thinking he shouldn't like anybody.

Arlo had asked Sky to let them manage else Ryan wouldn't allow Ivy to stay by his side taking his personality.

...

After dinner in Harley's mansion, Sky didn't stay long with David and Olivia. Confused Arlo followed her and saw her calling a number.

He laid on the bed resting his head on her lap raising his brows to ask. Sky caressed his face asking him to be silent.

Sky didn't talk much other than, "All the best. Make sure you don't show your face to him. If he identifies you are acting, then our plan will flop miserably."

Sky put it on mute and told what she was doing which left Arlo at loss. "You... you told us?"

Sky chuckled shaking her head, "I will never."

At last, Sky once checked if everything was right on the call and heard Sana saying, "Anyway my fate, you just worry about your work. I will see you soon, bye."

Sky kept her mobile aside and canoodled with her husband talking nonsense after lightening the fire at another couple's side.

--

In Sam's villa.

Both had finished their dinner and Sam was lazing on the couch. Sana who was watching television muted the volume before answering Sky's call.

"Hey! What's up?" She gave a break and heard whatever Sky said as she hummed. She slowly turned aside towards the bay window making her back face Sam.

"Holy, that's so bad. That poor girl must be devastated." She gave a space as if she was listening to another end.

"You are such a good advocate, help her out. That man, didn't he know he was gay before marrying? How can he ruin her life?" She again gave a gap and was nodding.

"Oh, you get so many cases that way. Like?"

"Oh... Short? What short?..." Sana bit her lip hard to control her emotions and Sam furrowed his brows.

"Even if it's arranged, how can she don't know the height of a man?"

"That's too much, I'm married for five months already. Do you want me to send a picture of the marriage certificate or wedding?"

"What's with your language? It's not short or long, it's short or tall. My husband is very tall. He has good height."

Sam badly wanted to crush her mobile but he decided to ignore but Sana burst into laughter. "Well. You mean that. Never mind. What about that girl? Are they separating?"

"Shameless, why are you interested in mine? Consider however you want, I don't care."

"Why are you connecting it to me? I'm not pregnant"

"Fine, think short."

"Okay impotent"

"God, fine consider as gay. Anyway, my fate, you just worry about your work. I will see you soon, bye."

Sana tried her best to look composed before turning back towards television and clicking unmute without daring to look at Sam's dark face.

Sam couldn't believe he heard her agree to somebody as he had short and he was impotent or gay.

"What the hell were you talking about just now?"

Sana realized Sam was really pissed off hearing his grave tone. But she had to give the final touch.

"My friend who handles family affairs got one of our classmate's case whose husband has erectile dysfunction. Poor girl. Do you have... Nothing."

She tried to walk away controlling her laughter but Sam dragged her to his room before tossing her on the bed, "You will know."

Sana didn't get to even react to anything. She was actually scared he might go too harsh on her but she was really content seeing him being considerate.

Sam who initially wanted to prove what she was thinking was wrong but he was going crazy when Sana's soft supple skin was brushing against his firm muscles.

At one point he realized he was getting carried away but he was too late to realize it seeing her hot and tremble under him by his touches.

He couldn't control his urge and went for her lips and kissed her deep which was their first kiss...

Sana had completely surrendered to him from the beginning, seeing him stop realizing she was untouched, Sana decided to be a little courageous and pulled him down, "I'm your wife."

Seeing her tear roll down due to pain, Sam wiped it gently before taking her completely leaving her with the sore waist at the end.

Sana smiled in Sam's embrace before falling asleep. She had thought he might leave her alone on the bed after finishing. Thankfully it didn't happen.
